| 1弟兄們！我願意你們認清，我們先前給你們所傳報的福音，這福音你們已接受了，且在其上站穩了； | 1Now I make known unto you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; |
| 2假使你們照我給你們所傳報的話持守了福音，就必因這福音得救，否則，你們就白白地信了。 | 2By which also you are saved, if you hold fast after what manner I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. |
| 3我當日把我所領受而又傳授給你們的，其中首要的是：基督照經上記載的，為我們的罪死了， | 3For I delivered unto you first of all, which I also received: how that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures: |
| 4被埋葬了，且照經上記載的，第三天復活了， | 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures: |
| 5並且顯現給刻法，以後顯現給那十二位； | 5And that he was seen by Cephas; and after that by the eleven. |
| 6此後，又一同顯現給五百多弟兄，其中多半到現在還活着，有些已經死了。 | 6Then he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once: of whom many remain until this present, and some are fallen asleep. |
| 7隨後，顯現給雅各伯，以後，顯現給眾宗徒； | 7After that, he was seen by James, then by all the apostles. |
| 8最後，也顯現了給我這個像流產兒的人。 | 8And last of all, he was seen also by me, as by one born out of due time. |
| 9我原是宗徒中最小的一個，不配稱為宗徒，因為我迫害過天主的教會。 | 9For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. |
| 10然而，因天主的恩寵，我成為今日的我；天主賜給我的恩寵沒有落空，我比他們眾人更勞碌；其實不是我，而是天主的恩寵偕同我。 | 10But by the grace of God, I am what I am; and his grace in me hath not been void, but I have laboured more abundantly than all they: yet not I, but the grace of God with me. |
| 11總之，不拘是我，或是他們，我們都這樣傳了，你們也都這樣信了。 | 11For whether I, or they, so we preach, and so you have believed. |
| 12我們既然傳報了基督已由死者中復活了，怎麼你們中還有人說：死人復活是沒有的事呢？ | 12Now if Christ be preached, that he arose again from the dead, how do some among you say, that there is no resurrection of the dead? |
| 13假如死人復活是沒有的事，基督也就沒有復活； | 13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen again. |
| 14假如基督沒有復活，那麼，我們的宣講便是空的，你們的信仰也是空的。 | 14And if Christ be not risen again, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. |
| 15此外，如果死人真不復活，我們還被視為天主的假證人，因為我們相反天主作證，說天主使基督復活了，其實並沒有使他復活， | 15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God: because we have given testimony against God, that he hath raised up Christ; whom he hath not raised up, if the dead rise not again. |
| 16因為如果死人不復活，基督也就沒有復活； | 16For if the dead rise not again, neither is Christ risen again. |
| 17如果基督沒有復活，你們的信仰便是假的，你們還是在罪惡中。 | 17And if Christ be not risen again, your faith is vain, for you are yet in your sins. |
| 18那麼，那些在基督內死了的人，就喪亡了。 | 18Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ, are perished. |
| 19如果我們只在今生寄望於基督，我們就是眾人中最可憐的了。 | 19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. |
| 20但是，基督從死者中實在復活了，做了死者的初果。 | 20But now Christ is risen from the dead, the firstfruits of them that sleep: |
| 21因為死亡既因一人而來，死者的復活也因一人而來； | 21For by a man came death, and by a man the resurrection of the dead. |
| 22就如在亞當內，眾人都死了，照樣，在基督內，眾人都要復活； | 22And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. |
| 23不過各人要依照自己的次第：首先是為初果的基督，然後是在基督再來時屬於基督的人， | 23But every one in his own order: the firstfruits Christ, then they that are of Christ, who have believed in his coming. |
| 24再後纔是結局；那時，基督將消滅一切率領者、一切掌權者和大能者，把自己的王權交於天主父。 | 24Afterwards the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God and the Father, when he shall have brought to nought all principality, and power, and virtue. |
| 25因為基督必須為王，直到把一切仇敵屈伏在他的腳下。 | 25For he must reign, until he hath put all his enemies under his feet. |
| 26最後被毀滅的仇敵便是死亡； | 26And the enemy death shall be destroyed last: For he hath put all things under his feet. And whereas he saith, |
| 27因為天主使萬物都屈伏在他的腳下。既然說萬物都已屈伏了，顯然那使萬物屈伏於他的不在其內。 | 27All things are put under him; undoubtedly, he is excepted, who put all things under him. |
| 28萬物都屈伏於他以後，子自己也要屈伏於那使萬物屈服於自己的父，好叫天主成為萬物之中的萬有。 | 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then the Son also himself shall be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. |
| 29不然，那些代死人受洗的是作什麼呢？如果死人總不復活，為什麼還代他們受洗呢？ | 29Otherwise what shall they do that are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not again at all? why are they then baptized for them? |
| 30我們又為什麼時時冒險呢？ | 30Why also are we in danger every hour? |
| 31弟兄們，我指着我在我們的主基督耶穌內，對你們所有的榮耀，起誓說：我是天天冒死的。 | 31I die daily, I protest by your glory, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
| 32我若只憑人的動機，當日在厄弗所與野獸搏鬥，為我有什麼益處？如果死人不復活，「我們吃喝罷！明天就要死了。」 | 32If (according to man) I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me, if the dead rise not again? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die. |
| 33你們不可為人所誤：「交結惡友必敗壞善行。」你們當徹底醒悟，別再犯罪了。 | 33Be not seduced: Evil communications corrupt good manners. |
| 34你們中有些人實在不認識天主了：我說這話是為叫你們羞愧。 | 34Awake, ye just, and sin not. For some have not the knowledge of God, I speak it to your shame. |
| 35可是有人要說：死人將怎樣復活呢？他們將帶着什麼樣的身體回來呢？ | 35But some man will say: How do the dead rise again? or with what manner of body shall they come? |
| 36糊塗人哪！你所播的種子若不先死了，決不得生出來； | 36Senseless man, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die first. |
| 37並且你所播種的，並不是那將要生出的形體，而是一顆赤裸的籽粒，譬如一顆麥粒，或者別的種粒； | 37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be; but bare grain, as of wheat, or of some of the rest. |
| 38但天主隨自己的心意給它一個形體，使每個種子各有各的本體。 | 38But God giveth it a body as he will: and to every seed its proper body. |
| 39不是所有的肉體都是同樣的肉體：人體是一樣，獸體又是一樣，鳥體另是一樣，魚體卻又另是一樣。 | 39All flesh is not the same flesh: but one is the flesh of men, another of beasts, another of birds, another of fishes. |
| 40還有天上的物體和地上的物體：天上物體的華麗是一樣，地上物體的華麗又是一樣； | 40And there are bodies celestial, and bodies terrestrial: but, one is the glory of the celestial, and another of the terrestrial. |
| 41太陽的光輝是一樣，月亮的光輝又是一樣，星辰的光輝另是一樣；而且星辰與星辰的光輝又有分別。 | 41One is the glory of the sun, another the glory of the moon, and another the glory of the stars. For star differeth from star in glory. |
| 42死人的復活也是這樣：播種的是可朽壞的，復活起來的是不可朽壞的； | 42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it shall rise in incorruption. |
| 43播種的是可羞辱的，復活起來的是光榮的；播種的是軟弱的，復活起來的是強健的； | 43It is sown in dishonour, it shall rise in glory. It is sown in weakness, it shall rise in power. |
| 44播種的是屬生靈的身體，復活起來的是屬神的身體；既有屬生靈的身體，也就有屬神的身體。 | 44It is sown a natural body, it shall rise a spiritual body. If there be a natural body, there is also a spiritual body, as it is written: |
| 45經上也這樣記載說：「第一個人亞當成了生靈」，最後的亞當成了使人生活的神。 | 45The first man Adam was made into a living soul; the last Adam into a quickening spirit. |
| 46但屬神的不是在先，而是屬生靈的，然後纔是屬神的。 | 46Yet that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; afterwards that which is spiritual. |
| 47第一個人出於地屬於土，第二個人出於天。 | 47The first man was of the earth, earthly: the second man, from heaven, heavenly. |
| 48那屬於土的怎樣，凡屬於土的也怎樣；那屬於天上的怎樣，凡屬於天上的也怎樣。 | 48Such as is the earthly, such also are the earthly: and such as is the heavenly, such also are they that are heavenly. |
| 49我們怎樣帶了那屬於土的肖像，也要怎樣帶那屬於天上的肖像。 | 49Therefore as we have borne the image of the earthly, let us bear also the image of the heavenly. |
| 50弟兄們，我告訴你們：肉和血不能承受天主的國，可朽壞的也不能承受不可朽壞的。 | 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot possess the kingdom of God: neither shall corruption possess incorruption. |
| 51看，我告訴你們一件奧秘的事：我們眾人不全死亡，但我們眾人卻全要改變， | 51Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall all indeed rise again: but we shall not all be changed. |
| 52這是在頃刻眨眼之間，在末次吹號筒時發生的。的確，號筒一響，死人必要復活，成為不朽的，我們也必要改變， | 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise again incorruptible: and we shall be changed. |
| 53因為這可朽壞的，必須穿上不可朽壞的；這可死的，必須穿上不可死的。 | 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption; and this mortal must put on immortality. |
| 54幾時這可朽壞的，穿上了不可朽壞的；這可死的，穿上了不可死的，那時就要應驗經上所記載的這句話：「在勝利中，死亡被吞滅了。」 | 54And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. |
| 55「死亡！你的勝利在那裏？死亡！你的刺在那裏？」 | 55O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? |
| 56死亡的刺就是罪過，罪過的權勢就是法律。 | 56Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law. |
| 57感謝天主賜給了我們因我們的主耶穌基督所獲得的勝利。 | 57But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 58所以，我親愛的弟兄，你們要堅定不移，在主的工程上該時常發憤勉力，因為你們知道，你們的勤勞在主內決不會落空。 | 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable; always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. |
