¹那時，有上主的話傳於哈納尼的兒子耶胡，斥責巴厄沙說：	¹Then the word of the Lord came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasa, saying:
²「我由塵埃中提拔了你，立你做我民以色列的領袖，你卻走了雅洛貝罕的路，使我民以色列犯罪，激怒我；	²Forasmuch as I have exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins:
³現在，我要掃除巴厄沙和他的家族，使他的家如同乃巴特的兒子雅洛貝罕的一家一樣；	³Behold, I will cut down the posterity of Baasa, and the posterity of his house, and I will make thy house as the house of Jeroboam the son of Nabat.
⁴凡屬巴厄沙家的人，死在城中的，必為狗吞食，死在田野間的，必為空中的飛鳥啄食。」	⁴Him that dieth of Baasa in the city, the dogs shall eat: and him that dieth of his in the country, the fowls of the air shall devour.
⁵巴厄沙其餘的事蹟，他所行的事和他的功績，都記載在《以色列列王實錄》上。	⁵But the rest of the acts of Baasa and all that he did, and his battles, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
⁶巴厄沙與列祖同眠，葬在提爾匝；他的兒子厄拉繼位為王。	⁶So Baasa slept with his fathers, and was buried in Thersa: and Ela his son reigned in his stead.
⁷上主藉哈納尼的兒子，先知耶胡傳話斥責巴厄沙和他的家族，是因為他行了許多上主眼中視為惡的事，以自己的作為激怒了上主，如同雅洛貝罕的家一樣；又因為他殺了雅洛貝罕全家。	⁷And when the word of the Lord came in the hand of Jehu the son of Hanani the prophet, against Baasa, and against his house, and against all the evil that he had done before the Lord, to provoke him to anger by the works of his hands, to become as the house of Jeroboam: for this cause he slew him, that is to say, Jehu the son of Hanani, the prophet.
⁸猶大王阿撒二十六年，巴厄沙的兒子厄拉在提爾匝登極作以色列王，在位凡二年。	⁸In the six and twentieth year of Asa king of Juda, Ela the son of Baasa reigned over Israel in Thersa two years.
⁹他的臣僕，即率領他半數戰車的隊長，齊默黎結黨背叛了他。當他在提爾匝，他的家宰阿爾匝家喝醉酒時，	⁹And his servant Zambri, who was captain of half the horsemen, rebelled against him: now Ela was drinking in Thersa, and drunk in the house of Arsa the governor of Thersa.
¹⁰齊默黎衝入，擊殺了他，篡奪了他的王位，時在猶大王阿撒二十七年。	¹⁰And Zambri rushing in, struck him and slew him in the seven and twentieth year of Asa king of Juda, and he reigned in his stead.
¹¹齊默黎一登極，立刻屠殺了巴厄沙全家，沒有給他留下一個男子，連他的親屬朋友都殺了。	¹¹And when he was king and sat upon his throne, he slew all the house of Baasa, and he left not one thereof to piss against a wall, and all his kinsfolks and friends.
¹²齊默黎這樣毀滅了巴厄沙全家，應驗了上主藉先知耶胡斥責巴厄沙所說的話。	¹²And Zambri destroyed all the house of Baasa, according to the word of the Lord, that he had spoken to Baasa in the hand of Jehu the prophet,
¹³這是因為巴厄沙和他的兒子厄拉所犯的一切罪，即引以色列陷於罪惡的罪，因他們製造了虛無偶像，激怒了上主，以色列的天主。	¹³For all the sins of Baasa, and the sins of Ela his son, who sinned, and made Israel to sin, provoking the Lord the God of Israel with their vanities.
¹⁴厄拉其餘的事蹟，他的一切作為，都記載在《以色列列王實錄》上。	¹⁴But the rest of the acts of Ela, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
¹⁵猶大王阿撒二十七年，齊默黎在提爾匝作王僅七天。當時人民正在圍攻培肋舍特人的基貝通，	¹⁵In the seven and twentieth year of Asa king of Juda, Zambri reigned seven days in Thersa: now the army was besieging Gebbethon a city of the Philistines.
¹⁶消息傳到營中說：齊默黎已經叛變，擊殺了君王，全以色列人當天即在營中，選立了軍長敖默黎作以色列王。	¹⁶And when they heard that Zambri had rebelled, and slain the king, all Israel made Amri their king, who was general over Israel in the camp that day.
¹⁷敖默黎和與他在一起的全以色列人，從基貝通上去圍攻提爾匝。	¹⁷And Amri went up, and all Israel with him from Gebbethon, and they besieged Thersa.
¹⁸齊默黎一見城已失陷，即走進王宮的城堡，縱火焚燒王宮，自焚而死。	¹⁸And Zambri seeing that the city was about to be taken, went into the palace and burnt himself with the king's house: and he died
¹⁹這是因為他所犯的罪惡，行了上主視為惡的事，走了雅洛貝罕的路，並以自己所犯的罪，使以色列陷於罪惡。	¹⁹In his sins, which he had sinned, doing evil before the Lord, and walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin, wherewith he made Israel to sin.
²⁰齊默黎其餘的事跡，暗殺叛變的事，都記載在《以色列列王實錄》上。	²⁰But the rest of the acts of Zambri, and of his conspiracy and tyranny, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
²¹那時，以色列人民分裂為二：一半跟隨基納特的兒子提貝尼，要立他為王；一半跟隨敖默黎。	²¹Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: one half of the people followed Thebni the son of Gineth, to make him king: and one half followed Amri.
²²跟隨敖默黎的人勝過了跟隨基納特的兒子提貝尼的人；提貝尼死後，敖默黎便作了王。	²²But the people that were with Amri, prevailed over the people that followed Thebni the son of Gineth: and Thebni died, and Amri reigned.
²³猶大王阿撒三十一年，敖默黎登極作以色列王，在位凡十二年，其中六年在提爾匝。	²³In the one and thirtieth year of Asa king of Juda, Amri reigned over Israel twelve years: in Thersa he reigned six years.
²⁴敖默黎用兩「塔冷通」銀子，由舍默爾手中買下了芍默龍山。他修建了這座山，依照山的原主舍默爾的名字，給他所建築的城起名叫「撒瑪黎雅。」	²⁴And he bought the hill of Samaria of Semer for two talents of silver: and he built upon it, and he called the city which he built Samaria, after the name of Semer the owner of the hill.
²⁵敖默黎行了上主視為惡的事，甚至比他以前的人更為邪惡。	²⁵And Amri did evil in the sight of the Lord, and acted wickedly above all that were before him.
²⁶事事仿效乃巴特的兒子雅洛貝罕所走的路，犯了使以色列陷於罪惡的罪，又敬拜邪神偶像，激怒上主，以色列的天主。	²⁶And he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, and in his sins wherewith he made Israel to sin: to provoke the Lord the God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
²⁷敖默黎其餘的事蹟，他的作為和功蹟，都記載在《以色列列王實錄》上。	²⁷Now the rest of the acts of Amri, and the battles he fought, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
²⁸敖默黎與列祖同眠，葬在撒瑪黎雅；他的兒子阿哈布繼位為王。	²⁸And Amri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria, and Achab his son reigned in his stead.
²⁹猶大王阿撒三十八年，敖默黎的兒子阿哈布登極作以色列王。敖默黎的兒子阿哈布在撒瑪黎雅作以色列王，凡二十二年。	²⁹Now Achab the son of Amri reigned over Israel in the eight and thirtieth year of Asa king of Juda. And Achab the son of Amri reigned over Israel in Samaria two and twenty years.
³⁰敖默黎的兒子阿哈布行了上主視為惡的事，甚於他以前的人。	³⁰And Achab the son of Amri did evil in the sight of the Lord above all that were before him.
³¹他走了乃巴特的兒子雅洛貝罕犯罪的路，尚以為是小事，又娶了漆冬王厄特巴耳的女兒依則貝耳為妻，親自去服事敬拜巴耳，	³¹Nor was it enough for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat: but he also took to wife Jezabel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians. And he went, and served Baal, and adored him.
³²在撒瑪黎雅為巴耳建築了一座廟宇，廟內為巴耳設立了一座祭壇。	³²And he set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal, which he had built in Samaria,
³³阿哈布又立了阿舍辣；阿哈布行事激怒上主，以色列的天主，尤甚於他以前的以色列王。	³³And he planted a grove: and Achab did more to provoke the Lord the God of Israel, than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
³⁴他在位的時候，貝特耳人希耳重建了耶里哥；奠基的時候，死了長子阿彼蘭；安門的時候，死了幼子色古布：這正應驗了上主藉農的兒子若蘇厄所說的話。	³⁴In his days Hiel of Bethel built Jericho: in Abiram his firstborn he laid its foundations: and in his youngest son Segub he set up the gates thereof: according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke in the hand of Josue the son of Nun.
