¹默納舍登極時纔十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王五十五年，他的母親名叫赫斐漆巴。	¹Manasses was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned five and fifty years in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Haphsiba.
²他行了上主視為惡的事，仿效上主從以色列子民前所驅逐的異民所行的可恥之事，	²And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, according to the idols of the nations, which the Lord destroyed from before the face of the children of Israel.
³重建了他父親希則克雅所拆毀的高丘，為巴耳建立了祭壇，製造了木偶，像以色列王阿哈布所作的一樣，且崇拜敬奉天上的萬象，	³And he turned, and built up the high places which Ezechias his father had destroyed: and he set up altars to Baal, and made groves, as Achab the king of Israel had done: and he adored all the host of heaven, and served them.
⁴雖然上主曾指着聖殿說過：「我要將我旳名立在耶路撒冷。」但他仍在上主的殿內建立了一些祭壇，	⁴And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord said: In Jerusalem I will put my name.
⁵又在上主殿宇的兩庭院內，為天上萬象建立了祭壇；	⁵And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the temple of the Lord.
⁶使自己的兒子經火獻神，行占卜邪術，立招魂師和術士，不斷行上主視為惡的事，惹上主發怒。	⁶And he made his son pass through fire: and he used divination, and observed omens, and appointed pythons, and multiplied soothsayers to do evil before the Lord, and to provoke him.
⁷他又將自己製造的阿舍辣彫像，安放在上主的殿內，雖然上主論及這殿曾對達味和他的兒子撒羅滿說：「我要在這殿內，和我在以色列各支派所選出的耶路撒冷立我的名，直到永遠；	⁷He set also an idol of the grove, which he had made, in the temple of the Lord: concerning which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son: In this temple, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name for ever.
⁸只要以色列謹守遵行我所吩咐他們的一切，及我僕人梅瑟所吩咐他們的一切法律，我決不再使以色列人的腳，離開我賜與他們祖先的土地。」	⁸And I will no more make the feet of Israel to be moved out of the land, which I gave to their fathers: only if they will observe to do all that I have commanded them according to the law which my servant Moses commanded them.
⁹但是，他們卻不聽從，甚至默納舍誘惑他們行惡，甚於上主由以色列子民前所消滅的那些民族。	⁹But they hearkened not: but were seduced by Manasses, to do evil more than the nations which the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.
¹⁰為此，上主藉他的僕人先知警告說：	¹⁰And the Lord spoke in the hand of his servants, the prophets, saying:
¹¹「因為猶大王默納舍行了這些可恥的事，甚於他以前的阿摩黎人所行的，以自己的神像引猶大犯罪。	¹¹Because Manasses king of Juda hath done these most wicked abominations, beyond all that the Amorrhites did before him, and hath made Juda also to sin with his filthy doings:
¹²所以上主以色列的天主這樣說：看，我要使這樣的災禍降在耶路撒冷和猶大，使聽見的人兩耳都要齊鳴。	¹²Therefore thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: Behold I will bring on evils upon Jerusalem and Juda: that whosoever shall hear of them, both his ears shall tingle.
¹³我要用測量撒瑪黎雅的繩索，和測量阿哈布家的鉛錘，來測量耶路撒冷，要擦淨耶路撒冷如同人擦淨盤子一樣，擦淨之後，就翻過來；	¹³And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the weight of the house of Achab: and I will efface Jerusalem, as tables are wont to be effaced, and I will erase and turn it, and draw the pencil often over the face thereof.
¹⁴我要拋棄作我產業的遺民，將他們交於敵人手中，使他們成為一切敵人的掠物和勝利品。	¹⁴And I will leave the remnants of my inheritance, and will deliver them into the hands of their enemies: and they shall become a prey, and a spoil to all their enemies.
¹⁵因為他們自從他們的祖先出離埃及那一天起，直到今日，行了我視為惡的事，使我發怒。」	¹⁵Because they have done evil before me, and have continued to provoke me, from the day that their fathers came out of Egypt, even unto this day.
¹⁶默納舍除了使猶大陷於罪惡，行了上主視為惡的事以外，還流了許多無辜者的血，使耶路撒冷血流成河，從這邊流到那邊。	¹⁶Moreover Manasses shed also very much innocent blood, till he filled Jerusalem up to the mouth: besides his sins, wherewith he made Juda to sin, to do evil before the Lord.
¹⁷默納舍其餘的事蹟，他行的一切，所犯的罪惡，都記載在《猶大列王實錄》上。	¹⁷Now the rest of the acts of Manasses, and all that he did, and his sin which he sinned, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?
¹⁸默納舍與他的列祖同眠，埋葬在王宮花園，即烏匝花園裏；他的兒子阿孟繼位為王。	¹⁸And Manasses slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Oza: and Amen his son reigned in his stead.
¹⁹阿孟登極時，年二十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王兩年；他的母親名叫默叔肋默特，是約特巴人哈魯茲的女兒。	¹⁹Two and twenty years old was Amen when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Messalemeth the daughter of Harus of Jeteba.
²⁰他行了上主視為惡的事。全像他父親默納舍所行的一樣；	²⁰And he did evil in the sight, of the Lord, as Manasses his father had done.
²¹走了他父親所走的路，事奉敬拜了他父親所事奉的偶像，	²¹And he walked in all the way in which his father had walked: and he served the abominations which his father had served, and he adored them;
²²離棄了上主他祖先的天主，未隨上主的道路。	²²And forsook the Lord the God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
²³阿孟的臣僕共謀造反，在宮內將君王殺了；	²³And his servants plotted against him, and slew the king in his own house.
²⁴但地方上的人民起來，殺了所有反叛阿孟王的人，立了他的兒子約史雅繼位為王。	²⁴But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amen: and made Josias his son their king in his stead.
²⁵阿孟所作的其他事蹟，都記載在《猶大列王實錄》上。	²⁵But the rest of the acts of Amen which he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?
²⁶他也葬在烏匝花園內自己的墳墓裏；他的兒子約史雅繼位為王。	²⁶And they buried him in his sepulchre in the garden of Oza: and his son Josias reigned in his stead.
