¹漆德克雅為王九年十月十日，巴比倫王拿步高率領全軍前來進攻耶路撒冷，扎營圍城，在城四週建築了壁壘，	¹And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, the tenth day of the month, that Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon came, he and all his army against Jerusalem: and they surrounded it: and raised works round about it.
²圍攻京城，直到漆德克雅為王十一年。	²And the city was shut up and besieged till the eleventh year of king Sedecias,
³是年四月九日，城中發生了嚴重的飢荒，當地人民已沒有食糧，	³The ninth day of the month: and a famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
⁴京城遂被攻破。加色丁人還在圍攻城時，君王和全體士兵，夜間出了靠近御苑的雙墻城門，逃往阿辣巴。	⁴And a breach was made into the city: and all the men of war fled in the night between the two walls by the king's garden, (now the Chaldees besieged the city round about,) and Sedecias fled by the way that leadeth to the plains of the wilderness.
⁵加色丁軍隊便追趕君王，在耶里哥曠野追上了；此時他的軍隊都已離開他逃散了。	⁵And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all the warriors that were with him were scattered, and left him:
⁶加色丁軍隊擒獲了君王，帶他到黎貝拉去見巴比倫王。巴比倫王就宣判他的罪案，	⁶So they took the king, and brought him to the king of Babylon to Reblatha, and he gave judgment upon him.
⁷且在漆德克雅眼前殺了他的兒子，也剜了他的眼，給他帶上鎖鏈，送往巴比倫去。	⁷And he slew the sons of Sedecias before his face, and he put out his eyes, and bound him with chains, and brought him to Babylon.
⁸巴比倫王拿步高為王十九年五月七日，巴比倫王的大臣，衛隊長乃步匝辣當來到了耶路撒冷，	⁸In the fifth month, the seventh day of the month, that is, the nineteenth year of the king of Babylon, came Nabuzardan commander of the army, a servant of the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem.
⁹燒毀了上主的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷所有的民房；凡是高大的建築都用火燒了。	⁹And he burnt the house of the Lord, and the king's house, and the houses of Jerusalem, and every house he burnt with fire.
¹⁰跟隨衛隊長的所有加色丁軍隊，拆毀了耶路撒冷周圍的城牆。	¹⁰And all the army of the Chaldees, which was with the commander of the troops, broke down the walls of Jerusalem round about.
¹¹城中剩下的人民和已投降巴比倫王的人，以及其餘的平民，衛隊長乃步匝辣當都擄了去，	¹¹And Nabuzardan the commander of the army, carried away the rest of the people that remained in the city, and the fugitives that had gone over to the king of Babylon, and the remnant of the common people.
¹²只留下當地一部分最窮的平民作園丁和農夫。	¹²But of the poor of the land he left some dressers of vines and husbandmen.
¹³加色丁人又將上主殿前的銅柱，和上主殿內的銅座、銅海都打碎，把銅運往巴比倫；	¹³And the pillars of brass that were in the temple of the Lord, and the bases, and the sea of brass which was in the house of the Lord, the Chaldees broke in pieces, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
¹⁴此外，鍋、鏟、蠟剪、香盤，以及行禮的一切銅器，全都帶走；	¹⁴They took away also the pots of brass, and the mazers, and the forks, and the cups, and the mortars, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered.
¹⁵提爐、杯爵，凡是純金純銀的，衛隊長都拿走了。	¹⁵Moreover also the censers, and the bowls, such as were of gold in gold, and such as were of silver in silver, the general of the army took away.
¹⁶撒羅滿為上主的殿所製造的兩根柱子，一個銅海和一些盆座，這一切器皿所用的銅，重量無法估計。	¹⁶That is, two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made in the temple of the Lord: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
¹⁷一根柱子高十八肘，上端有銅柱頭，高五肘，柱頭四周有網子和石榴，全是銅的；另一根柱子相同，也有網子。	¹⁷One pillar was eighteen cubits high, and the chapiter of brass which was upon it was three cubits high: and the network, and the pomegranates that were upon the chapiter of the pillar, were all of brass: and the second pillar had the like adorning.
¹⁸衛隊長又擒獲了大司祭色辣雅、副大司祭責法尼雅和三個門丁；	¹⁸And the general of the army took Seraias the chief priest, and Sophonias the second priest, and three doorkeepers.
¹⁹由城中擄去了一個管理軍隊的宦官，五個在城內搜到的君王的親信，一個徵募當地人民的軍長的書記，和城中搜到的六十個當地平民。	¹⁹And out of the city one eunuch, who was captain over the men of war: and five men of them that had stood before the king, whom he found in the city, and Sopher the captain of the army who exercised the young soldiers of the people of the land: and threescore men of the common people, who were found in the city.
²⁰衛隊長乃步匝辣當捉住他們，帶到黎貝拉去見巴比倫王；	²⁰These Nabuzardan the general of the army took away, and carried them to the king of Babylon to Reblatha.
²¹巴比倫王就在哈瑪特地的黎貝拉將他們殺了；從此，猶大人由本鄉被擄去充軍。	²¹And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Reblatha in the land of Emath: so Juda was carried away out of their land.
²²巴比倫王拿步高對留在猶大地內的人民，派定了沙番的孫子，阿希甘的兒子革達里雅作他們的首長。	²²But over the people that remained in the land of Juda, which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon had left, he gave the government to Godolias the son of Ahicam the son of Saphan.
²³眾軍長和他們的士兵一聽說巴比倫王委派了革達里雅為首長，乃塔尼雅的兒子依市瑪耳，卡勒亞的兒子約哈南，乃托法人堂胡默特的兒子色辣雅，瑪阿加人的兒子雅匝尼雅和他們的士兵，就都來到米茲帕見革達里雅。	²³And when all the captains of the soldiers had heard this, they and the men that were with them, to wit, that the king of Babylon had made Godolias governor, they came to Godolias to Maspha, Ismael the son of Nathanias, and Johanan the son of Caree, and Saraia the son of Thanehumeth the Netophathite, and Jezonias the son of Maachathi, they and their men.
²⁴革達里雅遂對他們和他們的士兵起誓說：「你們不要害怕加色丁人的臣僕，安心住在此地，服事巴比倫王，就必能相安無事。」	²⁴And Godolias swore to them and to their men, saying: Be not afraid to serve the Chaldees: stay in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.
²⁵但是，到了七月，王家的後裔厄里沙瑪的孫子，乃塔尼雅的兒子依市瑪耳帶了十個人前來，殺了革達里雅，和與他同在米茲帕的猶大人及加色丁人。	²⁵But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ismael the son of Nathanias, the son of Elisama of the seed royal came, and ten men with him: and smote Godolias so that he died: and also the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him in Maspha.
²⁶於是所有的人民，不分貴賤大小和眾軍長，因為害怕加色丁人，都起身逃往埃及去了。	²⁶And all the people both little and great, and the captains of the soldiers, rising up went to Egypt, fearing the Chaldees.
²⁷猶大王耶苛尼雅被擄後第三十七年十二月二十七日，巴比倫王厄威耳默洛達客在他登極元年，大赦猶大王耶苛尼雅，放他出獄，	²⁷And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Joachin king of Juda, in the twelfth month the seven and twentieth day of the month: Evilmerodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, lifted up the head of Joachin king of Juda out of prison.
²⁸親切與他交談，令他坐在與他一同在巴比倫的眾王之上。	²⁸And he spoke kindly to him: and he set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon.
²⁹耶苛尼雅脫去囚服，以後一生日日與王共進飲食。	²⁹And he changed his garments which he had in prison, and he ate bread always before him, all the days of his life.
³⁰他的生活費用，在他有生之日，每天不斷由巴比倫王供應。	³⁰And he appointed him a continual allowance, which was also given him by the king day by day, all the days of his life.
