| 1那時保佑你國家子民的偉大護守天使彌額爾必要起來；那將是一個災難的時期，是自開國以來，直到那時從未有過的；那時，你的人民，凡是名錄在那書上的，都必得救。 | 1But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people: and a time shall come such as never was from the time that nations began even until that time. And at that time shall thy people be saved, every one that shall be found written in the book. |
| 2許多長眠於塵土中的人，要醒起來：有的要入於永生，有的要永遠蒙羞受辱。 | 2And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always. |
| 3賢明之士要發光有如穹蒼的光輝；那些引導多人歸於正義的人，要永遠發光如同星辰。 | 3But they that are learned shall shine as the brightness of the firmament: and they that instruct many to justice, as stars for all eternity. |
| 4至於你，達尼爾！你要隱藏這些話，密封這部書，直到末期；將有許多人要探討，因而智識必要增長。 | 4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time appointed: many shall pass over, and knowledge shall be manifold. |
| 5那時我達尼爾觀望：看見另有兩位天使，一位站在河岸這邊，一位站在河岸那邊。 | 5And I Daniel looked, and behold as it were two others stood: one on this side upon the bank of the river, and another on that side, on the other bank of the river. |
| 6我就問那身穿細麻衣，站在河水上的人說：「幾時這些奇事纔會實現呢？」 | 6And I said to the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? |
| 7我聽見那身穿細麻衣，站在河水上的人向天舉起左手及右手，指着永生者起誓說：「的確，這事必須經過一段時期，另兩段時期和半段時期：直到摧殘聖民的勢力終止時，這一切事纔要實現。」 | 7And I heard the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: when he had lifted up his right hand, and his left hand to heaven, and had sworn, by him that liveth for ever, that it should be unto a time, and times, and half a time. And when the scattering of the band of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished. |
| 8我聽了以後，仍不明白，便問說：「我主！這些事的結局究竟怎樣？」 | 8And I heard, and understood not. And I said: O my lord, what shall be after these things? |
| 9他回答說：「達尼爾，你去罷！因為這些事隱藏密封，直到末期。 | 9And he said: Go, Daniel, because the words are shut up, and sealed until the appointed time. |
| 10將有許多人要使自己純潔清白，並受鍛鍊，而惡人卻要更加作惡；凡作惡的人不能明白，惟有賢明之士纔能明白。 | 10Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand. |
| 11自從廢棄日常祭，設立那招致荒涼的可憎之物的時候起，必要經歷一千二百九十天。 | 11And from the time when the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination unto desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days, |
| 12凡能守候直到一千三百三十五天的，是有福的。 | 12Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh unto a thousand three hundred thirty-five days. |
| 13你應去等候末期，好好安息罷！到末日，你要起來接受你的福分。」 | 13But go thou thy ways until the time appointed: and thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot unto the end of the days. |
