| 1這是你們在上主你祖先的天主賜給你作產業的地上，當遵守奉行的法令和規則；你們幾時生活在那地，就應日日遵守。 | 1These are the precepts and judgments, that you must do in the land, which the Lord the God of thy fathers will give thee, to possess it all the days that thou shalt walk upon the earth. |
| 2凡你們去征服的民族供奉神祇的地方，無論在高山上，或在丘陵上，或在任何綠樹下，都應加以破壞： | 2Destroy all the places in which the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods upon high mountains, and hills, and under every shady tree: |
| 3拆毀他們的祭壇，打碎他們的石碣，燒毀他們的神柱，砍倒他們神祇的雕像，將他們的名字由那地方完全消除。 | 3Overthrow their altars, and break down their statues, burn their groves with fire, and break their idols in pieces: destroy their names out of those places. |
| 4你們不可像他們那樣崇拜上主你們的天主。 | 4You shall not do so to the Lord your God: |
| 5上主你們的天主，將由你們各支派中選擇一個地方，為立自己的名號，為做自己的住所，你們只可到那裏去尋求他， | 5But you shall come to the place, which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, and to dwell in it: |
| 6在那裏奉獻你們的全燔祭、祭獻、什一之物、獻儀、還願祭、自願祭，以及首生的牛羊； | 6And you shall offer in that place your holocausts and victims, the tithes and firstfruits of your hands and your vows and gifts, the firstborn of your herds and your sheep. |
| 7在那裏你們和你們的家屬，應在上主你們的天主面前宴會歡樂，因為上主你們的天主祝福了你們的一切事業。 | 7And you shall eat there in the sight of the Lord your God: and you shall rejoice in all things, whereunto you shall put your hand, you and your houses wherein the Lord your God hath blessed you. |
| 8你們不要照我們今日在這裏所行的，各行其是， | 8You shall not do there the things we do here this day, every man that which seemeth good to himself. |
| 9因為你們至今還沒有到安居之地，還沒有到上主你的天主賜給你為業的地方。 | 9For until this present time you are not come to refit, and to the possession, which the Lord your God will give you. |
| 10但是，當你們過了約但河，住在上主你們的天主賜給你們為業的地方，脫免了四周的仇敵，安居樂業時， | 10You shall pass over the Jordan, and shall dwell in the land which the Lord your God will give you, that you may have rest from all enemies round about: and may dwell without any fear, |
| 11你們應在上主你們的天主所選定為立自己名號的地方，奉獻我所吩咐的一切：即你們的全燔祭、獻祭、什一之物、獻儀，以及一切向上主許願應獻的禮品； | 11In the place, which the Lord your God shall choose, that his name may be therein. Thither shall you bring all the things that I command you, holocausts, and victims, and tithes, and the firstfruits of your hands: and whatsoever is the choicest in the gifts which you shall vow to the Lord. |
| 12你們和你們的兒女、僕婢，以及在你們城鎮裏的肋未人，都應在上主你們的天主面前一同歡樂，因為肋未人沒有在你們中分得產業。 | 12There shall you feast before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your menservants and maid-servants, and the Levite that dwelleth in your cities. For he hath no other part and possession among you. |
| 13你應小心，不可在你所見的任何地方奉獻你的全燔祭； | 13Beware lest thou offer thy holocausts in every place that thou shalt see: |
| 14只可在上主由你一支派中所選定的地方，奉獻你的全燔祭，行我所規定的一切。 | 14But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes shalt thou offer sacrifices. and shalt do all that I command thee. |
| 15但是你可在各城鎮內，依照上主你的天主所賜與你的祝福，隨意殺牲食肉；不潔和潔淨的，人都可以吃，如吃羚羊和鹿肉一樣； | 15But if thou desirest to eat, and the eating of flesh delight thee, kill, and eat according to the blessing of the Lord thy God, which he hath given thee, in thy cities: whether it be unclean, that is to say, having blemish or defect: or clean, that is to say, sound and without blemish, such as may be offered, as the roe, and the hart, shalt thou eat it: |
| 16只有血，你們不可以吃，你應將血如水一樣潑在地上。 | 16Only the blood thou shalt not eat, but thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water. |
| 17你所收的五穀、酒、油的十分之一，你的頭胎牛羊，你許願獻的供物，或自願獻的供物以及你手中的獻儀，都不可在你的城鎮內吃， | 17Thou mayst not eat in thy towns the tithes of thy corn, and thy wine, and thy oil, the firstborn of thy herds and thy cattle, nor any thing that thou vowest, and that thou wilt offer voluntarily, and the firstfruits of thy hands: |
| 18只可在上主你的天主面前，在上主你的天主選定的地方，你和你的兒女、僕婢，以及在你城鎮內的肋未人一起吃；在上主你的天主面前，為了你的一切事業而歡樂。 | 18But thou shalt eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou and thy son and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and maidservant, and the Levite that dwelleth in thy cities: and thou shalt rejoice and be refreshed before the Lord thy God in all things, whereunto thou shalt put thy hand. |
| 19你要留意，在你的地域內，永不可忘記肋未人。 | 19Take heed thou forsake not the Levite all the time that thou livest in the land. |
| 20當上主你的天主，照他對你所許的，擴展了你的疆域時，你若說：『我想吃肉。』，你既然想吃肉，你可以任意吃肉。 | 20When the Lord thy God shall have enlarged thy borders, as he hath spoken to thee, and thou wilt eat the flesh that thy soul desireth: |
| 21若上主你的天主選定建立自己名號的地方離你太遠，你可照我吩咐你的，宰殺上主賜給你的牛羊，在你的城鎮內任意吃， | 21And if the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name should be there, be far off, thou shalt kill of thy herds and of thy flocks, as I have commanded thee, and shalt eat in thy towns, as it pleaseth thee. |
| 22全如吃羚羊和鹿肉一樣；不潔和潔淨的，人都可以一起吃。 | 22Even as the roe and the hart is eaten, so shalt thou eat them: both the clean and unclean shall eat of them alike. |
| 23但應記住：不可吃血，因為血是生命，你不可將生命與肉一起吃。 | 23Only beware of this, that thou eat not the blood, for the blood is for the soul: and therefore thou must not eat the soul with the flesh: |
| 24你不可吃血，應將血如水一樣潑在地上。 | 24But thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water, |
| 25你不要吃血，好使你和你的後代子孫能享幸福，因為你行了上主眼中視為正直的事。 | 25That it may be well with thee and thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is pleasing in the sight of the Lord. |
| 26至於你所獻的聖物和許願的祭品，應帶到上主所揀選的地方去； | 26But the things which thou hast sanctified and vowed to the Lord, thou shalt take, and shalt come to the place which the Lord shall choose: |
| 27將你的全燔祭、肉和血全獻在上主你的天主的祭壇上；至於其他的祭獻，應將血倒在上主你的天主的祭壇上，肉可以吃。 | 27And shalt offer thy oblations the flesh and the blood upon the altar of the Lord thy God: the blood of thy victims thou shalt pour on the altar: and the flesh thou thyself shalt eat. |
| 28你應謹慎聽從我吩咐你的這一切事，好使你和你的後代子孫永遠享福，因為你行了上主你的天主眼中視為善良和正直的事。 | 28Observe and hear all the things that I command thee, that it may be well with thee and thy children after thee for ever, when thou shalt do what is good and pleasing in the sight of the Lord thy God. |
| 29當上主你的天主，將你所要進佔之地的民族，由你面前剷除，而你佔領了他們的地方，住在那裏的時候， | 29When the Lord thy God shall have destroyed before thy face the nations, which then shalt go in to possess, and when thou shalt possess them, and dwell in their land: |
| 30你應小心，不要在他們由你面前消滅以後，你自己反受迷惑，去仿傚他們；也不要探究他們的神說：『這些民族怎樣事奉了他們的神，我也要怎樣去做。』 | 30Beware lest thou imitate them, after they are destroyed at thy coming in, and lest thou seek after their ceremonies, saying: As these nations have worshipped their gods, so will I also worship. |
| 31對上主你的天主，你不可這樣做，因為凡上主所憎恨的可惡之事，他們對自己的神都做了；甚至為自己的神，用火焚燒了自己的子女。 | 31Thou shalt not do in like manner to the Lord thy God. For they have done to their gods all the abominations which the Lord abhorreth, offering their sons and daughters, and burning them with fire. |
| 32 | 32What I command thee, that only do thou to the Lord: neither add any thing, nor diminish. |
