| 1你們是上主你們天主的兒女。你們不應為死者割傷自己，不應將頭頂剃光， | 1Be ye children of the Lord your God: you shall not cut yourselves, no, make any baldness for the dead; |
| 2因為你是屬於上主你天主的聖潔人民，上主由地上的萬民中，特選了你做他自己的人民。 | 2Because thou art a holy people to the Lord thy God: and he chose thee to be his peculiar people of all nations that are upon the earth. |
| 3凡是可憎惡之物，你不可吃。 | 3Eat not the things that are unclean. |
| 4你們可吃的走獸如下：牛、綿羊、山羊、 | 4These are the beasts that you shall eat, the ox, and the sheep, and the goat, |
| 5鹿、羚羊、黇鹿、野山羊、臆羚、野牛和野羊。 | 5The hart and the roe, the buffle, the chamois, the pygarg, the wild goat, the camelopardalus. |
| 6走獸中，凡有偶蹄分趾而又反芻的走獸，你們都可以吃。 | 6Every beast that divideth the hoof in two parts, and cheweth the cud, you shall eat. |
| 7但是在反芻或有偶蹄分趾的走獸中，你們不可吃的：有駱駝、兔子和岩狸，因為牠們雖反芻，蹄卻不分趾，對你們仍是不潔的。 | 7But of them that chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, you shall not eat, such as the camel, the hare, and the cherogril: because they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, they shall be unclean to you. |
| 8至於豬，雖有偶蹄，卻不反芻，對你們也是不潔的；你們不可吃這些走獸的肉，也不可摸牠們的屍體。 | 8The swine also, because it divideth the hoof, but cheweth not the cud, shall be unclean, their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. |
| 9水族中你們可吃的如下：凡有鰭有鱗的，都可以吃； | 9These shall you eat of all that abide in the waters: All that have fins and scales, you shall eat. |
| 10凡無鰭無鱗的，都不可吃；這一切對你們都是不潔的。 | 10Such as are without fins and scales, you shall not eat, because they are unclean. |
| 11凡是潔淨的飛禽，都可以吃。 | 11All birds that are clean you shall eat. |
| 12飛禽中不可吃的：有鷹、鶚、禿鷲、 | 12The unclean eat not: to wit, the eagle, and the grype, and the osprey, |
| 13鳶隼、鵰類， | 13The ringtail, and the vulture, and the kite according to their kind: |
| 14凡烏鴉之類， | 14And all of the raven's kind: |
| 15駝鳥、夜鷹、海鷗，凡蒼鷹之類， | 15And the ostrich, and the owl, and the larus, and the hawk according to its kind: |
| 16小梟、鴟梟、白鷺、 | 16The heron, and the swan, and the stork, |
| 17塘鵝、鴇、鸕鶿、 | 17And the cormorant, the porphyrion, and the night crow, |
| 18鸛鷺類、戴勝和蝙蝠。 | 18The bittern, and the charadrion, every one in their kind: the hoop also and the bat. |
| 19凡有翅的昆虫，對你們都是不潔的，都不可吃。 | 19Every thing that creepeth, and hath little wings, shall be unclean, and shall not be eaten. |
| 20凡潔淨的飛禽，都可以吃。 | 20All that is clean, you shall eat. |
| 21凡自死的動物，你們不可吃，卻可送給在你城內的外方人吃，或賣給外邦人，因為你是屬於上主你天主的聖潔人民。不可煮羊羔在其母奶之中。 | 21But whatsoever is dead of itself, eat not thereof. Give it to the stranger, that is within thy gates, to eat, or sell it to him: because thou art the holy people of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in the milk of his dam. |
| 22你每年在田地內播種所得的出產，應繳納十分之一。 | 22Every year thou shalt set aside the tithes of all thy fruits that the earth bringeth forth, |
| 23你應在上主選定為立自己名號的地方，於上主你的天主面前，吃那五穀、酒、油的十分之一，及你的頭胎牛羊，好使你能學習着常敬畏上主你的天主。 | 23And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, that his name may be called upon therein, the tithe of thy corn, and thy wine, and thy oil, and the firstborn of thy herds and thy sheep: that thou mayst learn to fear the Lord thy God at all times. |
| 24如果為你路途太遠，你不能把十分之一之物運去，因為上主你的天主選定為立自己名號的地方離你太遠，那麼若上主你的天主祝福了你， | 24But when the way and the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, are far off, and he hath blessed thee, and thou canst not carry all these things thither, |
| 25你可以把物品換成銀錢，手中帶着銀錢，往上主你的天主所選的地方去， | 25Thou shalt sell them all, and turn them into money, and shalt carry it in thy hand, and shalt go to the place which the Lord shall choose: |
| 26在那裏可隨意用銀錢買牛羊、清酒和濃酒，以及你願意要的，在上主你的天主面前吃喝，與你的家屬一同歡樂； | 26And thou shalt buy with the same money whatsoever pleaseth thee, either of the herds or of sheep, wine also and strong drink, and all that thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, and shalt feast, thou and thy house: |
| 27但在你城內的肋未人，你不可忘記，因為他在你中間沒有分得產業。 | 27And the Levite that is within thy gates, beware thou forsake him not, because he hath no other part in thy possession. |
| 28每過三年，你應取出全部出產的十分之一，儲藏在你城鎮內， | 28The third year thou shalt separate another tithe of all things that grow to thee at that time, and shalt lay it up within thy gates. |
| 29那沒有與你分得產業的肋未人，和在你城鎮內的外方人、孤兒、寡婦都可來吃喝，得享飽飫，好叫上主你的天主，在你所做的一切事業上祝福你。 | 29And the Levite that hath no other part nor possession with thee, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, that are within thy gates, shall come and shall eat and be filled: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the works of thy hands that thou shalt do. |
