| 1這是天主的人梅瑟，死前賜予以色列子民的祝福。 | 1This is the blessing, wherewith the man of God Moses blessed the children of Israel, before his death. |
| 2他說：「上主由西乃而來，從色依爾光照他的百姓，由帕蘭山射出光輝，從卡德士的默黎巴前進，由他的右邊有烈火發出。 | 2And he said: The Lord came from Sinai, and from Seir he rose up to us: he hath appeared from mount Pharan, and with him thousands of saints. In his right hand a fiery law. |
| 3你實在愛你的人民，眾聖者都在你手中；他們俯伏在你腳前，領受你的教導。 | 3He hath loved the people, all the saints are in his hand: and they that approach to his feet, shall receive of his doctrine. |
| 4梅瑟給我們立定法律，作為雅各伯會眾的產業時， | 4Moses commanded us a law, the inheritance of the multitude of Jacob. |
| 5人民的首領與以色列支派會合時，上主在耶叔戎中作了王。 | 5He shall be king with the most right, the princes of the people being assembled with the tribes of Israel. |
| 6願勒烏本生存，不至滅亡！願他的人數不再減少！」 | 6Let Ruben live, and not die, and be he small in number. |
| 7他論及猶大這樣說：「上主！願你俯聽猶大的聲音，領他重歸自己的民族；以你的手為他交戰，協助他抵抗他的仇敵！」 | 7This is the blessing of Juda. Hear, O Lord, the voice of Juda, and bring him in unto his people: his hands shall fight for him, and he shall be his helper against his enemies. |
| 8論及肋未說：「願你將你的『突明』賜給肋未，將你的『烏陵』，賜給對你虔誠的人，就是你在瑪撒曾試探過，在默黎巴水旁曾考驗過的人， | 8To Levi also he said: Thy perfection, and thy doctrine be to thy holy man, whom thou hast proved in the temptation, and judged at the waters of contradiction: |
| 9也就是那些論及自己的父母說：我沒有顧及他們，對自己的兄弟不加重視，對自己的子女也漠不關心的人！他們只遵守你的話，持守你的盟約。 | 9Who hath said to his father, and to his mother: I do not know you; and to his brethren: I know you not: and their own children they have not known. These have kept thy word, and observed thy covenant, |
| 10他們要將你的誡命教給雅各伯，將你的法律授給以色列；在你面前獻上馨香，在祭壇上獻上全燔祭。 | 10Thy judgments, O Jacob, and thy law, O Israel: they shall put incense in thy wrath and holocaust upon thy altar. |
| 11上主！願你祝福他的勇力，悅納他手中的作為；對反抗他的人，願你打斷他們的腰，使惱恨他的人，再也不得起立！」 | 11Bless, O Lord, his strength, and receive the works of his hands. Strike the backs of his enemies, and let not them that hate him rise. |
| 12論及本雅明說：「上主所鍾愛的，他必安居樂業；至高者日日庇護他，住在他兩肩之間。」 | 12And to Benjamin he said: The best beloved of the Lord shall dwell confidently in him: as in a bride chamber shall he abide all the day long, and between his shoulders shall be rest. |
| 13論及若瑟說：「願他的地蒙受上主的祝福！願天上甘露，地下深藏的淵泉， | 13To Joseph also he said: Of the blessing of the Lord be his land, of the fruits of heaven, and of the dew, and of the deep that lieth beneath. |
| 14因太陽而出產的美果，靠月亮而出產的寶物， | 14Of the fruits brought forth by the sun and by the moon. |
| 15太古山岳的珍品，永恆丘陵的美物， | 15Of the tops of the ancient mountains, of the fruits of the everlasting hills: |
| 16地上的寶物及其富藏，以及住在荊棘叢中者的恩惠，都臨到若瑟頭上，降在兄弟中為首者的頭頂上！ | 16And of the fruits of the earth, and of the fulness thereof. The blessing of him that appeared in the bush, come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the Nazarite among his brethren. |
| 17他的健壯有如頭胎的公牛，他的雙角像是野牛的雙角，用以抵觸萬民，直到地極。這是厄弗辣因的萬軍，即是默納協的勁旅。」 | 17His beauty as of the firstling of a bullock, his horns as the horns of a rhinoceros: with them shall he push the nations even to the ends of the earth These are the multitudes of Ephraim and these the thousands of Manasses. |
| 18論及則步隆說：「則步隆！你要在旅途中喜樂；至於你、依撒加爾！你要在帳幕內歡樂。 | 18And to Zabulon he said: Rejoice, O Zabulon, in thy going out; and Issachar in thy tabernacles. |
| 19他們要邀請人民上山，在那裏奉獻應獻的祭祀，因為他們要吸收海洋的富饒，沙中潛藏的珠寶。」 | 19They shall call the people to the mountain: there shall they sacrifice the victims of justice. Who shall suck as milk the abundance of the sea, and the hidden treasures of the sands. |
| 20論及加得說：「那使加得擴張的，應受讚美！他臥下彷彿一隻母獅，撕裂了人的手臂和頭顱。 | 20And to Gad he said: Blessed be Gad in his breadth: he hath rested as a lion, and hath seized upon the arm and the top of the head. |
| 21他為自己選取了為首的一分，因為那原是為首領保留的一分。他走在人民之前，執行了上主的法令，和他對以色列的旨意。」 | 21And he saw his pre-eminence, that in his portion the teacher was laid up: who was with the princes of the people, and did the justices of the Lord, and his judgment with Israel. |
| 22論及丹說：「丹好似由巴商跳出的幼獅。」 | 22To Dan also he said: Dan is a young lion, he shall flow plentifully from Basan. |
| 23論及納斐塔里說：「納斐塔里，飽享恩愛，充滿上主的祝福，海和南部將是他的產業。」 | 23And to Nephtali he said: Nephtali shall enjoy abundance, and shall be full of the blessings of the Lord: he shall possess the sea and the south. |
| 24論及阿協爾說：「眾子中最受祝福的是阿協爾；願他獲得兄弟的恩待，在油中洗腳！ | 24To Aser also he said: Let Aser be blessed with children, let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. |
| 25願你有銅鐵的門閂；願你一生獲享安寧！」 | 25His shoe shall be iron and brass. As the days of thy youth, so also shall thy old age be. |
| 26沒有一個像耶叔戎的天主的，他騰空駕雲，在威嚴中來援助你。 | 26There is no other God like the God of the rightest: he that is mounted upon the heaven is thy helper. By his magnificence the clouds run hither and thither. |
| 27亙古的天主是你的避難所，他永遠的手臂是你的支柱；他由你面前驅走了敵人，是他向你下命說：毀滅罷！ | 27His dwelling is above, and underneath are the everlasting arms: he shall cast out the enemy from before thee, and shall say: Be thou brought to nought. |
| 28因此，以色列能以安居樂業，雅各伯的後裔定居在產糧出酒之地，天也從上降下甘露。 | 28Israel shall dwell in safety, and alone. The eye of Jacob in a land of corn and wine, and the heavens shall be misty with dew. |
| 29以色列，你真是有福的；為上主所拯救的人民，有誰相似你？他是你護身的盾牌，是使你勝利的刀劍。你的仇敵必將奉承你，而你卻要踐踏他們的背脊。 | 29Blessed are thou, Israel: who is like to thee, O people, that art saved by the Lord? the shield of thy help, and the sword of thy glory: thy enemies shall deny thee, and thou shalt tread upon their necks. |
