| 1梅瑟由摩阿布曠野上了乃波山，上到耶里哥對面的丕斯加峰，上主就將全地指給他看：即由基肋阿得直到丹， | 1Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab upon mount Nebo, to the top of Phasga over against Jericho: and the Lord shewed him all the land of Galaad as far as Dan. |
| 2納斐塔里和厄弗辣因及默納協全地，直達西海的猶大全境， | 2And all Nephtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasses, and all the land of Juda unto the furthermost sea, |
| 3乃革布和棕櫚城的耶里哥山谷盆地，直到左哈爾。 | 3And the south part, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho the city of palm trees as far as Segor. |
| 4上主對他說：「這就是我對亞巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯誓許說我要給你後裔的土地。我讓你親眼看見，但你不能過去。」 | 4And the Lord said to him: This is the land, for which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to thy seed. Thou hast seen it with thy eyes, and shalt not pass over to it. |
| 5上主的僕人梅瑟遂死在那裏，按上主所預定的，死在摩阿布地。 | 5And Moses the servant of the Lord died there, in the land of Moab, by the commandment of the Lord: |
| 6上主將他葬在摩阿布地，面對貝特培敖爾的一個山谷內；直到今日沒有人知道埋葬他的地方。 | 6And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab over against Phogor: and no man hath known of his sepulchre until this present day. |
| 7梅瑟死時，已一百二十歲；他的眼睛未花，精力也未衰退。 | 7Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, neither were his teeth moved. |
| 8以色列子民在摩阿布曠野哀悼了梅瑟三十日。為梅瑟舉哀的日期滿了， | 8And the children of Israel mourned for him in the plains of Moab thirty days: and the days of their mourning in which they mourned for Moses were ended. |
| 9農的兒子若蘇厄，因梅瑟曾按手在他身上，充滿了智慧之神；為此，以色列子民都聽從他，全照上主向梅瑟所吩咐的去行。 | 9And Josue the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, because Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the children of Israel obeyed him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 10以後在以色列中，再沒有興起一位像梅瑟一樣的先知，與上主面對面地來往； | 10And there arose no more a prophet in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, |
| 11至於上主派他在埃及地，向法郎，和他的一切臣僕，並向他全地所行的一切神蹟和奇蹟， | 11In all the signs and wonders, which he sent by him, to do in the land of Egypt to Pharao, and to all his servants, and to his whole land, |
| 12以及他在全以色列眼前所行的一切大能作為，和一切令人畏懼的大事，也沒有人能與他相比。 | 12And all the mighty hand, and great miracles, which Moses did before all Israel. |
