| 1十年十月十二日，上主的話傳給我說： | 1In the tenth year, the tenth month, the eleventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 2「人子，你面向埃及王法郎，講預言攻擊他和埃及全國。 | 2Son of man, set thy face against Pharao king of Egypt: and thou shalt prophesy of him, and of all Egypt: |
| 3你應發言說：吾主上主這樣說：埃及王法郎，你這臥在河中的大鱷魚！看，我要攻擊你；你曾說過：『河是我的，是我造成的』。 | 3Speak, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I come against thee, Pharao king of Egypt, thou great dragon that liest in the midst of thy rivers, and sayest: The river is mine, and I made myself. |
| 4但是我要用鉤子鉤住你的鰓，使你河中的魚都附在你的鱗上，將你和你河中所有附在你鱗上的魚，從河中拉上來； | 4But I will put a bridle in thy jaws: and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick to thy scales: and I will draw thee out of the midst of thy rivers, and all thy fish shall stick to thy scales. |
| 5將你和你河中的魚拋在曠野；你要倒斃在地面上，而無人收殮，也無人掩埋；我要把你交給地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥作食物： | 5And I will cast thee forth into the desert, and all the fish of thy river: thou shalt fall upon the face of the earth, thou shalt not be taken up, nor gathered together: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the earth, and to the fowls of the air. |
| 6如此，所有埃及的居民便承認我是上主，因為你曾作過支持以色列家族的蘆葦， | 6And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord: because thou hast been a staff of a reed to the house of Israel. |
| 7當他們手中握着你時，你就破裂了，刺傷了他們的手掌；他們依靠你時，你就折斷了，使他們的腰顫慄； | 7When they took hold of thee with the hand thou didst break, and rent all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brokest, and weakenest all their loins. |
| 8為此，吾主上主這樣說：看，我要使刀臨於你，消滅你境內的人和獸， | 8Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will bring the sword upon thee: and cut off man and beast out of thee. |
| 9埃及地將成為荒野沙漠：這樣，他們便承認我是上主；因為你說過：『河是我的，是我造成的』； | 9And the land of Egypt shall become a desert, and a wilderness: and they shall know that I am the Lord: because thou hast said: The river is mine, and I made it. |
| 10為此，看，我要攻擊你和你的河，我要使埃及地，由米革多耳到色威乃，直到雇士邊界，都成為荒野和沙漠。 | 10Therefore, behold I come against thee, and thy rivers: and I will make the land of Egypt utterly desolate, and wasted by the sword, from the tower of Syene, even to the borders of Ethiopia. |
| 11人足不再經過那裏，獸蹄也不從那裏踏過；無人居住凡四十年之久。 | 11The foot of man shall not pass through it, neither shall the foot of beasts go through it: nor shall it be inhabited during forty years. |
| 12我要使埃及地成為荒蕪地中最荒蕪的，使她的城變為荒廢城中最荒廢的，凡四十年之久；我更要把埃及人分散外邦，散佈在各地。 | 12And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the lands that are desolate, and the cities thereof in the midst of the cities that are destroyed, and they shall be desolate for forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. |
| 13因為吾主上主這樣說：過了四十年，我必從各民族中把四散的埃及人聚集起來， | 13For thus saith the Lord God: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the people among whom they had been scattered. |
| 14我要轉變埃及人的命運，領他們回到他們出生的帕特洛斯地方，他們要在那裏成立一個小國。 | 14And I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will place them in the land of Phatures, in the land of their nativity, and they shall be there a low kingdom: |
| 15在萬國中她是最小的，再也不得高踞萬民之上；我還要減少他們的人數，使她不再統治列國， | 15It shall be the lowest among other kingdoms, and it shall no more be exalted over the nations, and I will diminish them that they shall rule no more over the nations. |
| 16也不再做以色列家族的靠山，卻常使以色列記起求救於他們的罪行：如此，他們必承認我是上主。」 | 16And they shall be no more a confidence to the house of Israel, teaching iniquity, that they may flee, and follow them: and they shall know that I am the Lord God. |
| 17二十七年一月一日，上主的話傳給我說： | 17And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first of the month: that the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 18「人子，巴比倫王拿步高為攻打提洛，使自己的軍隊服了重役，他們的頭都禿了，肩也磨破了；但是他和他的軍隊為攻打提洛所服的重役，從提洛卻沒有得到報酬； | 18Son of man, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon hath made his army to undergo hard service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: and there hath been no reward given him, nor his army for Tyre, for the service that he rendered me against it. |
| 19為此吾主上主這樣說：看，我必將埃及地交給巴比倫王拿步高，他要運走她的財富，奪去她的掠物，搶去她的戰利品，作為自己軍隊的報酬。 | 19Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will set Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon in the land of Egypt: and he shall take her multitude, and take the booty thereof for a prey, and rifle the spoils thereof: and it shall be wages for his army. |
| 20我將埃及地賜給他，作為他服役的報酬，因為他們為我而工作──吾主上主的斷語── | 20And for the service that he hath done me against it: I have given him the land of Egypt, because he hath laboured for me, saith the Lord God. |
| 21在那一天我要給以色列興起一位大能者，我要使你在他們中間開口：如此，他們必承認我是上主。」 | 21In that day a horn shall bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give thee an open mouth in the midst of them: and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
