| 1上主的話傳給我說： | 1And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 2「人子，你要面向色依爾山，講預言攻斥它， | 2Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy concerning it, and say to it: |
| 3對它說：吾主上主這樣說：色依爾山啊！看，我要攻擊你，伸手打擊你，使你變成沙漠和荒野。 | 3Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch forth my hand upon thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste. |
| 4我要使你的城市變成廢墟，你將成為沙漠：如此，你便承認我是上主。 | 4I will destroy thy cities, and thou shalt be desolate: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. |
| 5因為在以色列子民遭難時，在他們罪惡滿盈時，你懷着永不忘的仇恨將他們交於刀劍： | 5Because thou hast been an everlasting enemy, and hast shut up the children of Israel in the hands of the sword in the time of their affliction, in the time of their last iniquity. |
| 6為此，我指着我的生命起誓──吾主上主的斷語──你既仇恨了血，血也必迫害你。 | 6Therefore as I live, saith the Lord God, I will deliver thee up to blood, and blood shall pursue thee: and whereas thou hast hated blood, blood shall pursue thee. |
| 7我必使色依爾山成為沙漠和荒野，由其中滅絕來往經過的人。 | 7And I will make mount Seir waste and desolate: and I will take away from it him that goeth and him that returneth. |
| 8我要使你的群山、丘陵、山谷和溪澗，堆滿傷亡的人，使刀劍傷亡的人橫臥其中。 | 8And I will fill his mountains with his men that are slain: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in thy torrents they shall fall that are slain with the sword. |
| 9我要使你永久變為荒蕪，你的城邑再沒有人居住：如此，你們便承認我是上主。 | 9I will make thee everlasting desolations, and thy cities shall not be inhabited: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord God. |
| 10因為你說過：這兩個民族，這兩個地域應屬於我，雖然雅威住在那裏，我還要去佔領； | 10Because thou hast said: The two nations, and the two lands shall be mine, and I will possess them by inheritance: whereas the Lord was there. |
| 11為此，我指着我的生命起誓，──吾主上主的斷語──就如你怎樣懷着仇恨對待他們，同樣我也必以怒火和妒恨來對待你；當我懲罰你時，我叫你知道我在他們中， | 11Therefore as I live, saith the Lord God, I will do according to thy wrath, and according to thy envy, which thou hast exercised in hatred to them: and I will be made known by them, when I shall have judged thee. |
| 12並要你知道，我上主聽見了你向以色列的群山所講的一切詛咒的話，說：它們已荒蕪了，已交給我們享用。 | 12And thou shalt know that I the Lord have heard all thy reproaches, that thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying: They are desolate, they are given to us to consume. |
| 13當你們開口說大話攻斥我，說出許多凌辱我的話時，我都聽見了。 | 13And you rose up against me with your mouth, and have derogated from me by your words: I have heard them. |
| 14吾主上主這樣說：當全地歡躍時，我要使你荒蕪， | 14Thus saith the Lord God: When the whole earth shall rejoice, I will make thee a wilderness. |
| 15就如在以色列家的產業荒蕪時，你曾喜樂；同樣，我也要這樣對待你；色依爾山必變成荒野，全厄東必被消滅：如此，人必承認我是上主。」 | 15As thou hast rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was laid waste, so will I do to thee: thou shalt be laid waste, O mount Seir, and all Idumea: and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
