| 1「人子，你向以色列群山講預言說：以色列群山，聽上主的話罷！ | 1And thou son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say: Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord: |
| 2吾主上主這樣說：因為敵人曾論你們說：『哈！永遠荒涼了，那地已成了我們的產業。』 | 2Thus saith the Lord God: Because the enemy hath said of you: Aha, the everlasting heights are given to us for an inheritance. |
| 3為此你要預言說：吾主上主這樣說：因人使你們荒涼了，從各方面侵蝕你們，使你們成為殘餘民族的產業，並使你們成為人們的口頭禪和話柄： | 3Therefore prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Because you have been desolate, and trodden under foot on every side, and made an inheritance to the rest of the nations, and are become the subject of the talk, and the reproach of the people: |
| 4為此，以色列群山！你們聽吾主上主的話罷！吾主上主這樣對高山、丘陵、溪澗、山谷、荒涼的廢墟，以及那些曾為四周殘餘民族的掠物和笑柄而被遺棄的城邑說： | 4Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God: Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the brooks, and to the valleys, and to desolate places, and ruinous walls, and to the cities that are forsaken, that are spoiled, and derided by the rest of the nations round about. |
| 5吾主上主這樣說：我必在我妒火中發言攻斥各殘餘的民族和整個厄東，她們心裏懷着幸災樂禍，和輕視的心情，將我的地方據為自己的產業，劫掠它當作戰利品。 | 5Therefore thus saith the Lord God: In the fire of my zeal I have spoken of the rest of the nations, and of all Edom, who have taken my land to themselves, for an inheritance with joy, and with all the heart, and with the mind: and have cast it out to lay it waste. |
| 6為此，你向以色列地域講預言，對高山、丘陵、溪澗和山谷說：吾主上主這樣說：因為你們遭受了異民的凌辱，看，我必在妒火和憤怒中發言。 | 6Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ridges, and to the valleys: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I have spoken in my zeal, and in my indignation, because you have borne the shame of the Gentiles. |
| 7為此，吾主上主這樣說：我舉手起誓：你們四周的異民必要遭受他們當受的凌辱。 | 7Therefore thus saith the Lord God: I have lifted up my hand, that the Gentiles who are round about you, shall themselves bear their shame. |
| 8以色列群山，你們要給我的百姓以色列生出枝葉，結出果實，因為他們快來到了。 | 8But as for you, O mountains of Israel, shoot ye forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel: for they are at hand to come. |
| 9看，我偕同你們，眷顧你們，使你們得以耕種，得以播種， | 9For lo I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be ploughed and sown. |
| 10在你們那裏增加全以色列家族的人數，使城邑再有居民，廢墟得以重建。 | 10And I will multiply men upon you, and all the house of Israel: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the ruinous places shall be repaired. |
| 11我要在你們那裏，使人和牲畜的數目增多，他們要增加繁殖；我要使你們再有居民，如同昔日一樣，優待你們勝過先前，如此，你們便承認我是上主。 | 11And I will make you abound with men and with beasts: and they shall be multiplied, and increased: and I will settle you as from the beginning, and will give you greater gifts, than you had from the beginning: and you shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 12我要引領人，即我的百姓以色列到你們上面，他們要佔領你，你要成為他們的產業，再不使他們喪失子女。 | 12And I will bring men upon you, my people Israel, and they shall possess thee for their inheritance: and thou shalt be their inheritance, and shalt no more henceforth be without them. |
| 13吾主上主這樣說：因為人向你說：你吞噬了人，並使你的百姓喪失子女； | 13Thus saith the Lord God: Because they say of you: Thou art a devourer of men, and one that suffocatest thy nation: |
| 14從此你不再吞噬人，也不再使你的百姓喪失子女──吾主上主的斷語── | 14Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, nor destroy thy nation any more, saith the Lord God: |
| 15我不再讓在你那裏聽到異民的凌辱，你也不再受異民咒罵，也不再使你的百姓喪失子女──吾主上主的斷語。」 | 15Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the nations any more, nor shalt thou bear the reproach of the people, nor lose thy nation any more, saith the Lord God. |
| 16上主的話傳給我說： | 16And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 17「人子，以色列家族住在自己的地域時，以自己的品行和作為玷污了此地，他們的品行在我面前好似經期的污穢。 | 17Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it with their ways, and with their doings: their way was before me like the uncleanness of a menstruous woman. |
| 18因他們在此地所流的血，又因他們的偶像玷污了此地，我遂在他們身上發洩我的憤怒， | 18And I poured out my indignation upon them for the blood which they had shed upon the land, and with their idols they defiled it. |
| 19將他們分散在異民中，散佈在各國，照他們的品行和作為懲罰了他們。 | 19And I scattered them among the nations, and they are dispersed through the countries: I have judged them according to their ways, and their devices. |
| 20他們到了應去的異民那裏，還褻瀆了我的聖名，因為人們論及他們說：『這些人原是雅威的百姓，但他們卻應當離開他的地域！』 | 20And when they entered among the nations whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when it was said of them: This is the people of the Lord, and they are come forth out of his land. |
| 21我遂憐惜我的聖名，即以色列家族在他們所到的異民中所褻瀆的聖名。 | 21And I have regarded my own holy name, which the house of Israel hath profaned among the nations to which they went in. |
| 22為此，你要告訴以色列家族，吾主上主這樣說：以色列家族，我作這事並不是為了你們，而是為了我的聖名，即你們在所到的異民中所褻瀆的聖名。 | 22Therefore thou shalt say to the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord God: It is not for your sake that I will do this, O house of Israel, but for my holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations whither you went. |
| 23我要使我的大名顯聖，即在異民中被褻瀆，即你們在他們中所褻瀆的聖名；當我在你們身上，在他們眼前顯為聖的時候，異民就要承認我是上主──吾主上主的斷語。 | 23And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the Gentiles, which you have profaned in the midst of them: that the Gentiles may know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord of hosts, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. |
| 24我要把你們從異民中領出，從各地聚集你們，領你們回到你們的地域。 | 24For I will take you from among the Gentiles, and will gather you together out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land. |
| 25那時，我要在你們身上灑清水，潔淨你們，淨化你們脫離各種不潔和各種偶像。 | 25And I will pour upon you clean water, and you shall be cleansed from all your filthiness, and I will cleanse you from all your idols. |
| 26我還要賜給你們一顆新心，在你們五內放上一種新的精神，從你們的肉身內取去鐵石的心，給你們換上一顆血肉的心。 | 26And I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. |
| 27我要將我的神賜於你們五內，使你們遵行我的規律，恪守我的誡命，且一一實行。 | 27And I will put my spirit in the midst of you: and I will cause you to walk in my commandments, and to keep my judgments, and do them. |
| 28如此，你們要居住在我賜給你們祖先的地方；你們要作我的百姓，我作你們的天主。 | 28And you shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. |
| 29我要救你們脫離各種不潔，命五穀豐登，不再讓你們遭受饑荒。 | 29And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for corn, and will multiply it, and will lay no famine upon you. |
| 30我要使樹上的果實，田間的出產豐收，免得你們因饑荒受異民淩辱。 | 30And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you bear no more the reproach of famine among the nations. |
| 31那時你們記起了你們的惡行和那些不好的行為，連你們自己對你們的罪過和醜惡之事，也感覺討厭。 | 31And you shall remember your wicked ways, and your doings that were not good: and your iniquities, and your wicked deeds shall displease you. |
| 32你們應清楚知道：我作這事並不是為了你們──吾主上主的斷語──以色列家族！對你們的品行害羞慚愧罷！ | 32It is not for your sakes that I will do this, saith the Lord God, be it known to you: be confounded, and ashamed at your own ways, O house of Israel. |
| 33吾主上主這樣說：在我潔化你們脫離各種罪過的那天，使城邑有人居住，廢墟得以重建， | 33Thus saith the Lord God: In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, and shall cause the cities to be inhabited, and shall repair the ruinous places, |
| 34在過客眼中曾為荒蕪的地方，再得以耕種之時， | 34And the desolate land shall be tilled, which before was waste in the sight of all that passed by, |
| 35人們要說：那曾荒廢的地方，如今成了『伊甸』樂園；荒蕪廢棄和破壞的城邑，如今成了設防安居之地。 | 35They shall say: This land that was untilled is become as a garden of pleasure: and the cities that were abandoned, and desolate, and destroyed, are peopled and fenced. |
| 36如此，你們四周的殘餘民族便承認，是我上主重建了破壞的城，種植了荒廢的地。我上主言出必行。 | 36And the nations, that shall be left round about you, shall know that I the Lord have built up what was destroyed, and planted what was desolate, that I the Lord have spoken and done it. |
| 37吾主上主這樣說：我還要讓以色列家族求我實行這事：叫他們的人數繁殖，多如羊群； | 37Thus saith the Lord God: Moreover in this shall the house of Israel find me, that I will do it for them: I will multiply them as a flock of men, |
| 38就如被奉獻的羊群，就如在慶節日耶路撒冷的羊群有多少，荒蕪的城邑也要充滿那麼多的人群：如此，他們便承認我是上主。」 | 38As a holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts: so shall the waste cities be full of flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
