| 1有關「神視谷」的神諭：你究竟為了什麼上了屋頂？ | 1The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee also, that thou too art wholly gone up to the housetops? |
| 2你這座充滿喧嘩嘈雜的城市，享樂的都會！你的被殺者並不是被殺於刀劍，也不是死於戰場。 | 2Full of clamour, a populous city, a joyous city: thy slain are not slain by the sword, nor dead in battle. |
| 3你所有的官長都結伴逃遁，竄逃遠方；你所有的將士也都集體被俘，棄弓就縛。 | 3All the princes are fled together, and are bound hard: all that were found, are bound together, they are fled far off. |
| 4為此我說：「你們不要管我，讓我痛哭一場罷！也不要為了我民族的女兒的零落，有勞你們來安慰我！」 | 4Therefore have I said: Depart from me, I will weep bitterly: labour not to comfort me, for the devastation of the daughter of my people. |
| 5因為這是一個混亂、蹂躪、惶惑的日子，是屬於吾主萬軍的上主的日子；在「神視谷」內，城牆倒塌，喊聲震撼山岳。 | 5For it is a day of slaughter and of treading down, and of weeping to the Lord the God of hosts in the valley of vision, searching the wall, and magnificent upon the mountain. |
| 6厄藍取了箭囊，阿蘭騎上了戰馬，克爾亮出了盾牌。 | 6And Elam took the quiver, the chariot of the horseman, and the shield was taken down from the wall. |
| 7你最富麗的山谷充滿了戰車，騎兵已在門前佈好陣勢。 | 7And thy choice valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horseman shall place themselves in the gate. |
| 8猶大的屏障已被揭開。那天你們只仰望林宮內的武器， | 8And the covering of Juda shall be discovered, and thou shalt see in that day the armoury of the house of the forest. |
| 9只看見了達味城上的許多裂縫，聚集了下池塘的蓄水， | 9And you shall see the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and you have gathered together the waters of the lower pool, |
| 10計算了耶路撒冷的房屋，拆毀了民房來鞏固城牆， | 10And have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and broken down houses to fortify the wall. |
| 11在兩城牆之間，又鑿了個蓄水池，來貯藏池塘的水；卻沒有仰望這事的主事者，也沒有回顧那老早計劃了這事的。 | 11And you made a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: and you have not looked up to the maker thereof, nor regarded him even at a distance, that wrought it long ago. |
| 12那天，吾主萬軍的上主本來叫人哭泣、哀號、削髮、腰束苦衣； | 12And the Lord, the God of hosts, in that day shall call to weeping, and to mourning, to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth: |
| 13但是，看，仍是歡躍喜樂，宰牛殺羊，飲酒食肉：「吃喝罷！明天我們就要死啦！」 | 13And behold joy and gladness, killing calves, and slaying rams, eating flesh, and drinking wine: Let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we shall die. |
| 14萬軍的上主親自附耳傳示給我說：「決不赦免你們這罪惡，除非你們死去。」吾主萬軍的上主這樣說。 | 14And the voice of the Lord of hosts was revealed in my ears: Surely this iniquity shall not be forgiven you till you die, saith the Lord God of hosts. |
| 15有關宮殿總管舍布納的神諭：吾主萬軍的上主這樣說：去！到那個在高處給自己鑿墳墓，在巖石間給自己闢寢室的家宰那裏去，對他說：「你在這裏有什麼東西？你在這裏有什麼人，竟在這裏為你鑿墳墓？ | 15Thus saith the Lord God of hosts: Go, get thee in to him that dwelleth in the tabernacle, to Sobna who is over the temple: and thou shalt say to him: |
| 16看哪！上主要大力一擲，把你擲得遠遠的；他要抓緊你， | 16What dost thou here, or as if thou wert somebody here? for thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, thou hast hewed out a monument carefully in a high place, a dwelling for thyself in a rock. |
| 17將你捲了又捲，捲成一團，如一圓球，拋擲到廣闊之地。你要死在那裏，連你的彩車也要毀滅，你這個王宮的恥辱！ | 17Behold the Lord will cause thee to be carried away, as a cock is carried away, and he will lift thee up as a garment. |
| 18我要革你的職，撤你的位。 | 18He will crown thee with a crown of tribulation, he will toss thee like a ball into a large and spacious country: there shalt thou die, and there shall the chariot of thy glory be, the shame of the house of thy Lord. |
| 19到那天，我要召希耳克雅的兒子厄里雅金作我的僕人。 | 19And I will drive thee out From thy station, and depose thee from thy ministry. |
| 20我要把你的朝衣給他穿上，把你的玉帶給他束上，將你的治權交在他手中；他將作耶路撒冷居民和猶大家室的慈父。 | 20And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliacim the son of Helcias, |
| 21我要將達味家室的鑰匙放在他肩上；他開了，沒有人能關；他關了，沒有人能開。 | 21And I will clothe him with thy robe, and will strengthen him with thy girdle, and will give thy power into his hand: and he shall be as a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Juda. |
| 22我要堅定他，有如釘在穩固地方的木橛；他將成為他父家榮譽的寶座。 | 22And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open. |
| 23他父家全部的榮耀、細枝、嫩芽、各種細小的物品，自碗具以至各種壺瓶都懸掛在它上面。 | 23And I will fasten him as a peg in a sure place, and he shall be for a throne of glory to the house of his father. |
| 24到那一天──萬軍上主的斷語──釘在穩固地方的木橛必將脫落，破裂，掉下來，上面所掛的重載也要摔得粉碎。因為上主說了。 | 24And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, divers kinds of vessels, every little vessel, from the vessels of cups even to every instrument of music. |
| 25 | 25In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall the peg be removed, that was fastened in the sure place: and it shall be broken and shall fall: and that which hung thereon, shall perish, because the Lord hath spoken it. |
