| 1貝耳塌下了，乃波傾倒了，他們的神像，負在走獸和牲口身上；他們的重載，重壓着筋疲的畜類。 | 1Bel is broken, Nebo is destroyed: their idols are put upon beasts and cattle, your burdens of heavy weight even unto weariness. |
| 2他們都一齊傾倒了，塌下了，神像不但不能救助馱運他們的畜類，甚至連自己也該流徙遠配。 | 2They are consumed, and are broken together: they could not save him that carried them, and they themselves shall go into captivity. |
| 3雅各伯家啊！以色列家所有的遺民啊！請你們聽我：自出母胎我就抱着你，自離母腹我就懷着你； | 3Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who are carried by my bowels, are borne up by my womb. |
| 4直到你年老，我仍是一樣；直到你白頭，我依然扶持你。我既然如此做了，我必要提攜你，扶持你，拯救你。 | 4Even to your old age I am the same, and to your grey hairs I will carry you: I have made you, and I will bear: I will carry and will save. |
| 5你們拿我同誰比擬，與誰相等，跟誰比較，以求我們相同呢？ | 5To whom have you likened me, and made me equal, and compared me, and made me like? |
| 6有些人從錢囊中把金子倒出，放銀子在天平上衡量；以後僱了一個金匠，製造了一個神像，遂向它屈膝朝拜； | 6You that contribute gold out of the bag, and weigh out silver in the scales: and hire a goldsmith to make a god: and they fall down and worship. |
| 7又將神像抬起，放在肩上扛着，以後安置在一個地方，它就立在那裏，再不能離開那地方；人呼求它，它也不答應，也不能救人脫離災殃。 | 7They bear him on their shoulders and carry him, and set him in his piece, and he shall stand, and shall not stir out of his place. Yea, when they shall cry also unto him, he shall not hear: he shall not save them from tribulation. |
| 8你們應記住這事，應站穩！叛逆的人啊！你們應記在心頭！ | 8Remember this, and be ashamed: return, ye transgressors, to the heart. |
| 9你們應追憶以前古時所發生的事，因為我是天主，沒有另一個；我是天主，沒有與我相似的； | 9Remember the former age, for I am God, and there is no God beside, neither is there the like to me: |
| 10我從起初就預言了末後的事，早就宣佈了未來的事；我如今說：「我的計劃必要成功，我的旨意都要實現」； | 10Who shew from the beginning the things that shall be at last, and from ancient times the things that as yet are not done, saying: My counsel shall stand, and all my will shall be done: |
| 11我要把老鷹從東方召來，把履行我計劃的人由遠方叫來；我說了，必要去行；我決定了，必要去做。 | 11Who call a bird from the east, and from a far country the man of my own will, and I have spoken, and will bring it to pass: I have created, and I will do it. Hear me, O ye hardhearted, who are far from justice. |
| 12心硬的人！遠離正義的人！聽我說罷！ | 12I have brought my justice near, it shall not be afar off: and my salvation shall not tarry. I will give salvation in Sion, and my glory in Israel. |
| 13我的仁義來近了，已不遠了，我的救恩不再延遲；我必在熙雍賜與救恩，把我的光榮賜給以色列。 | 13 |
