| 1「我實實在在告訴你們：凡不由門進入羊棧，而由別處爬進去的，便是賊，是強盜。 | 1Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. |
| 2由門進去的，纔是羊的牧人。 | 2But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. |
| 3看門的給他開門，羊聽他的聲音；他按着名字呼喚自己的羊，並引領出來。 | 3To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. |
| 4當他把羊放出來以後，就走在羊前面，羊也跟隨他，因為認得他的聲音。 | 4And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. |
| 5羊決不跟隨陌生人，反而逃避他，因為羊不認得陌生人的聲音。」 | 5But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers. |
| 6耶穌給他們講了這個比喻，他們卻不明白給他們所講的是什麼。 | 6This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what he spoke to them. |
| 7於是耶穌又對他們說：「我實實在在告訴你們：我是羊的門； | 7Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. |
| 8凡在我以先來的，都是賊和強盜，羊沒有聽從他們。 | 8All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not. |
| 9我就是門，誰若經過我進來，必得安全；可以進，可以出，可以找着草場。 | 9I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures. |
| 10賊來，無非是為偷竊、殺害、毀滅；我來，卻是為叫他們獲得生命，且獲得更豐富的生命。 | 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly. |
| 11我是善牧：善牧為羊捨掉自己的性命。 | 11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. |
| 12傭工，因不是牧人，羊也不是他自己的，一看見狼來，便棄羊逃跑──狼就抓住羊，把羊趕散了， | 12But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep: |
| 13因為他是傭工，對羊漠不關心。 | 13And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep. |
| 14我是善牧，我認識我的羊，我的羊也認識我， | 14I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know me. |
| 15正如父認識我，我也認識父一樣；我並且為羊捨掉我的性命。 | 15As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep. |
| 16我還有別的羊，還不屬於這一棧，我也該把他們引來，他們要聽我的聲音，這樣，將只有一個羊群，一個牧人。 | 16And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd. |
| 17父愛我，因為我捨掉我的性命，為再取回它來： | 17Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. |
| 18誰也不能奪去我的性命，而是我甘心情願捨掉它；我有權捨掉它，我也有權再取回它來：這是我由我父所接受的命令。」 | 18No man taketh it away from me: but I lay it down of myself, and I have power to lay it down: and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of my Father. |
| 19因了這些話，猶太人中間又發生了紛爭； | 19A dissension rose again among the Jews for these words. |
| 20他們中有許多人說：「他附魔發瘋，為什麼還聽他呢？」 | 20And many of them said: He hath a devil, and is mad: why hear you him? |
| 21另有些人說：「這話不是附魔的人所能說的；難道魔鬼能開瞎子的眼睛麼？」 | 21Others said: These are not the words of one that hath a devil: Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? |
| 22那時，在耶路撒冷舉行重建節，正是冬天。 | 22And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem: and it was winter. |
| 23耶穌徘徊於聖殿內撒羅滿遊廊下。 | 23And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon's porch. |
| 24猶太人圍起他來，向他說：「你使我們的心神懸疑不定，要到幾時呢？你如果是默西亞，就坦白告訴我們罷！」 | 24The Jews therefore came round about him, and said to him: How long dost thou hold our souls in suspense? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. |
| 25耶穌答覆說：「我已告訴了你們，你們卻不相信；我以我父的名所作的工作，為我作證， | 25Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me. |
| 26但你們還是不信，因為你們不是屬於我的羊。 | 26But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep. |
| 27我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟隨我； | 27My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me. |
| 28我賜予他們永生，他們永遠不會喪亡；誰也不能從我手中把他們奪去。 | 28And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand. |
| 29我那賜給我羊群的父，超越一切，為此，誰也不能從我父手裏將他們奪去。 | 29That which my Father hath given me, is greater than all: and no one can snatch them out of the hand of my Father. |
| 30我與父原是一體。」 | 30I and the Father are one. |
| 31猶太人又拿起石頭來，要砸死他。 | 31The Jews then took up stones to stone him. |
| 32耶穌向他們說：「我賴我父給你們顯示了許多善事，為了那一件，你們要砸死我呢？」 | 32Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father; for which of these works do you stone me? |
| 33猶太人回答說：「為了善事，我們不會砸死你；而是為了褻瀆的話，因為你是人，卻把你自己當作天主。」 | 33The Jews answered him: For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, maketh thyself God. |
| 34耶穌卻向他們說：「在你們的法律上不是記載着：『我說過：你們是神』麼？ | 34Jesus answered them: Is it not written in your law: I said you are gods? |
| 35如果，那些承受天主話的，天主尚且稱他們為神──而經書是不能廢棄的── | 35If he called them gods, to whom the word of God was spoken, and the scripture cannot be broken; |
| 36那麼，父所祝聖並派遣到世界上來的，因為說過：我是天主子，你們就說：你說褻瀆的話麼？ | 36Do you say of him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the world: Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God? |
| 37假使我不作我父的工作，你們就不必信我； | 37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. |
| 38但若是我作了，你們縱然不肯信我，至少要信這些工作，如此你們必定認出父在我內，我在父內。」 | 38But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father. |
| 39他們又企圖捉拿他，他卻從他們手中走脫了。 | 39They sought therefore to take him; and he escaped out of their hands. |
| 40耶穌又到約但河對岸，若翰先前施洗的地方去了，並住在那裏。 | 40And he went again beyond the Jordan, into that place where John was baptizing first; and there he abode. |
| 41有許多人來到他那裏說：「若翰固然沒有行過神蹟，但若翰關於這人所說的一切，都是真的。」 | 41And many resorted to him, and they said: John indeed did no sign. |
| 42許多人就在那裏信了耶穌。 | 42But all things whatsoever John said of this man, were true. And many believed in him. |
