若望福音	John
¹逾越節前六天，耶穌來到伯達尼，就是耶穌從死者中喚起拉匝祿的地方。	¹Jesus therefore, six days before the pasch, came to Bethania, where Lazarus had been dead, whom Jesus raised to life.
²有人在那裡為他擺設了晚宴，瑪爾大伺候，而拉匝祿也是和耶穌一起坐席的一位。	²And they made him a supper there: and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that were at table with him.
³那時，瑪利亞拿了一斤極珍貴的純「拿爾多」香液，敷抹了耶穌的腳，並用自己的頭髮擦乾，屋裡便充滿了香液的氣味──。	³Mary therefore took a pound of ointment of right spikenard, of great price, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
⁴那要負賣耶穌的依斯加略猶達斯──即他的一個門徒──便說：	⁴Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, he that was about to betray him, said:
⁵「為什麼不把這香液去賣三百塊『德納』，施捨給窮人呢？」	⁵Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
⁶他說這話，並不是因為他關心窮人，只因為他是個賊，掌管錢囊，常偷取其中所存放的。	⁶Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and having the purse, carried the things that were put therein.
⁷耶穌就說：「由她罷！這原是她為我安葬之日而保存的。	⁷Jesus therefore said: Let her alone, that she may keep it against the day of my burial.
⁸你們常有窮人和你們在一起；至於我，你們卻不常有。」	⁸For the poor you have always with you; but me you have not always.
⁹有許多猶太人聽說耶穌在那裡，就來了，不但是為耶穌，也是為看他從死者中所喚起的拉匝祿。	⁹A great multitude therefore of the Jews knew that he was there; and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
¹⁰為此，司祭長議決連拉匝祿也要殺掉，	¹⁰But the chief priests thought to kill Lazarus also:
¹¹因為有許多猶太人為了拉匝祿的緣故，離開他們，而信從了耶穌。	¹¹Because many of the Jews, by reason of him, went away, and believed in Jesus.
¹²第二天，來過節的群眾，聽說耶穌來到耶路撒冷，	¹²And on the next day, a great multitude that was to come to the festival day, when they had heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
¹³便拿了棕櫚枝，出去迎接他，喊說：「賀三納！因上主之名而來的，以色列的君王，應受讚頌。」	¹³Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried: Hosanna, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, the king of Israel.
¹⁴耶穌找了一匹小驢，就騎上去，正如經上所記載的：	¹⁴And Jesus found a young ass, and sat upon it, as it is written:
^15「熙雍女子，不要害怕！看，你的君王騎着驢駒來了！」	¹⁵Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy king cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
¹⁶起初他的門徒也沒有明白這些事，然而，當耶穌受光榮以後，他們纔想起這些話是指着他而記載的。為此，他們就這樣對他做了。	¹⁶These things his disciples did not know at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things to him.
¹⁷當耶穌叫拉匝祿從墳墓中出來，由死者中喚起他時，那時同他在一起的眾人，都為所見的作證；	¹⁷The multitude therefore gave testimony, which was with him, when he called Lazarus out of the grave, and raised him from the dead.
¹⁸因此，有一群人去迎接他，因為他們聽說他行了這個神蹟；	¹⁸For which reason also the people came to meet him, because they heard that he had done this miracle.
¹⁹於是法利塞人便彼此說：「看，你們一無所成！瞧，全世界都跟他去了。」	¹⁹The Pharisees therefore said among themselves: Do you see that we prevail nothing? behold, the whole world is gone after him.
²⁰在那些上來過節，崇拜天主的人中，有些希臘人。	²⁰Now there were certain Gentiles among them, who came up to adore on the festival day.
²¹他們來到加里肋亞貝特賽達人斐理伯前，請求他說：「先生！我們願拜見耶穌。」	²¹These therefore came to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying: Sir, we would see Jesus.
²²斐理伯就去告訴安德肋，然後安德肋和斐理伯便來告訴耶穌。	²²Philip cometh, and telleth Andrew. Again Andrew and Philip told Jesus.
²³耶穌開口向他們說：「人子要受光榮的時辰到了。	²³But Jesus answered them, saying: The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
²⁴我實實在在告訴你們：一粒麥子如果不落在地裡死了，仍只是一粒；如果死了，纔結出許多子粒來。	²⁴Amen, amen I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falling into the ground die,
²⁵愛惜自己性命的，必要喪失性命；在現世憎恨自己性命的，必要保存性命入於永生。	²⁵Itself remaineth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, keepeth it unto life eternal.
²⁶誰若事奉我，就當跟隨我；如此，我在那裡，我的僕人也要在那裡；誰若事奉我，我父必要尊重他。	²⁶If any man minister to me, let him follow me; and where I am, there also shall my minister be. If any man minister to me, him will my Father honour.
²⁷現在我心神煩亂，我可說什麼呢？我說：父啊！救我脫離這時辰罷？但正是為此，我纔到了這時辰。	²⁷Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause I came unto this hour.
²⁸父啊！光榮你的名罷！」當時有聲音來自天上：「我已光榮了我的名，我還要光榮。」	²⁸Father, glorify thy name. A voice therefore came from heaven: I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
²⁹在場聽見的群眾，便說：「這是打雷。」另有人說：「是天使同他說話。」	²⁹The multitude therefore that stood and heard, said that it thundered. Others said: An angel spoke to him.
³⁰耶穌回答說：「這聲音不是為我而來，而是為你們。	³⁰Jesus answered, and said: This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
³¹現在就是這世界應受審判的時候，現在這世界的元首就要被趕出去；	³¹Now is the judgment of the world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
³²至於我，當我從地上被舉起來時，便要吸引眾人來歸向我。」	³²And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all things to myself.
³³他說這話，是表明他要以怎樣的死而死。	³³(Now this he said, signifying what death he should die.)
³⁴於是群眾回答他說：「我們從《法律》上知道：默西亞要存留到永遠；你怎麼說：人子必須被舉起呢？這個人子是誰？」	³⁴The multitude answered him: We have heard out of the law, that Christ abideth for ever; and how sayest thou: The Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?
³⁵耶穌遂給他們說：「光在你們中間還有片刻。你們趁着還有光的時候，應該行走，免得黑暗籠罩了你們。那在黑暗中行走的，不知道往那裡去。	³⁵Jesus therefore said to them: Yet a little while, the light is among you. Walk whilst you have the light, that the darkness overtake you not. And he that walketh in darkness, knoweth not whither he goeth.
³⁶幾時你們還有光，應當信從光，好成為光明之子。」耶穌講完了這些話，就躲開他們，隱藏去了。	³⁶Whilst you have the light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light. These things Jesus spoke; and he went away, and hid himself from them.
³⁷耶穌雖然在他們面前行了這麼多的神蹟，他們仍然不信他；	³⁷And whereas he had done so many miracles before them, they believed not in him:
³⁸這正應驗了依撒意亞先知所說的話：^「上主！有誰會相信我們的報道呢？上主的手臂又向誰顯示了出來呢？」	³⁸That the saying of Isaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said: Lord, who hath believed our hearing? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
³⁹他們不能信，因為依撒意亞又說過：	³⁹Therefore they could not believe, because Isaias said again:
⁴⁰^「上主使他們瞎了眼，使他們硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，心裡覺悟而悔改，使我治好他們。」	⁴⁰He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
⁴¹依撒意亞因為看見了他的光榮，所以指着他講了這話。	⁴¹These things said Isaias, when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.
⁴²事雖如此，但在首領中，仍有許多人信從了耶穌，只為了法利塞人而不敢明認，免得被逐出會堂，	⁴²However, many of the chief men also believed in him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, that they might not be cast out of the synagogue.
⁴³因為他們喜愛世人的光榮，勝過天主的光榮。	⁴³For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.
⁴⁴耶穌呼喊說：「信我的，不是信我，而是信那派遣我來的；	⁴⁴But Jesus cried, and said: He that believeth in me, doth not believe in me, but in him that sent me.
⁴⁵看見我的，也就是看見那派遣我來的。	⁴⁵And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me.
⁴⁶我身為光明，來到了世界上，使凡信我的，不留在黑暗中。	⁴⁶I am come a light into the world; that whosoever believeth in me, may not remain in darkness.
⁴⁷無論誰，若聽我的話而不遵行，我不審判他，因為我不是為審判世界而來，乃是為拯救世界。	⁴⁷And if any man hear my words, and keep them not, I do not judge him: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
⁴⁸拒絕我，及不接受我話的，自有審判他的：就是我所說的話，要在末日審判他。	⁴⁸He that despiseth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
⁴⁹因為我沒有憑我自己說話，而是派遣我來的父，他給我出了命，叫我該說什麼，該講什麼。	⁴⁹For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment what I should say, and what I should speak.
⁵⁰我知道他的命令就是永生；所以，我所講論的，全是依照父對我所說的而講論的。」	⁵⁰And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father said unto me, so do I speak.
