| 1一週的第一天，清晨，天還黑的時候，瑪利亞瑪達肋納來到墳墓那裏，看見石頭已從墓門挪開了。 | 1And on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen cometh early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre; and she saw the stone taken away from the sepulchre. |
| 2於是她跑去見西滿伯多祿和耶穌所愛的那另一個門徒，對他們說：「有人從墳墓中把主搬走了，我們不知道他們把他放在那裏了。」 | 2She ran, therefore, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith to them: They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. |
| 3伯多祿便和那另一個門徒出來，往墳墓那裏去了。 | 3Peter therefore went out, and that other disciple, and they came to the sepulchre. |
| 4兩人一起跑，但那另一個門徒比伯多祿跑得快，先來到了墳墓那裏。 | 4And they both ran together, and that other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. |
| 5他俯身看見了放着的殮布，卻沒有進去。 | 5And when he stooped down, he saw the linen cloths lying; but yet he went not in. |
| 6隨着他的西滿伯多祿也來到了，進了墳墓，看見了放着的殮布， | 6Then cometh Simon Peter, following him, and went into the sepulchre, and saw the linen cloths lying, |
| 7也看見耶穌頭上的那塊汗巾，不同殮布放在一起，而另在一處捲着。 | 7And the napkin that had been about his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but apart, wrapped up into one place. |
| 8那時，先來到墳墓的那個門徒，也進去了，一看見就相信了。 | 8Then that other disciple also went in, who came first to the sepulchre: and he saw, and believed. |
| 9這是因為他們還不明白，耶穌必須從死者中復活的那段聖經。 | 9For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. |
| 10然後兩個門徒又回到家裏去了。 | 10The disciples therefore departed again to their home. |
| 11瑪利亞卻站在墳墓外邊痛哭；她痛哭的時候，就俯身向墳墓裏面窺看， | 11But Mary stood at the sepulchre without, weeping. Now as she was weeping, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, |
| 12見有兩位穿白衣的天使，坐在安放過耶穌遺體的地方：一位在頭部，一位在腳部。 | 12And she saw two angels in white, sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been laid. |
| 13那兩位天使對她說：「女人！你哭什麼？」她答說：「有人把我主搬走了，我不知道他們把他放在那裏了。」 | 13They say to her: Woman, why weepest thou? She saith to them: Because they have taken away my Lord; and I know not where they have laid him. |
| 14說了這話，就向後轉身，見耶穌站在那裏，卻不知道他就是耶穌。 | 14When she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing; and she knew not that it was Jesus. |
| 15耶穌向她說：「女人，你哭什麼？你找誰？」她以為是園丁，就說：「先生，若是你把他搬走了，請告訴我，你把他放在那裏，我去取回他來。」 | 15Jesus saith to her: Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, thinking it was the gardener, saith to him: Sir, if thou hast taken him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. |
| 16耶穌給她說：「瑪利亞！」她便轉身用希伯來話對他說：「辣步尼！」就是說「師傅。」 | 16Jesus saith to her: Mary. She turning, saith to him: Rabboni (which is to say, Master). |
| 17耶穌向她說：「你別拉住我不放，因為我還沒有升到父那裏；你到我的弟兄那裏去，告訴他們：我升到我的父和你們的父那裏去，升到我的天主和你們的天主那裏去。」 | 17Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God. |
| 18瑪利亞瑪達肋納就去告訴門徒說：「我見了主。」並報告了耶穌對她所說的那些話。 | 18Mary Magdalen cometh, and telleth the disciples: I have seen the Lord, and these things he said to me. |
| 19正是那一週的第一天晚上，門徒所在的地方，因為怕猶太人，門戶都關着，耶穌來了，站在中間對他們說：「願你們平安！」 | 19Now when it was late that same day, the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: Peace be to you. |
| 20說了這話，便把手和肋膀指給他們看。門徒見了主，便喜歡起 來。 | 20And when he had said this, he shewed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord. |
| 21耶穌又對他們說：「願你們平安！就如父派遣了我，我也同樣派遣你們。」 | 21He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you. |
| 22說了這話，就向他們噓了一口氣，說：「你們領受聖神罷！ | 22When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost. |
| 23你們赦免誰的罪，就給誰赦免；你們存留誰的，就給誰存留。」 | 23Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained. |
| 24十二人中的一個，號稱狄狄摩的多默，當耶穌來時，卻沒有和他們在一起。 | 24Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. |
| 25別的門徒向他說：「我們看見了主」但他對他們說：「我除非看見他手上的釘孔，用我的指頭，探入釘孔；用我的手，探入他的肋膀，我決不信。」 | 25The other disciples therefore said to him: We have seen the Lord. But he said to them: Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. |
| 26八天以後，耶穌的門徒又在屋裏，多默也和他們在一起。門戶關着，耶穌來了，站在中間說：「願你們平安！」 | 26And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said: Peace be to you. |
| 27然後對多默說：「把你的指頭伸到這裏來，看看我的手罷！並伸過你的手來，探入我的肋膀，不要作無信的人，但要作個有信德的人。」 | 27Then he saith to Thomas: Put in thy finger hither, and see my hands; and bring hither thy hand, and put it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing. |
| 28多默回答說：「我主！我天主！」 | 28Thomas answered, and said to him: My Lord, and my God. |
| 29耶穌對他說：「因為你看見了我，纔相信嗎？那些沒有看見而相信的，纔是有福的！」 | 29Jesus saith to him: Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed. |
| 30耶穌在門徒前還行了許多其他的神蹟，沒有記在這部書上。 | 30Many other signs also did Jesus in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book. |
| 31這些所記錄的，是為叫你們信耶穌是默西亞，天主子；並使你們信的人，賴他的名獲得生命。 | 31But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing, you may have life in his name. |
