¹正在那時，來了幾個人把有關加里肋亞人的事，即比拉多把他們的血，與他們的祭品攙和在一起的事報告給耶穌。	¹And there were present, at that very time, some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
²他回答說：「你們以為這些加里肋亞人，比其他所有的加里肋亞人更有罪，纔遭此禍害嗎？	²And he answering, said to them: Think you that these Galileans were sinners above all the men of Galilee, because they suffered such things?
³不是的。我告訴你們：如果你們不悔改，你們都要同樣喪亡。	³No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.
⁴或如史羅亞塔倒下，而壓死的那十八個人，你們以為他們比耶路撒冷的其他一切居民罪債更大嗎？	⁴Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe, and slew them: think you, that they also were debtors above all the men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
⁵不是的。我告訴你們：如果你們不悔改，你們都要同樣喪亡。」	⁵No, I say to you; but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish.
⁶他講了這個比喻說：「有一個人曾將一棵無花果樹，栽在自己的葡萄園內。他來在樹上找果子，但沒有找到，	⁶He spoke also this parable: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.
⁷便對園丁說：你看，我三年來在這棵無花果樹上找果子，但沒有找到，你砍掉它罷，為什麼讓它荒廢土地？	⁷And he said to the dresser of the vineyard: Behold, for these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it done therefore: why cumbereth it the ground?
⁸園丁回答說：主人，再容它這一年罷！待我在它周圍掘土，加上糞；	⁸But he answering, said to him: Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig about it, and dung it.
⁹將來若結果子便算了；不然的話，你就把它砍了。」	⁹And if happily it bear fruit: but if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
¹⁰安息日，耶穌在一會堂裏施教。	¹⁰And he was teaching in their synagogue on their sabbath.
¹¹有一女人，病魔纏身已十八年了，傴僂着，完全不能直立。	¹¹And behold there was a woman, who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years: and she was bowed together, neither could she look upwards at all.
¹²耶穌見了她，便叫她過來，給她說：「女人，你的病已消除了。」	¹²Whom when Jesus saw, he called her unto him, and said to her: Woman, thou art delivered from thy infirmity.
¹³遂給她按手，她即刻就挺直起來，光榮天主。	¹³And he laid his hands upon her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
¹⁴會堂長因氣惱耶穌在安息日治病，便給眾人說道：「有六天應當工作，你們在這些日子裏可來治病，但不可在安息日這一天。」	¹⁴And the ruler of the synagogue (being angry that Jesus had healed on the sabbath) answering, said to the multitude: Six days there are wherein you ought to work. In them therefore come, and be healed; and not on the sabbath day.
¹⁵主回答他說：「假善人哪！你們每一個人在安息日，有不解下槽上的牛驢，牽去飲水的嗎？	¹⁵And the Lord answering him, said: Ye hypocrites, doth not every one of you, on the sabbath day, loose his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead them to water?
¹⁶這個女人原是亞巴郎的女兒，她被撒殫纏住已經有十八年了，安息日這一天，就不該解開她的束縛嗎？」	¹⁶And ought not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
¹⁷當耶穌講這話時，所有敵對他的人，個個慚愧，一切民眾因他所行的種種輝煌事蹟，莫不歡喜。	¹⁷And when he said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the things that were gloriously done by him.
¹⁸耶穌又說：「天主的國相似什麼？我要把它比作什麼呢？	¹⁸He said therefore: To what is the kingdom of God like, and whereunto shall I resemble it?
¹⁹它相似一粒芥子，人取來種在自己的園中，它遂生長起來，成了大樹，天上的飛鳥都棲息在它的枝頭上。」	¹⁹It is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and cast into his garden, and it grew and became a great tree, and the birds of the air lodged in the branches thereof.
²⁰他又說：「我要把天主的國比作什麼呢？	²⁰And again he said: Whereunto shall I esteem the kingdom of God to be like?
²¹它相似酵母，女人取來藏在三斗麵中，直到全部發酵。」	²¹It is like to leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
²²耶穌經過城市鄉村，隨處施教，朝着耶路撒冷走去。	²²And he went through the cities and towns teaching, and making his journey to Jerusalem.
²³有一個人給他說：「主，得救的人果然不多嗎？」耶穌對他們說：	²³And a certain man said to him: Lord, are they few that are saved? But he said to them:
²⁴「你們竭力由窄門而入罷！因為將來有許多人，我告訴你們：要想進去，而不得入。	²⁴Strive to enter by the narrow gate; for many, I say to you, shall seek to enter, and shall not be able.
²⁵及至家主起來把門關上，你們在外面站着，開始敲門說：主，請給我們開門罷！他要回答你們說：我不認識你們是那裏的。	²⁵But when the master of the house shall be gone in, and shall shut the door, you shall begin to stand without, and knock at the door, saying: Lord, open to us. And he answering, shall say to you: I know you not, whence you are.
²⁶那時，你們會說：我們曾在你面前吃過喝過；你也曾在我們的街市上施教過。	²⁶Then you shall begin to say: We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
²⁷他要說：我告訴你們：我不認識你們是那裏的；你們這些作惡的人，都離開我去罷！	²⁷And he shall say to you: I know you not, whence you are: depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
²⁸幾時你們望見亞巴郎、依撒格、雅各伯及眾先知在天主的國裏，你們卻被棄在外，那裏要有哀號和切齒。	²⁸There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
²⁹將有從東從西，從北從南而來的人，在天主的國裏坐席。	²⁹And there shall come from the east and the west, and the north and the south; and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
³⁰看罷！有最後的將成為最先的，也有最先的將成為最後的。」	³⁰And behold, they are last that shall be first; and they are first that shall be last.
³¹這時刻，有幾個法利塞人前來給耶穌說：「你離開這裏走罷！因為黑落德要殺你。」	³¹The same day, there came some of the Pharisees, saying to him: Depart, and get thee hence, for Herod hath a mind to kill thee.
³²耶穌給他們說：「你們去告訴這個狐狸罷！看，我今天明天驅魔治病，第三天就要完畢。	³²And he said to them: Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I am consummated.
³³但是，今天明天以及後天，我必須前行，因為先知不宜死在耶路撒冷之外。	³³Nevertheless I must walk today and tomorrow, and the day following, because it cannot be that a prophet perish, out of Jerusalem.
³⁴耶路撒冷，耶路撒冷，你屢次殘殺先知，用石頭擊斃那些奉命到你這裏來的人；我多少次願意聚集你的子女，如母雞聚集自己的雛雞，在牠翅翼下，可是你們偏不願意。	³⁴Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee, how often would I have gathered thy children as the bird doth her brood under her wings, and thou wouldest not?
³⁵看罷！你們的房屋必給你們撇下；但是，我告訴你們：你們斷不能再看見我，直到你們說：因主名而來的，當受讚頌的時刻來到。」	³⁵Behold your house shall be left to you desolate. And I say to you, that you shall not see me till the time come, when you shall say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
