¹耶穌進了耶里哥，正經過的時候，	¹And entering in, he walked through Jericho.
²有一個人，名叫匝凱，他原是稅吏長，是個富有的人。	²And behold, there was a man named Zacheus, who was the chief of the publicans, and he was rich.
³他想要看看耶穌是什麼人；但由於人多，不能看見，因為他身材短小。	³And he sought to see Jesus who he was, and he could not for the crowd, because he was low of stature.
⁴於是他往前奔跑，攀上了一棵野桑樹，要看看耶穌，因為耶穌就要從那裏經過。	⁴And running before, he climbed up into a sycamore tree, that he might see him; for he was to pass that way.
⁵耶穌來到那地方，抬頭一看，對他說：「匝凱，你快下來！因為我今天必須住在你家中。」	⁵And when Jesus was come to the place, looking up, he saw him, and said to him: Zacheus, make haste and come down; for this day I must abide in thy house.
⁶他便趕快下來，喜悅地款留耶穌。	⁶And he made haste and came down; and received him with joy.
⁷眾人見了，都竊竊私議說：「他竟到有罪的人那裏投宿。」	⁷And when all saw it, they murmured, saying, that he was gone to be a guest with a man that was a sinner.
⁸匝凱站起來對主說：「主，你看，我把我財物的一半施捨給窮人；我如果欺騙過誰，我就以四倍賠償。」	⁸But Zacheus standing, said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wronged any man of any thing, I restore him fourfold.
⁹耶穌對他說：「今天救恩臨到了這一家，因為他也是亞巴郎之子。	⁹Jesus said to him: This day is salvation come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
¹⁰因為人子來，是為尋找及拯救迷失了的人。」	¹⁰For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
¹¹眾人聽這話的時候，耶穌因為已臨近耶路撒冷，而且他們都以為天主的國快要出現，遂設了一個比喻，	¹¹As they were hearing these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately be manifested.
¹²說：「有一個貴人起身到遠方去，為取得了王位再回來。	¹²He said therefore: A certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
¹³他將自己的十個僕人叫來，交給他們十個『米納』，並囑咐說：你們拿去做生意，直到我回來。	¹³And calling his ten servants, he gave them ten pounds, and said to them: Trade till I come.
¹⁴他本國的人，一向懷恨他，遂在他後面派代表去說：我們不願意這人為王統治我們。	¹⁴But his citizens hated him: and they sent an embassage after him, saying: We will not have this man to reign over us.
¹⁵他得了王位歸來以後，便傳令將那些領了他錢的僕人給他召來，想知道每個人做生意賺了多少。	¹⁵And it came to pass, that he returned, having received the kingdom: and he commanded his servants to be called, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
¹⁶第一個前來說：主，你的那個『米納』賺了十個『米納』。	¹⁶And the first came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
¹⁷主人給他說：好，善僕！你既然在小事上忠信，你要有權掌管十座城。	¹⁷And he said to him: Well done, thou good servant, because thou hast been faithful in a little, thou shalt have power over ten cities.
¹⁸第二個前來說：主，你的那個『米納』賺了五個『米納』。	¹⁸And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
¹⁹主人也給這人說：你也要掌管五座城。	¹⁹And he said to him: Be thou also over five cities.
²⁰另一個前來說：主，看，你那個『米納』，我收存在手巾裏。	²⁰And another came, saying: Lord, behold here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin;
²¹我一向害怕你，因為你是一個嚴厲的人：你沒有存放的，也要提取；沒有下種的，也要收割。	²¹For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou didst not lay down, and thou reapest that which thou didst not sow.
²²主人向他說：惡僕！我就憑你的口供定你的罪。你不是知道我是個嚴厲的人，沒有存放的，也要提取；沒有下種的，也要收割的嗎？	²²He saith to him: Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow:
²³為什麼你不把我的錢存於錢莊？迨我回來時，我可以連本帶利取出來。	²³And why then didst thou not give my money into the bank, that at my coming, I might have exacted it with usury?
²⁴主人便向侍立左右的人說：你們把他那個『米納』奪過來，給那有十個的。	²⁴And he said to them that stood by: Take the pound away from him, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
²⁵他們向他說：主，他已有十個『米納』了。	²⁵And they said to him: Lord, he hath ten pounds.
²⁶我告訴你們：凡是有的，還要給他；那沒有的，連他所有的，也要從他奪去。	²⁶But I say to you, that to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: and from him that hath not, even that which he hath, shall be taken from him.
²⁷至於那些敵對我，不願意我作他們君王的人，你們把他們押到這裏，在我面前殺掉。」	²⁷But as for those my enemies, who would not have me reign over them, bring them hither, and kill them before me.
²⁸耶穌說了這些話，就領頭前行，上耶路撒冷去了。	²⁸And having said these things, he went before, going up to Jerusalem.
²⁹及至臨近貝特法革和伯達尼，在一座名叫橄欖山那裏，耶穌派遣兩個門徒說：	²⁹And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethania, unto the mount called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
³⁰「你們往對面的村莊裏去，一進村，就會看見一匹拴着的驢駒，從來沒有人騎過，把牠解開，牽來。	³⁰Saying: Go into the town which is over against you, at your entering into which you shall find the colt of an ass tied, on which no man ever hath sitten: loose him, and bring him hither.
³¹如果有人問你們說：你們為什麼解牠？你們要這樣說：主要用牠。」	³¹And if any man shall ask you: Why do you loose him? you shall say thus unto him: Because the Lord hath need of his service.
³²被派的人去了，所遇見的，正如對他們說過的一樣。	³²And they that were sent, went their way, and found the colt standing, as he had said unto them.
³³他們正在解驢駒的時候，驢駒的主人對他們說：「你們為什麼解這驢駒？」	³³And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said to them: Why loose you the colt?
³⁴他們說：「主要用牠。」	³⁴But they said: Because the Lord hath need of him.
³⁵他們遂把驢駒牽到耶穌跟前，把他們的外衣搭在驢駒上，扶耶穌騎上。	³⁵And they brought him to Jesus. And casting their garments on the colt, they set Jesus thereon.
³⁶前行的時候，人們把自己的外衣舖在路上。	³⁶And as he went, they spread their clothes underneath in the way.
³⁷當他臨近橄欖山的下坡時，眾門徒為了所見過的一切奇能，都歡欣的大聲頌揚天主說：	³⁷And when he was now coming near the descent of mount Olivet, the whole multitude of his disciples began with joy to praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty works they had seen,
³⁸「因上主之名而來的君王，應受讚頌！和平在天上，光榮於高天！」	³⁸Saying: Blessed be the king who cometh in the name of the Lord, peace in heaven, and glory on high!
³⁹人群中有幾個法利塞人對耶穌說：「師傅，責斥你的門徒罷！」	³⁹And some of the Pharisees, from amongst the multitude, said to him: Master, rebuke thy disciples.
⁴⁰耶穌回答說：「我告訴你們：這些人若不作聲，石頭就要喊叫了！」	⁴⁰To whom he said: I say to you, that if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.
⁴¹耶穌臨近的時候，望見京城，便哀哭她說：	⁴¹And when he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying:
⁴²「恨不能在這一天，你也知道有關你平安的事；但這事如今在你眼前是隱藏的。	⁴²If thou also hadst known, and that in this thy day, the things that are to thy peace; but now they are hidden from thy eyes.
⁴³的確，日子將臨於你，你的仇敵要在你四周築起壁壘，包圍你，四面窘困你；	⁴³For the days shall come upon thee, and thy enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and straiten thee on every side,
⁴⁴又要蕩平你，及在你內的子民；在你內決不留一塊石頭在另一塊石頭上，因為你沒有認識眷顧你的時期。」	⁴⁴And beat thee flat to the ground, and thy children who are in thee: and they shall not leave in thee a stone upon a stone: because thou hast not known the time of thy visitation.
⁴⁵耶穌進了殿院，開始把買賣人趕出去。	⁴⁵And entering into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought.
⁴⁶對他們說：「經上記載：我的殿宇應是祈禱之所，而你們竟把它做了賊窩。」	⁴⁶Saying to them: It is written: My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves.
⁴⁷耶穌每天在聖殿內施教。司祭長及經師並人民的首領，設法要除掉他；	⁴⁷And he was teaching daily in the temple. And the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy him:
⁴⁸但是尋不出什麼辦法，因為眾百姓都傾心聽他。	⁴⁸And they found not what to do to him: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
