¹耶穌從那裏起身，來到猶太境界，約但河的對岸，群眾又聚集到他那裏，他又照常教訓他們。	¹And rising up from thence, he cometh into the coasts of Judea beyond the Jordan: and the multitudes flock to him again. And as he was accustomed, he taught them again.
²有些法利塞人前來問耶穌：許不許丈夫休妻？意思是要試探他。	²And the Pharisees coming to him asked him: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
³耶穌回答他們說：「梅瑟吩咐了你們什麼？」	³But he answering, saith to them: What did Moses command you?
⁴他們說：「梅瑟准許了寫休書休妻。」	⁴Who said: Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce, and to put her away.
⁵耶穌對他們說：「這是為了你們的心硬，他纔給你們寫下了這條法令。	⁵To whom Jesus answering, said: Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you that precept.
⁶但是，從創造之初，天主造了他們一男一女。	⁶But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
⁷為此，人要離開他的父母，依附自己的妻子，	⁷For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall cleave to his wife.
⁸二人成為一體，以致他們再不是兩個，而是一體了。	⁸And they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh.
⁹所以，天主所結合的，人不可拆散。」	⁹What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
¹⁰回到家裏，門徒又問他這事，	¹⁰And in the house again his disciples asked him concerning the same thing.
¹¹耶穌對他們說：「誰若休自己的妻子而另娶，就是犯姦淫，辜負妻子；	¹¹And he saith to them: Whosoever shall put away his wife and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
¹²若妻子離棄自己的丈夫而另嫁，也是犯姦淫。」	¹²And if the wife shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
¹³有人給耶穌領來一些小孩子，要他撫摸他們；門徒卻斥責他們。	¹³And they brought to him young children, that he might touch them. And the disciples rebuked them that brought them.
¹⁴耶穌見了，就生了氣，對他們說：「讓小孩子到我跟前來，不要阻止他們！因為天主的國正屬於這樣的人。	¹⁴Whom when Jesus saw, he was much displeased, and saith to them: Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God.
¹⁵我實在告訴你們：誰若不像小孩子一樣接受天主的國，決不能進去。」	¹⁵Amen I say to you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall not enter into it.
¹⁶耶穌遂抱起他們來，給他們覆手，祝福了他們。	¹⁶And embracing them, and laying his hands upon them, he blessed them.
¹⁷正在耶穌出來行路時，跑來了一個人，跪在他面前，問他說：「善師，為承受永生，我該作什麼？」	¹⁷And when he was gone forth into the way, a certain man running up and kneeling before him, asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may receive life everlasting?
¹⁸耶穌對他說：「你為什麼稱我善？除了天主一個外，沒有誰是善的。	¹⁸And Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? None is good but one, that is God.
¹⁹誡命你都知道：不可殺人，不可奸淫，不可偷盜，不可做假見證，不可欺詐，應孝敬你的父母。」	¹⁹Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, bear not false witness, do no fraud, honour thy father and mother.
²⁰他回答耶穌說：「師傅！這一切我從小就都遵守了。」	²⁰But he answering, said to him: Master, all these things I have observed from my youth.
²¹耶穌定睛看他，就喜愛他，對他說：「你還缺少一樣：你去，變賣你所有的一切，施捨給窮人，你必有寶藏在天上，然後來，【背着十字架，】跟隨我！」	²¹And Jesus looking on him, loved him, and said to him: One thing is wanting unto thee: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
²²因了這話，那人就面帶愁容，憂鬱地走了，因為他有許多產業。	²²Who being struck sad at that saying, went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
²³耶穌周圍一看，對自己的門徒說：「那些有錢財的人，進天主的國是多麼難啊！」	²³And Jesus looking round about, saith to his disciples: How hardly shall they that have riches, enter into the kingdom of God!
²⁴門徒就都驚奇他這句話。耶穌又對他們說：「孩子們！仗恃錢財的人，進天主的國是多麼難啊！	²⁴And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus again answering, saith to them: Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God?
²⁵駱駝穿過針孔，比富有的人進天主的國還容易。」	²⁵It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
²⁶他們就更加驚奇，彼此說：「這樣，誰還能得救？」	²⁶Who wondered the more, saying among themselves: Who then can be saved?
²⁷耶穌注視他們說：「在人不可能，在天主卻不然，因為在天主，一切都是可能的。」	²⁷And Jesus looking on them, saith: With men it is impossible; but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
²⁸伯多祿開口對他說：「看，我們捨棄了一切，而跟隨了你。」	²⁸And Peter began to say unto him: Behold, we have left all things, and have followed thee.
²⁹耶穌回答說：「我實在告訴你們：人為了我，為了福音，而捨棄了房屋、或兄弟、或姊妹、或母親、或父親、或兒女、或田地，	²⁹Jesus answering, said: Amen I say to you, there is no man who hath left house or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for my sake and for the gospel,
³⁰沒有不在今時就得百倍的房屋、兄弟、姊妹、母親、兒女、田地──連迫害也在內，並在來世獲得永生的。	³⁰Who shall not receive an hundred times as much, now in this time; houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions: and in the world to come life everlasting.
³¹但有許多在先的，要成為在後的；在後的，要成為在先的。」	³¹But many that are first, shall be last: and the last, first.
³²那時，他們在路上，要上耶路撒冷去，耶穌在門徒前頭走，他們都驚奇，跟隨的人也都害怕。耶穌又把那十二人帶到一邊，開始告訴他們那將要臨到他身上的事：	³²And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem: and Jesus went before them, and they were astonished; and following were afraid. And taking again the twelve, he began to tell them the things that should befall him.
³³「看，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交於司祭長和經師；他們要定他的死罪，要把他交給外邦人；	³³Saying: Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be betrayed to the chief priests, and to the scribes and ancients, and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles.
³⁴這些人要戲弄他，唾污他，鞭打他，殺害他；但三天以後，他必要復活。」	³⁴And they shall mock him, and spit on him, and scourge him, and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
³⁵載伯德的兒子雅各伯和若望走到耶穌跟前，對他說；「師傅！我們願你允許我們的要求！」	³⁵And James and John the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying: Master, we desire that whatsoever we shall ask, thou wouldst do it for us:
³⁶耶穌對他們說：「你們願意我給你們做什麼？」	³⁶But he said to them: What would you that I should do for you?
³⁷他們回答說：「賜我們在你的光榮中，一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」	³⁷And they said: Grant to us, that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
³⁸耶穌對他們說：「你們不知道你們所求的是什麼；你們能飲我飲的爵嗎？或者，你們能受我受的洗嗎？」	³⁸And Jesus said to them: You know not what you ask. Can you drink of the chalice that I drink of: or be baptized with the baptism wherewith I am baptized?
³⁹他們對他說：「我們能。」耶穌就對他們說：「我飲的爵，你們必要飲；我受的洗，你們必要受；	³⁹But they said to him: We can. And Jesus saith to them: You shall indeed drink of the chalice that I drink of: and with the baptism wherewith I am baptized, you shall be baptized.
⁴⁰但坐在我右邊或左邊，不是我可以給的，而是給誰預備了，就給誰。」	⁴⁰But to sit on my right hand, or on my left, is not mine to give to you, but to them for whom it is prepared.
⁴¹那十個聽了，就開始惱怒雅各伯和若望。	⁴¹And the ten hearing it, began to be much displeased at James and John.
⁴²耶穌叫門徒過來，對他們說：「你們知道：在外邦人中，有尊為首領的，主宰他們，有大臣管轄他們；	⁴²But Jesus calling them, saith to them: You know that they who seem to rule over the Gentiles, lord it over them: and their princes have power over them.
⁴³但你們中間，卻不可這樣：誰若願意在你們中間成為大的，就當作你們的僕役；	⁴³But it is not so among you: but whosoever will be greater, shall be your minister.
⁴⁴誰若願意在你們中間為首，就當作眾人的奴僕，	⁴⁴And whosoever will be first among you, shall be the servant of all.
⁴⁵因為人子，不是來受服事，而是來服事人，並交出自己的性命，為大眾作贖價。」	⁴⁵For the Son of man also is not come to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a redemption for many.
⁴⁶他們來到了耶里哥。耶穌和他的門徒及一大群人，從耶里哥出來的時候，有一個瞎眼的乞丐，即提買的兒子巴爾提買坐在路旁。	⁴⁶And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho, with his disciples, and a very great multitude, Bartimeus the blind man, the son of Timeus, sat by the way side begging.
⁴⁷他一聽說是納匝肋人耶穌，就喊叫說：「耶穌，達味之子，可憐我罷！」	⁴⁷Who when he had heard, that it was Jesus of Nazareth, began to cry out, and to say: Jesus son of David, have mercy on me.
⁴⁸有許多人就斥責他，叫他不要作聲；但他越發喊叫說：「達味之子，可憐我罷！」	⁴⁸And many rebuked him, that he might hold his peace; but he cried a great deal the more: Son of David, have mercy on me.
⁴⁹耶穌就站住說：「叫他過來！」人就叫那瞎子，給他說：「放心！起來！他叫你呢！」	⁴⁹And Jesus, standing still, commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying to him: Be of better comfort: arise, he calleth thee.
⁵⁰瞎子就仍下自己的外衣，跳起來，走到耶穌跟前。	⁵⁰Who casting off his garment leaped up, and came to him.
⁵¹耶穌對他說：「你願意我給你做什麼？」瞎子說：「師傅！叫我看見！」	⁵¹And Jesus answering, said to him: What wilt thou that I should do to thee? And the blind man said to him: Rabboni, that I may see.
⁵²耶穌對他說：「去罷！你的信德救了你。」瞎子立刻看見了，就在路上跟着耶穌去了。	⁵²And Jesus saith to him: Go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he saw, and followed him in the way.
