¹當他們將近耶路撒冷，到了貝特法革和伯達尼，在橄欖山那裏時，耶穌就打發兩個門徒，	¹And when they were drawing near to Jerusalem and to Bethania at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples,
²對他們說：「你們往對面的村莊裏去，一進村莊，立時會看見一匹拴着的驢駒，是從來沒有人騎過的；把牠解開牽來。	²And saith to them: Go into the village that is over against you, and immediately at your coming in thither, you shall find a colt tied, upon which no man yet hath sat: loose him, and bring him.
³若有人對你們說：你們做什麼？你們就說：主要用牠，但是會立刻把他牽回這裏來。」	³And if any man shall say to you, What are you doing? say ye that the Lord hath need of him: and immediately he will let him come hither.
⁴他們去了，便見一匹驢駒，拴在門外街道上，就把牠解開。	⁴And going their way, they found the colt tied before the gate without, in the meeting of two ways: and they loose him.
⁵在那裏站着的人，有人對他們說：「你們解開驢駒作什麼？」	⁵And some of them that stood there, said to them: What do you loosing the colt?
⁶門徒就按照耶穌所吩咐的對他們說了；那些人遂容許了他們。	⁶Who said to them as Jesus had commanded them; and they let him go with them.
⁷他們把驢駒牽到耶穌跟前，把自己的外衣搭在上面，耶穌就騎了上去。	⁷And they brought the colt to Jesus; and they lay their garments on him, and he sat upon him.
⁸有許多人把自己的外衣，另有些人把從田間砍來的綠樹枝，舖在路上，	⁸And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down boughs from the trees, and strewed them in the way.
⁹前行後隨的人，都喊着說：「賀三納！因上主之名而來的，應受讚頌！	⁹And they that went before and they that followed, cried, saying: Hosanna, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
¹⁰那要來的我們祖先達味之國，應受讚頌！賀三納於至高之天！」	¹⁰Blessed be the kingdom of our father David that cometh: Hosanna in the highest.
¹¹耶穌進了耶路撒冷，到聖殿裏，周圍察看了一切，時辰已晚，遂同十二門徒出來，往伯達尼去了。	¹¹And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple: and having viewed all things round about, when now the eventide was come, he went out to Bethania with the twelve.
¹²第二天，他們從伯達尼出來，耶穌餓了。	¹²And the next day when they came out from Bethania, he was hungry.
¹³他從遠處望見了一棵茂盛的無花果樹，就上前去，看是否在樹上可以找到什麼；及至走到那裏，除了葉子外，什麼也沒有找着，因為還不是無花果的時節。	¹³And when he had seen afar off a fig tree having leaves, he came if perhaps he might find any thing on it. And when he was come to it, he found nothing but leaves. For it was not the time for figs.
¹⁴耶穌就開口對它說：「永遠再沒有人吃你的果子了！」他的門徒也都聽見了。	¹⁴And answering he said to it: May no man hereafter eat fruit of thee any more for ever. And his disciples heard it.
¹⁵他們來到耶路撒冷。耶穌一進殿院，就開始把在殿院裏的買賣人趕出去，把錢莊的桌子和賣鴿子的凳子推翻，	¹⁵And they came to Jerusalem. And when he was entered into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the chairs of them that sold doves.
¹⁶也不許人帶着器皿由殿院裏經過，	¹⁶And he suffered not that any man should carry a vessel through the temple;
¹⁷教訓他們說：「經上不是記載：『我的殿宇將稱為萬民的祈禱之所』麼？你們竟把它作成了賊窩！」	¹⁷And he taught, saying to them: Is it not written, My house shall be called the house of prayer to all nations? But you have made it a den of thieves.
¹⁸司祭長和經師聽了，就設法要怎樣除掉他，卻又害怕他，因為全群眾對他的教訓都驚奇不已。	¹⁸Which when the chief priests and the scribes had heard, they sought how they might destroy him. For they feared him, because the whole multitude was in admiration at his doctrine.
¹⁹到了晚上，他們就出了城。	¹⁹And when evening was come, he went forth out of the city.
²⁰早晨，他們從那裏經過時，看見那棵無花果樹連根都枯乾了。	²⁰And when they passed by in the morning they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
²¹伯多祿想起來，就對耶穌說：「師傅！看，你所咒罵的無花果樹已枯乾了。」	²¹And Peter remembering, said to him: Rabbi, behold the fig tree, which thou didst curse, is withered away.
²²耶穌回答他們說：「你們對天主當有信德！	²²And Jesus answering, saith to them: Have the faith of God.
²³我實在告訴你們：無論誰對這座山說：起來，投到海裏去！他心裏若不懷疑，反相信他說的必成就，就必給他成就。	²³Amen I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not stagger in his heart, but believe, that whatsoever he saith shall be done; it shall be done unto him.
²⁴因此，我告訴你們：你們祈禱，不論求什麼，只要你們相信必得，必給你們成就。	²⁴Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive; and they shall come unto you.
²⁵當你們立着祈禱時，若你們有什麼怨人的事，就寬恕罷！好叫你們在天之父，也寬恕你們的過犯。」＊	²⁵And when you shall stand to pray, forgive, if you have aught against any man; that your Father also, who is in heaven, may forgive you your sins.
²⁶他們又來到耶路撒冷。當耶穌在殿裏徘徊時，司祭長、經師和長老來到他跟前，	²⁶But if you will not forgive, neither will your Father that is in heaven, forgive you your sins.
²⁷對他說：「你憑什麼權柄作這些事？或者，是誰給了你權柄作這些事？」	²⁷And they come again to Jerusalem. And when he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests and the scribes and the ancients,
²⁸耶穌對他們說：「我也要問你們一句話，你們回答我，我就告訴你們：我憑什麼權柄作這些事。	²⁸And they say to him: By what authority dost thou these things? and who hath given thee this authority that thou shouldst do these things?
²⁹若翰的洗禮是從天上來的，還是從人來的？答覆我罷！」	²⁹And Jesus answering, said to them: I will also ask you one word, and answer you me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
³⁰他們心中思量說：「若我們說：是從天上來的，他就要說：那麼你們為什麼不信他？	³⁰The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me.
³¹但我們怎敢說：是從人來的呢？」──他們是害怕民眾，因為眾人都以若翰實在是一位先知。	³¹But they thought with themselves, saying: If we say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did you not believe him?
³²他們便回答耶穌說：「我們不知道。」耶穌也對他們說：「我也不告訴你們：我憑什麼權柄作這些事。」	³²If we say, From men, we fear the people. For all men counted John that he was a prophet indeed.
³³	³³And they answering, say to Jesus: We know not. And Jesus answering, saith to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
