| 1耶穌從聖殿裏出來的時候，他的門徒中有一個對他說：「師傅！看，這是何等的石頭！何等的建築！」 | 1And as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him: Master, behold what manner of stones and what buildings are here. |
| 2耶穌對他說：「你看見這些偉大的建築嗎？將來這裏決沒有一塊石頭留在另一塊石頭上，而不被拆毀的。」 | 2And Jesus answering, said to him: Seest thou all these great buildings? There shall not be left a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down. |
| 3耶穌在橄欖山上，面對聖殿坐着的時候，伯多祿、雅各伯、若望和安德肋私下問他說： | 3And as he sat on the mount of Olivet over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him apart: |
| 4「請告訴我們：什麼時候發生這些事？這一切事要完成時，將有什麼先兆？」 | 4Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall begin to be fulfilled? |
| 5耶穌就開始對他們說：「你們要謹慎，免得有人欺騙了你們。 | 5And Jesus answering, began to say to them, Take heed lest any man deceive you. |
| 6將有許多人假冒我的名字來說：我就是（默西亞）；並且要欺騙許多人。 | 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and they shall deceive many. |
| 7當你們聽到戰爭和戰爭的風聲時，不要驚慌，因為這是必須發生的，但還不是結局。 | 7And when you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, fear ye not. For such things must needs be, but the end is not yet. |
| 8因為民族要起來攻擊民族，國家攻擊國家；到處要有地震，要有饑荒；但這只是苦痛的開始。」 | 8For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and famines. These things are the beginning of sorrows. |
| 9「你們自己要謹慎！人要把你們解送到公議會，你們在會堂裏要受鞭打，並且也要為我的原故，站在總督和君王面前，對他們作證。 | 9But look to yourselves. For they shall deliver you up to councils, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten, and you shall stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony unto them. |
| 10但福音必須先傳於萬國。 | 10And unto all nations the gospel must first be preached. |
| 11人把你們拉去解送到法庭時，你們不要預先思慮該說什麼；在那時刻賜給你們什麼話，你們就說什麼，因為說話的不是你們，而是聖神。 | 11And when they shall lead you and deliver you up, be not thoughtful beforehand what you shall speak; but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye. For it is not you that speak, but the Holy Ghost. |
| 12兄弟將把兄弟，父親將把兒子置於死地；兒女將起來反對父母，把他們處死。 | 12And the brother shall betray his brother unto death, and the father his son; and children shall rise up against the parents, and shall work their death. |
| 13你們為了我的名字，將為眾人所惱恨；但那堅持到底的，必要得救。」 | 13And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake. But he that shall endure unto the end, he shall be saved. |
| 14「幾時你們看見那『招致荒涼的可憎之物』立在不應在的地方──讀者應明白；那時在猶太的，該逃往山中； | 14And when you shall see the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not: he that readeth let him understand: then let them that are in Judea, flee unto the mountains: |
| 15在屋頂上的，不要下來，也不要進去，從屋裏取什麼東西； | 15And let him that is on the housetop, not go down into the house, nor enter therein to take any thing out of the house: |
| 16在田地裏的，不要回來取自己的外衣。 | 16And let him that shall be in the field, not turn back to take up his garment. |
| 17在那些日子裏，懷孕的和哺乳的是有禍的！ | 17And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days. |
| 18但你們當祈禱，不要叫這事逢到冬天。」 | 18But pray ye, that these things happen not in winter. |
| 19「因為在那些日子裏，必有災難，這是從天主創造開始，直到如今從未有過的，將來也不會再有。 | 19For in those days shall be such tribulations, as were not from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, neither shall be. |
| 20若不是上主縮短了那些時日，凡有血肉的人都不會得救；但為了他所揀選的被選者，他縮短了那些時日。 | 20And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect which he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. |
| 21那時，若有人對你們說：看，默西亞在這裏！看，在那裏！你們不要相信！ | 21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; lo, he is here: do not believe. |
| 22因為將有假默西亞和假先知興起，行異跡和奇事，如果可能的話，他們連被選者都要欺騙。 | 22For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect. |
| 23所以，你們要謹慎！看，凡事我都預先告訴了你們！ | 23Take you heed therefore; behold I have foretold you all things. |
| 24但是，在那些日子裏，在那災難以後，太陽將要昏暗，月亮不再發光； | 24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light. |
| 25星辰要從天上墜下，天上的萬象也要動搖。 | 25And the stars of heaven shall be falling down, and the powers that are in heaven, shall be moved. |
| 26那時，人要看見人子帶着大威能和光榮乘雲降來。 | 26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with great power and glory. |
| 27那時，他要派遣天使，由四方，從地極到天邊，聚集他的被選者。」 | 27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. |
| 28「你們應由無花果樹取個比喻：幾時它的枝條已經發嫩，生出葉子，你們就知道夏天近了。 | 28Now of the fig tree learn ye a parable. When the branch thereof is now tender, and the leaves are come forth, you know that summer is very near. |
| 29同樣，你們幾時看見這些事發生了，就該知道：他已近在門口了。 | 29So you also when you shall see these things come to pass, know ye that it is very nigh, even at the doors. |
| 30我實在告訴你們：非到這一切發生了，這一世代決不會過去。 | 30Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, until all these things be done. |
| 31天地要過去，但是我的話決不會過去。 | 31Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. |
| 32至於那日子和那時刻，除了父以外，誰也不知道，連天上的天使和子都不知道。」 | 32But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father. |
| 33「你們要當心，要醒寤，因為你們不知道那日期什麼時候來到。 | 33Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is. |
| 34正如一個遠行的人，離開自己的家時，把權柄交給了自己的僕人，每人有每人的工作；又囑咐看門的須要醒寤。 | 34Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch. |
| 35所以，你們要醒寤，因為你們不知道，家主什麼時候回來：或許傍晚，或許夜半，或許雞叫，或許清晨； | 35Watch ye therefore, (for you know not when the lord of the house cometh: at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning,) |
| 36免得他忽然來到，遇見你們正在睡覺。 | 36Lest coming on a sudden, he find you sleeping. |
| 37我對你們說的，我也對眾人說：你們要醒寤。」 | 37And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch. |
