馬爾谷福音	Mark
¹當那些日子，又有一大群人，沒有什麼吃的了。耶穌叫過門徒來，給他們說：	¹In those days again, when there was a great multitude, and had nothing to eat; calling his disciples together, he saith to them:
²「我很憐憫這批群眾，因為他們同我在一起已經三天，也沒有什麼可吃的了。	²I have compassion on the multitude, for behold they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat.
³我若遣散他們空着肚子各自回家，他們必要在路上暈倒；況且他們中還有些是從遠處來的。」	³And if I shall send them away fasting to their home, they will faint in the way; for some of them came from afar off.
⁴門徒回答說：「在這荒野裏，人從那裏能得餅，使這些人吃飽呢？」	⁴And his disciples answered him: From whence can any one fill them here with bread in the wilderness?
⁵耶穌問他們說：「你們有多少餅？」他們說：「七個。」	⁵And he asked them: How many loaves have ye? Who said: Seven.
⁶耶穌就吩咐群眾坐在地上，拿起那七個餅來，祝謝了，擘開，遞給他的門徒，叫他們分開；他們就給群眾分開。	⁶And taking the seven loaves, giving thanks, he broke, and gave to his disciples for to set before them; and they set them before the people.
⁷又有幾條小魚，耶穌祝福後，也吩咐把這些小魚分開。	⁷And they had a few little fishes; and he blessed them, and commanded them to be set before them.
⁸人都吃飽了，把剩下來的碎塊收集了七籃子。	⁸And they did eat and were filled; and they took up that which was left of the fragments, seven baskets.
⁹人數約有四千；然後耶穌遣散了他們，	⁹And they that had eaten were about four thousand; and he sent them away.
¹⁰即刻同門徒上船，來到了達瑪奴達境內。	¹⁰And immediately going up into a ship with his disciples, he came into the parts of Dalmanutha.
¹¹法利塞人出來，開始和他辯論，向他要求一個來自天上的徵兆，想試探他。	¹¹And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, asking him a sign from heaven, tempting him.
¹²耶穌從心裏歎息說：「為什麼這一世代要求徵兆？我實在告訴你們，必不給這世代一個徵兆！」	¹²And sighing deeply in spirit, he saith: Why doth this generation seek a sign? Amen, I say to you, a sign shall not be given to this generation.
¹³他就離開他們，再上船往對岸去了。	¹³And leaving them, he went up again into the ship, and passed to the other side of the water.
¹⁴門徒忘了帶餅，在船上除了一個餅外，隨身沒有帶別的食物。	¹⁴And they forgot to take bread; and they had but one loaf with them in the ship.
¹⁵耶穌囑咐他們說：「你們應當謹慎，提防法利塞人的酵母和黑落德的酵母。」	¹⁵And he charged them, saying: Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.
¹⁶他們彼此議論：他們沒有餅了。	¹⁶And they reasoned among themselves, saying: Because we have no bread.
¹⁷耶穌看出來了，就對他們說：「為什麼你們議論沒有餅了？你們還不明白，還不瞭解嗎？你們的心仍然遲鈍嗎？	¹⁷Which Jesus knowing, saith to them: Why do you reason, because you have no bread? do you not yet know nor understand? have you still your heart blinded?
¹⁸你們有眼看不見，有耳聽不見嗎？你們不記得：	¹⁸Having eyes, see you not? and having ears, hear you not? neither do you remember.
¹⁹當我擘開五個餅給五千人的時候，你們收滿了幾筐碎塊？」他們回答說：「十二筐。」	¹⁹When I broke the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took you up? They say to him, Twelve.
²⁰「還有，七個餅給四千人的時候，你們收滿了幾籃碎塊？」他們回答說：「七籃。」	²⁰When also the seven loaves among four thousand, how many baskets of fragments took you up? And they say to him, Seven.
²¹於是耶穌對他們說：「你們還不瞭解嗎？」	²¹And he said to them: How do you not yet understand?
²²他們來到貝特賽達，有人給耶穌送來一個瞎子，求他撫摸他。	²²And they came to Bethsaida; and they bring to him a blind man, and they besought him that he would touch him.
²³耶穌便拉着瞎子的手，領他到村外，在他的眼上吐了唾沬，然後又給他覆手，問他說：「你看見什麼沒有？」	²³And taking the blind man by the hand, he led him out of the town; and spitting upon his eyes, laying his hands on him, he asked him if he saw any thing.
²⁴他舉目一望，說：「我看見人，見他們好像樹木在行走。」	²⁴And looking up, he said: I see men as it were trees, walking.
²⁵然後，耶穌又按手在他的眼上，他定睛一看，就復了原，竟能清清楚楚看見一切。	²⁵After that again he laid his hands upon his eyes, and he began to see, and was restored, so that he saw all things clearly.
²⁶耶穌打發他回家去說：「連這村莊你也不要進去。」	²⁶And he sent him into his house, saying: Go into thy house, and if thou enter into the town, tell nobody.
²⁷耶穌和他的門徒起身，往斐理伯的凱撒勒雅附近的村莊去；在路上問自己的門徒說：「人們說我是誰？」	²⁷And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi. And in the way, he asked his disciples, saying to them: Whom do men say that I am?
²⁸他們回答說：「是洗者若翰；也有些人說是厄里亞；還有些人說是先知中的一位。」	²⁸Who answered him, saying: John the Baptist; but some Elias, and others as one of the prophets.
²⁹耶穌又問他們說：「你們說我是誰呢？」伯多祿回答說：「你是默西亞。」	²⁹Then he saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? Peter answering said to him: Thou art the Christ.
³⁰耶穌就嚴禁他們，不要向任何人談及他。	³⁰And he strictly charged them that they should not tell any man of him.
³¹耶穌便開始教訓他們：人子必須受許多苦，被長老、司祭長和經師棄絕，且要被殺害；但三天以後必要復活。	³¹And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the ancients and by the high priests, and the scribes, and be killed: and after three days rise again.
³²耶穌明明說了這話。伯多祿便拉他到一邊，開始諫責他。	³²And he spoke the word openly. And Peter taking him, began to rebuke him.
³³耶穌卻轉過身來，注視着自己的門徒，責斥伯多祿說：「撒殫，退到我後面去！因為你所體會的，不是天主的事，而是人的事。」	³³Who turning about and seeing his disciples, threatened Peter, saying: Go behind me, Satan, because thou savorest not the things that are of God, but that are of men.
³⁴他遂召集群眾和門徒來，對他們說：「誰若願意跟隨我，該棄絕自己，背着自己的十字架，跟隨我，	³⁴And calling the multitude together with his disciples, he said to them: If any man will follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
³⁵因為誰若願意救自己的性命，必要喪失性命；但誰若為我和福音的原故，喪失自己的性命，必要救得性命。	³⁵For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel, shall save it.
³⁶人縱然賺得了全世界而賠上自己的靈魂，為他有什麼益處？	³⁶For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?
³⁷人還能拿什麼作為自己靈魂的代價？	³⁷Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
³⁸誰若在這淫亂和罪惡的世代中，以我和我的話為恥，將來人子在他父的光榮中，同諸聖天使降來時，也要以他為恥。」	³⁸For he that shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation: the Son of man also will be ashamed of him, when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
³⁹	³⁹And he said to them: Amen I say to you, that there are some of them that stand here, who shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God coming in power.
