| 1那時，耶穌在安息日由麥田中經過：他的門徒餓了，開始掐麥穗吃。 | 1At that time Jesus went through the corn on the sabbath: and his disciples being hungry, began to pluck the ears, and to eat. |
| 2法利塞人一見，便對他說：「看，你的門徒作安息日不許作的事。」 | 2And the Pharisees seeing them, said to him: Behold thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days. |
| 3耶穌對他們說：「你們沒有念過：達味與那些同他在一起的人，饑餓時，作了什麼？ | 3But he said to them: Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and they that were with him: |
| 4他怎樣進了天主的殿，吃了供餅？這供餅原是不准他吃，也不准同他在一起的人吃，而是只許司祭吃的。 | 4How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the loaves of proposition, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for them that were with him, but for the priests only? |
| 5或者你們在法律上沒有念過：安息日，司祭在聖殿內違犯了安息日，也不算為罪過嗎？ | 5Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple break the sabbath, and are without blame? |
| 6但我告訴你們：這裏有比聖殿更大的。 | 6But I tell you that there is here a greater than the temple. |
| 7假如你們瞭解『我喜愛仁愛勝過祭獻』是什麼，你們就決不會判斷無罪的人了， | 7And if you knew what this meaneth: I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: you would never have condemned the innocent. |
| 8因為人子是安息日的主。」 | 8For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath. |
| 9耶穌就離開那裏，進了他們的會堂。 | 9And when he had passed from thence, he came into their synagogues. |
| 10看，那裏有一個人，他的一隻手乾枯了，他們問耶穌說：「安息日許不許治病？」為的是要控告他。 | 10And behold there was a man who had a withered hand, and they asked him, saying: Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. |
| 11耶穌對他們說：「你們中誰有一隻羊，假如安息日掉在坑裏，而不把牠抓住，拉上來呢？ | 11But he said to them: What man shall there be among you, that hath one sheep: and if the same fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not take hold on it and lift it up? |
| 12人比羊貴重得多了！所以，安息日是許可行善的。」 | 12How much better is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do a good deed on the sabbath days. |
| 13於是給那人說：「伸出你的手來！」那人一伸出來，手就完好如初，同另一隻一樣。 | 13Then he saith to the man: Stretch forth thy hand; and he stretched it forth, and it was restored to health even as the other. |
| 14法利塞人出去，商討怎樣陷害耶穌，怎樣除滅他。 | 14And the Pharisees going out made a consultation against him, how they might destroy him. |
| 15耶穌知道了，就離開那裏；有許多人跟隨他，他都治好了他們； | 15But Jesus knowing it, retired from thence: and many followed him, and he healed them all. |
| 16且警告他們不要將他傳揚出去： | 16And he charged them that they should not make him known. |
| 17這是為應驗那藉依撒意亞先知所說的話： | 17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaias the prophet, saying: |
| 18『看，我的僕人，他是我所揀選，我所鍾愛的；他是我心靈所喜悅的；我要使我的神住在他身上，他必向外邦人傳布真道。 | 18Behold my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul hath been well pleased. I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. |
| 19他不爭辯，也不喧嚷，在街市上沒有人聽到他的聲音： | 19He shall not contend, nor cry out, neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. |
| 20已壓破的蘆葦，他不折斷；將熄滅的燈心，他不吹滅，直到他使真道勝利。 | 20The bruised reed he shall not break: and smoking flax he shall not extinguish: till he send forth judgment unto victory. |
| 21外邦人將要期待他的名字。』 | 21And in his name the Gentiles shall hope. |
| 22那時，有人給他領來一個又瞎又啞的附魔人，耶穌治好了他，以致這啞吧能說話，也能看見。 | 22Then was offered to him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb: and he healed him, so that he spoke and saw. |
| 23群眾都驚奇說：「莫非這人是達味之子嗎？」 | 23And all the multitudes were amazed, and said: Is not this the son of David? |
| 24法利塞人聽了，說：「這人驅魔，無非是仗賴魔王貝耳則步。」 | 24But the Pharisees hearing it, said: This man casteth not out the devils but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. |
| 25耶穌知道了他們的意念，就對他們說：「凡一國自相紛爭，必成廢墟；凡一城或一家自相紛爭，必不得存立。 | 25And Jesus knowing their thoughts, said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself shall be made desolate: and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. |
| 26如果撒殫驅逐撒殫，是自相紛爭，那麼他的國如何能存立呢？ | 26And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself: how then shall his kingdom stand? |
| 27如果我仗賴貝耳則步驅魔，你們的子弟是仗賴誰驅魔？為此，他們將是你們的裁判者。 | 27And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. |
| 28如果我仗賴天主的神驅魔，那麼，天主的國已來到你們中間了。 | 28But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you. |
| 29或者，一個人如何能進入一個壯士的家，搶他的家具？除非先把壯士捆住，然後纔搶他的家。 | 29Or how can any one enter into the house of the strong, and rifle his goods, unless he first bind the strong? and then he will rifle his house. |
| 30不隨同我的，就是反對我；不與我收集的，就是分散。 | 30He that is not with me, is against me: and he that gathereth not with me, scattereth. |
| 31為此，我告訴你們：一切罪過和褻瀆，人都可得赦免；但是褻瀆聖神的罪，必不得赦免。 | 31Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven. |
| 32凡出言干犯人子的，可得赦免；但出言干犯聖神的，在今世及來世，都不得赦免。」 | 32And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come. |
| 33「你們或者說樹好，它的果子也好；或者說樹壞，它的果子也壞，因為由果子可認出樹來。 | 33Either make the tree good and its fruit good: or make the tree evil, and its fruit evil. For by the fruit the tree is known. |
| 34毒蛇的種類哪！你們既是惡的，怎能說出善來？因為心裏充滿什麼，口裏就說什麼。 | 34O generation of vipers, how can you speak good things, whereas you are evil? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. |
| 35善人從善庫裏，取出善來；惡人從惡庫裏，取出惡來。 | 35A good man out of a good treasure bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of an evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. |
| 36但我告訴你們：人所說的每句廢話，在審判之日，都要交賬， | 36But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment. |
| 37因為憑你的話，要定你為義人；也憑你的話，要定你為罪人。」 | 37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. |
| 38那時，有幾個經師和法利塞人對耶穌說：「師傅，我們願意你顯示一個徵兆給我們看。」 | 38Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying: Master we would see a sign from thee. |
| 39他回答他們說：「邪惡淫亂的世代要求徵兆，但除了約納先知的徵兆外，必不給它其他的徵兆。 | 39Who answering said to them: An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign: and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. |
| 40有如約納曾在大魚腹中三天三夜；同樣，人子也要在地裏三天三夜。 | 40For as Jonas was in the whale's belly three days and three nights: so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. |
| 41尼尼微人在審判時，將同這一代人起來，定他們的罪，因為尼尼微人因了約納的宣講而悔改了；看，這裏有一位大於約納的！ | 41The men of Ninive shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they did penance at the preaching of Jonas. And behold a greater than Jonas here. |
| 42南方的女王，在審判時，將同這一代人起來，而定他們的罪，因為她從地極而來，聽撒羅滿的智慧；看，這裏有一位大於撒羅滿的！ | 42The queen of the south shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold a greater than Solomon here. |
| 43邪魔由人身上出來以後，走遍乾旱之地，尋找一個安息之所，卻沒有尋着； | 43And when an unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walketh through dry places seeking rest, and findeth none. |
| 44他於是說：我要回到我出來的那間屋裏去。他來到後，見裏面空着，打掃乾淨，裝飾整齊， | 44Then he saith: I will return into my house from whence I came out. And coming he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. |
| 45就去，另外帶了七個比他更惡的魔鬼來，進去，住在那裏；那人末後的處境就比以前的更壞了。對這邪惡的世代也必是這樣。」 | 45Then he goeth, and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is made worse than the first. So shall it be also to this wicked generation. |
| 46耶穌還同群眾說話的時候，看，他的母親和他的兄弟，站在外邊，想要同他說話。 | 46As he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him. |
| 47有人告訴他說：「看！你的母親同你的兄弟，站在外邊，想要同你說話。」 | 47And one said unto him: Behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking thee. |
| 48他卻回答那告訴他的人說：「誰是我的母親？誰是我的兄弟？」 | 48But he answering him that told him, said: Who is my mother, and who are my brethren? |
| 49遂伸出他的手，指着自己的門徒說：「看！我的母親，我的兄弟！ | 49And stretching forth his hand towards his disciples, he said: Behold my mother and my brethren. |
| 50不拘誰遵行我在天之父的意旨，他就是我的兄弟、姊妹和母親。」 | 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. |
