¹耶穌從山上下來，有許多群眾跟隨他。	¹And when he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him:
²看，有一個癩病人前來叩拜耶穌說：「主！你若願意，就能潔淨我。」	²And behold a leper came and adored him, saying: Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
³耶穌就伸手撫摸他說：「我願意，你潔淨了罷！」他的癩病立刻就潔淨了。	³And Jesus stretching forth his hand, touched him, saying: I will, be thou made clean. And forthwith his leprosy was cleansed.
⁴耶穌對他說：「小心，不要對任何人說！但去叫司祭檢驗你，獻上梅瑟所規定的禮物，給他們當做證據。」	⁴And Jesus saith to him: See thou tell no man: but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded for a testimony unto them.
⁵耶穌進了葛法翁，有一位百夫長來到他跟前，求他說：	⁵And when he had entered into Capharnaum, there came to him a centurion, beseeching him,
⁶「主！我的僕人癱瘓了，躺在家裏，疼痛的很厲害。」	⁶And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, and is grieviously tormented.
⁷耶穌對他說：「我去治好他。」	⁷And Jesus saith to him: I will come and heal him.
⁸百夫長答說：「主！我不堪當你到舍下來，你只要說一句話，我的僕人就會好的。	⁸And the centurion making answer, said: Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst enter under my roof: but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed.
⁹因為我雖是屬人權下的人，但是我也有士兵屬我權下；我對這個說：你去，他就去；對另一個說：你來，他就來；對我的奴僕說：你作這個，他就作。」	⁹For I also am a man subject to authority, having under me soldiers; and I say to this, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
¹⁰耶穌聽了，非常詫異，就對跟隨的人說：「我實在告訴你們：在以色列我從未遇見過一個人，有這樣大的信心。	¹⁰And Jesus hearing this, marvelled; and said to them that followed him: Amen I say to you, I have not found so great faith in Israel.
¹¹我給你們說：將有許多人從東方和西方來，同亞巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯在天國裏一起坐席；	¹¹And I say to you that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven:
¹²本國的子民，反要被驅逐到外邊黑暗裏；那裏要有哀號和切齒。」	¹²But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into the exterior darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
¹³耶穌遂對百夫長說：「你回去，就照你所信的，給你成就罷！」僕人就在那時刻痊癒了。	¹³And Jesus said to the centurion: Go, and as thou hast believed, so be it done to thee. And the servant was healed at the same hour.
¹⁴耶穌來到伯多祿家裏，看見伯多祿的岳母躺着發燒，	¹⁴And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying, and sick of a fever:
¹⁵就摸了她的手，熱症就從她身上退了。她便起來伺候他。	¹⁵And he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she arose and ministered to them.
¹⁶到了晚上，人們給他送來了許多附魔的人，他一句話就驅逐了惡神；治好了一切有病的人。	¹⁶And when evening was come, they brought to him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word: and all that were sick he healed:
¹⁷這樣，就應驗了那藉依撒意亞先知所說的話：「他承受我們的脆弱，擔荷了我們的疾病。」	¹⁷That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the prophet Isaias, saying: He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.
¹⁸耶穌看見許多群眾圍着自己，就吩咐往對岸去。	¹⁸And Jesus seeing great multitudes about him, gave orders to pass over the water.
¹⁹有一位經師前來，對他說：「師傅，你不論往那裏去，我要跟隨你。」	¹⁹And a certain scribe came and said to him: Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou shalt go.
²⁰耶穌給他說：「狐狸有穴，天上的飛鳥有巢，但是人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」	²⁰And Jesus saith to him: The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air nests: but the son of man hath not where to lay his head.
²¹門徒中有一個對他說：「主，請許我先去埋葬我的父親。」	²¹And another of his disciples said to him: Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
²²耶穌對他說：「你跟隨我罷！任憑死人去埋葬他們的死人！」	²²But Jesus said to him: Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.
²³耶穌上了船，他的門徒跟隨着他。	²³And when he entered into the boat, his disciples followed him:
²⁴忽然海裏起了大震盪，以致那船為浪所掩蓋，耶穌卻睡着了。	²⁴And behold a great tempest arose in the sea, so that the boat was covered with waves, but he was asleep.
²⁵他們遂前來喚醒他說：「主！救命啊！我們要喪亡了。」	²⁵And they came to him, and awaked him, saying: Lord, save us, we perish.
²⁶耶穌對他們說：「小信德的人啊！你們為什麼膽怯？」就起來叱責風和海，遂大為平靜。	²⁶And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm.
²⁷那些人驚訝說：「這是怎樣的一個人呢？竟連風和海也聽從他！」	²⁷But the men wondered, saying: What manner of man is this, for the winds and the sea obey him?
²⁸耶穌來到對岸加達辣人的地方，有兩個附魔的人從墳墓裏走出，向他走來；他們異常兇猛，以致沒有人能從那條路上經過。	²⁸And when he was come on the other side of the water, into the country of the Gerasens, there met him two that were possessed with devils, coming out of the sepulchres, exceeding fierce, so that none could pass by that way.
²⁹他們喊說：「天主子，我們與你有什麼相干？時期還沒有到，你就來這裏苦害我們嗎？」	²⁹And behold they cried out, saying: What have we to do with thee, Jesus Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
³⁰離他們很遠，有一大群豬正在牧放。	³⁰And there was, not far from them, an herd of many swine feeding.
³¹魔鬼懇求耶穌說：「你若驅逐我們，就趕我們進入豬群罷！」	³¹And the devils besought him, saying: If thou cast us out hence, send us into the herd of swine.
³²耶穌對他們說：「去罷！」魔鬼就出來進入豬內；忽然全群豬從山崖上直衝入海，死在水裏。	³²And he said to them: Go. But they going out went into the swine, and behold the whole herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea: and they perished in the waters.
³³放豬的便逃走，來到城裏，把這一切和附魔人的事都報告了。	³³And they that kept them fled: and coming into the city, told every thing, and concerning them that had been possessed by the devils.
³⁴全城的人就出來會見耶穌，一見了他，就求他離開他們的境界。	³⁴And behold the whole city went out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart from their coasts.
