斐理伯書	Philippians
¹所以，如果你們在基督內獲得了鼓勵，愛的勸勉，聖神的交往，哀憐和同情，	¹If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of charity, if any society of the spirit, if any bowels of commiseration:
²你們就應彼此意見一致，同氣相愛，同心合意，思念同樣的事，以滿全我的喜樂。	²Fulfill ye my joy, that you may be of one mind, having the same charity, being of one accord, agreeing in sentiment.
³不論做什麼，不從私見，也不求虛榮，只存心謙下，彼此該想自己不如人；	³Let nothing be done through contention, neither by vain glory: but in humility, let each esteem others better than themselves:
⁴各人不可只顧自己的事，也該顧及別人的事。	⁴Each one not considering the things that are his own, but those that are other men's.
⁵你們該懷有基督耶穌所懷有的心情：	⁵For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
⁶他雖具有天主的形體，並沒有以自己與天主同等，為應當把持不捨的，	⁶Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
⁷卻使自己空虛，取了奴僕的形體，與人相似，形狀也一見如人；	⁷But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.
⁸他貶抑自己，聽命至死，且死在十字架上。	⁸He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.
⁹為此，天主極其舉揚他，賜給了他一個名字，超越其他所有的名字，	⁹For which cause God also hath exalted him, and hath given him a name which is above all names:
¹⁰致使上天、地上和地下的一切，一聽到耶穌的名字，無不屈膝叩拜；	¹⁰That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth:
¹¹一切唇舌無不明認耶穌基督是主，以光榮天主聖父。	¹¹And that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.
¹²為此，我可愛的，就如你們常常聽了命，不但我與你們同在的時候，就是如今不在的時候，你們更應該聽命。你們要懷着恐懼戰慄，努力成就你們得救的事，	¹²Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence,) with fear and trembling work out your salvation.
¹³因為是天主在你們內工作，使你們願意，並使你們力行，為成就他的善意。	¹³For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to accomplish, according to his good will.
¹⁴你們做一切事，總不可抱怨，也不可爭論，	¹⁴And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations;
¹⁵好使你們成為無可指摘和純潔的，在乖僻敗壞的世代中，做天主無瑕的子女；在世人中你們應放光明，有如宇宙間的明星，	¹⁵That you may be blameless, and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world.
¹⁶將生命的話顯耀出來，使我到基督的日子，有可自誇的，那我就沒有白跑，也沒有徒勞。	¹⁶Holding forth the word of life to my glory in the day of Christ, because I have not run in vain, nor laboured in vain.
¹⁷即使我應在你們信德的祭祀和供獻上奠我的血，我也喜歡，且與你們眾位一同喜歡；	¹⁷Yea, and if I be made a victim upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and congratulate with you all.
¹⁸同樣，你們也該喜歡，也該與我一同喜歡。	¹⁸And for the selfsame thing do you also rejoice, and congratulate with me.
¹⁹我在主耶穌內希望不久打發弟茂德到你們那裏去，好叫我知道你們的事而放心。	¹⁹And I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy unto you shortly, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know the things concerning you.
²⁰實在，我沒有一個像他那樣誠心關照你們的人，	²⁰For I have no man so of the same mind, who with sincere affection is solicitous for you.
²¹因為其他的人都謀求自己的事，而不謀求基督耶穌的事。	²¹For all seek the things that are their own; not the things that are Jesus Christ's.
²²至於他，你們知道他所受過的考驗，他對我如同兒子對待父親一樣，與我一同從事了福音的工作。	²²Now know ye the proof of him, that as a son with the father, so hath he served with me in the gospel.
²³所以，我希望，幾時我一看出我的事怎樣了結，就立即打發他去；	²³Him therefore I hope to send unto you immediately, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
²⁴並且在主內我自信，我自己也快去。	²⁴And I trust in the Lord, that I myself also shall come to you shortly.
²⁵再者，我以為必須把我的弟兄、同事和戰友，即你們派來為供給我的急需的使者，厄帕洛狄托給你們打發回去，	²⁵But I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow labourer, and fellow soldier, but your apostle, and he that hath ministered to my wants.
²⁶因為他常想念你們眾人，又因你們聽說他病了，他更為心焦。	²⁶For indeed he longed after you all: and was sad, for that you had heard that he was sick.
²⁷實在，他曾病得幾乎要死；但天主可憐了他，不但他，而且也可憐了我，免得我愁上加愁。	²⁷For indeed he was sick, nigh unto death; but God had mercy on him; and not only on him, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
²⁸那麼，我儘速打發他回去，好叫你們看見他再感到喜樂，而我也減少憂苦。	²⁸Therefore I sent him the more speedily: that seeing him again, you may rejoice, and I may be without sorrow.
²⁹所以你們應該在主內滿心喜歡接待他；像這樣的人，你們應當尊敬，	²⁹Receive him therefore with all joy in the Lord; and treat with honour such as he is.
³⁰因為他為了基督的工作，曾冒性命的危險，接近了死亡，為彌補你們未能事奉我的虧缺。	³⁰Because for the work of Christ he came to the point of death: delivering his life, that he might fulfill that which on your part was wanting towards my service.
