聖詠集	Psalms
¹請眾感謝上主，呼號他的聖名，請眾在萬民中，宣揚他的功行。	¹Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
²請眾歌頌他，詠讚他，傳述他的奇工妙化。	²Who shall declare the powers of the Lord? who shall set forth all his praises?
³請你們以他的聖名為光榮，願尋求上主的人，樂滿心中。	³Blessed are they that keep judgment, and do justice at all times.
⁴請眾尋求上主和他的德能，要時常不斷追求他的儀容。	⁴Remember us, O Lord, in the favour of thy people: visit us with thy salvation.
⁵請你們記念他所行的奇蹟，他的異事和他口中的判詞。	⁵That we may see the good of thy chosen, that we may rejoice in the joy of thy nation: that thou mayst be praised with thy inheritance.
⁶天主的僕人亞巴郎的後裔，上主揀選的雅各伯的兒子！	⁶We have sinned with our fathers: we have acted unjustly, we have wrought iniquity.
⁷他是上主，是我們的天主，他的統治遍及普世各處。	⁷Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt: they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies: And they provoked to wrath going up to the sea, even the Red Sea.
⁸他永遠懷念着自己的盟約，直到萬代不忘自己的許諾；	⁸And he saved them for his own name's sake: that he might make his power known.
⁹就是向亞巴郎所立的盟約，向依撒格所起的誓諾，	⁹And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up: and he led them through the depths, as in a wilderness.
¹⁰為雅各伯立為不移的規條，向以色列立為永遠的盟約，	¹⁰And he saved them from the hand of them that hated them: and he redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
¹¹說：「我必將客納罕地賜給你，作你們產業的一分子。」	¹¹And the water covered them that afflicted them: there was not one of them left.
¹²當他們在那地僑居時，寥寥無幾而人數極稀，	¹²And they believed his words: and they sang his praises.
¹³從這一族系遷徙到另一族系，從這一國家飄流到另一地域。	¹³They had quickly done, they forgot his works: and they waited not for his counsels.
¹⁴他不但不讓人把他們壓迫，且為了他們還把眾王責斥，	¹⁴And they coveted their desire in the desert: and they tempted God in the place without water.
¹⁵說：「你們決不可觸犯我的受傅者，你們切不可把我的先知傷害！」	¹⁵And he gave them their request: and sent fulness into their souls.
¹⁶以後他使飢荒籠罩那地，斷絕了食糧的任何供給。	¹⁶And they provoked Moses in the camp, Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
¹⁷在他們以前他將一人遣去，就是那被出賣為奴隸的若瑟。	¹⁷The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan: and covered the congregation of Abiron.
¹⁸人以銬鐐緊扣他的雙腳，他的頸項也帶上了鐵鎖，	¹⁸And a fire was kindled in their congregation: the flame burned the wicked.
¹⁹直到他所講的那預言實現，上主的話才在他身上應驗。	¹⁹They made also a calf in Horeb: and they adored the graven thing.
²⁰君王遂派人釋放了他，眾民的首長解救了他。	²⁰And they changed their glory into the likeness of a calf that eateth grass.
²¹且立他為皇家的宰相，掌管一切皇產的侯王，	²¹They forgot God, who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,
²²讓他隨意指導通國的王侯，以其智謀教訓通國的長老。	²²Wondrous works in the land of Cham: terrible things in the Red Sea.
²³從此以色列進入了埃及，雅各伯也就在含邦作客。	²³And he said that he would destroy them: had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach: To turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
²⁴上主使他的百姓昌旺，比他們的仇敵更強壯。	²⁴And they set at nought the desirable land. They believed not his word,
²⁵他轉變他們的心，仇恨他的百姓，讓他們陰險殘酷對待他的僕人。	²⁵And they murmured in their tents: they hearkened not to the voice of the Lord.
²⁶他打發他的僕人梅瑟和所揀選的亞郎，	²⁶And he lifted up his hand over them: to overthrow them in the desert;
²⁷叫二人對他們將奇蹟和異事行於含邦。	²⁷And to cast down their seed among the nations, and to scatter them in the countries.
²⁸上主命降黑暗。立時天昏地暗，然而埃及人卻反抗他的聖言。	²⁸They also were initiated to Beelphegor: and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
²⁹他使他們的水都變成血，將他們的魚類全部殺滅。	²⁹And they provoked him with their inventions: and destruction was multiplied among them.
³⁰蝦蟆在他們的土內蕃生，跳進了他們眾王的內宮。	³⁰Then Phinees stood up, and pacified him: and the slaughter ceased.
³¹他一發命，蒼蠅便成群飛來，蚊蚋也在他們的各地徘徊，	³¹And it was reputed to him unto justice, to generation and generation for evermore.
³²代替時雨，為他們降下冰雹，在他們全國各地雷電閃爍，	³²They provoked him also at the waters of contradiction: and Moses was afflicted for their sakes:
³³打壞了他們的葡萄和無花果樹，又擊倒了他們國內的一切樹木。	³³Because they exasperated his spirit. And he distinguished with his lips.
³⁴他一發命令蝗蟲飛遍，蚱蜢的數目，無法計算，	³⁴They did not destroy the nations of which the Lord spoke unto them.
³⁵吃光他們地裏所有的青草，吞盡他們田間所有的果。	³⁵And they were mingled among the heathens, and learned their works:
³⁶他打擊境內所有的頭胎，將強壯的長子全部殺害。	³⁶And served their idols, and it became a stumblingblock to them.
³⁷他領出滿攜金銀的以色列，全支派中沒有一個人殘缺。	³⁷And they sacrificed their sons, and their daughters to devils.
³⁸以色列出走，埃及人無不歡愉，因為那實在叫他們戰兢恐懼。	³⁸And they shed innocent blood: the blood of their sons and of their daughters which they sacrificed to the idols of Chanaan. And the land was polluted with blood,
³⁹他展佈雲彩，用以掩護遮陰，他豎立火柱，為在夜間照明。	³⁹And was defiled with their works: and they went aside after their own inventions.
⁴⁰他們一懇求，他就送來鵪鶉，用天降的食糧，飽飫了他們。	⁴⁰And the Lord was exceedingly angry with his people: and he abhorred his inheritance.
⁴¹他闢開了岩石，使水湧出，在沙漠中好像江河流注。	⁴¹And he delivered them into the hands of the nations: and they that hated them had dominion over them.
⁴²因為他沒有把他神聖的許諾遺忘，並且也常懷念着他的僕人亞巴郎。	⁴²And their enemies afflicted them: and they were humbled under their hands:
⁴³他引百姓歡樂地離去，他率領選民欣然出走。	⁴³Many times did he deliver them. But they provoked him with their counsel: and they were brought low by their iniquities.
⁴⁴給他們劃分了異民的領土，使他們佔領了外人的財富，	⁴⁴And he saw when they were in tribulation: and he heard their prayer.
⁴⁵為叫他們遵行他的誡命，恪守他的命令。亞肋路亞。	⁴⁵And he was mindful of his covenant: and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
⁴⁶	⁴⁶And he gave them unto mercies, in the sight of all those that had made them captives.
⁴⁷	⁴⁷Save us, O Lord, our God: and gather us from among nations: That we may give thanks to thy holy name, and may glory in thy praise.
⁴⁸	⁴⁸Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say: So be it, so be it.
