| 1當我們坐在巴比倫河畔，一想起熙雍即淚流滿面。 | 1I will praise thee, O lord, with my whole heart: for thou hast heard the words of my mouth. I will sing praise to thee in the sight of his angels: |
| 2在那地的楊柳間，掛起我們的琴絃。 | 2I will worship towards thy holy temple, and I will give glory to thy name. For thy mercy, and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy holy name above all. |
| 3因那些俘虜我們的，要我們唱歌，那些迫害我們的，還要我們奏樂：快些來給我們唱一支熙雍的歌！ | 3In what day soever I shall call upon thee, hear me: thou shall multiply strength in my soul. |
| 4但我們身處外鄉異域，怎能謳唱上主的歌曲？ | 4May all the kings of the earth give glory to thee: for they have heard all the words of thy mouth. |
| 5耶路撒冷！我如果將你忘掉，願我的右手枯焦！ | 5And let them sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord. |
| 6我若不懷念你，不以耶路撒冷為喜樂，就寧願我的舌頭緊緊貼在我的上顎！ | 6For the Lord is high, and looketh on the low: and the high he knoweth afar off. |
| 7上主，求你要記住厄東的子民，在耶路撒冷蒙難的時辰， 他們曾喊叫說：拆毀，拆毀！夷為平地，一直見到基礎， | 7If I shall walk in the midst of tribulation, thou wilt quicken me: and thou hast stretched forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies: and thy right hand hath saved me. |
| 8你這只知破壞的巴比倫女子！誰若依照你加給我們的災痍，也照樣報復於你，他就得福祺。 | 8The Lord will repay for me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: O despise not the work of thy hands. |
