| 2願上主在憂患之日，俯允你，願雅各伯天主的名，保祐你！ | 2In thy strength, O Lord, the king shall joy; and in thy salvation he shall rejoice exceedingly. |
| 3願他從聖所救護你，願他由熙雍扶助你！ | 3Thou hast given him his heart's desire: and hast not withholden from him the will of his lips. |
| 4願他追念你的一切祭獻，願他悅納你的全燔祭獻！（休止） | 4For thou hast prevented him with blessings of sweetness: thou hast set on his head a crown of precious stones. |
| 5願他滿全你心中的志願，願他玉成你的一切籌算！ | 5He asked life of thee: and thou hast given him length of days for ever and ever. |

| 8他們或仗恃戰車，他們或仗恃戰馬；我們只以上主，我們天主的名自誇。 | 8For the king hopeth in the Lord: and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved. |
| 9他們必將倒地喪命。我們卻將挺身立定。 | 9Let thy hand be found by all thy enemies: let thy right hand find out all them that hate thee. |
| 10上主，求你賜予君王獲勝，我們求你時，請俯允我們。 | 10Thou shalt make them as an oven of fire, in the time of thy anger: the Lord shall trouble them in his wrath, and fire shall devour them. |
| 11 | 11Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth: and their seed from among the children of men. |
| 12 | 12For they have intended evils against thee: they have devised counsels which they have not been able to establish. |
| 13 | 13For thou shalt make them turn their back: in thy remnants thou shalt prepare their face. |
