聖詠集	Psalms
¹達味在阿彼默肋客前佯狂，被逐逃走時作。	¹For David himself. Judge thou, O Lord, them that wrong me: overthrow them that fight against me.
²我必要時時讚美上主，對他的讚頌常在我口；	²Take hold of arms and shield: and rise up to help me.
³願我的心靈因上主而自豪，願謙卑的人聽到也都喜躍。	³Bring out the sword, and shut up the way against them that persecute me: say to my soul: I am thy salvation.
⁴請你們同我一起讚揚上主，讓我們齊聲頌揚他的名字。	⁴Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and be confounded that devise against me.
⁵我尋求了上主，他聽了我的祈求：由我受的一切驚惶中，將我救出。	⁵Let them become as dust before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord straiten them.
⁶你們瞻仰他，要喜形於色，你們的面容，絕不會羞愧。	⁶Let their way become dark and slippery; and let the angel of the Lord pursue them.
⁷卑微人一呼號，上主立即俯允，並且救拔他出離一切的苦辛。	⁷For without cause they have hidden their net for me unto destruction: without cause they have upbraided my soul.
⁸在那敬畏上主的人四周，有上主的天使紮營護守。	⁸Let the snare which he knoweth not come upon him: and let the net which he hath hidden catch him: and let the net which he hath hidden catch him: and into that very snare let them fall.
⁹請你們體驗，請你們觀看：上主是何等的和藹慈善！投奔他的必獲真福永歡。	⁹But my soul shall rejoice in the Lord; and shall be delighted in his salvation.
¹⁰上主的聖民，你們該敬畏上主，因敬畏他的人，不會受到窮苦。	¹⁰All my bones shall say: Lord, who is like to thee? Who deliverest the poor from the hand of them that are stronger than he; the needy and the poor from them that strip him.
¹¹富貴的人竟成了赤貧，忍飢受餓，尋求上主的人，卻不缺任何福樂。	¹¹Unjust witnesses rising up have asked me things I knew not.
¹²孩子們，你們前來聽我指教，我要教你們敬畏上主之道。	¹²They repaid me evil for good: to the depriving me of my soul.
¹³誰是愛好長久生活的人？誰是渴望長壽享福的人？	¹³But as for me, when they were troublesome to me, I was clothed with haircloth. I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer shall be turned into my bosom.
¹⁴就應謹守口舌，不說壞話，克制嘴唇，不言欺詐；	¹⁴As a neighbour and as an own brother, so did I please: as one mourning and sorrowful so was I humbled.
¹⁵躲避罪惡，努力行善，尋求和平，追隨陪伴。	¹⁵But they rejoiced against me, and came together: scourges were gathered together upon me, and I knew not.
¹⁶因為上主的雙目垂顧正義的人，上主的兩耳聽他們的哀聲。	¹⁶They were separated, and repented not: they tempted me, they scoffed at me with scorn: they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
¹⁷上主的威容敵視作惡的人民，要把他們的紀念由世上滅盡。	¹⁷Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice: my only one from the lions.
¹⁸義人一呼號，上主立即俯允，拯救他們出離一切的苦辛。	¹⁸I will give thanks to thee in a great church; I will praise thee in a strong people.
¹⁹上主親近心靈破碎的人，他必救助精神痛苦的人。	¹⁹Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: who have hated me without cause, and wink with the eyes.
²⁰義人的災難雖多，上主卻救他免禍；	²⁰For they spoke indeed peaceably to me; and speaking in the anger of the earth they devised guile.
²¹把他的一切骨骸保全，連一根也不容許折斷。	²¹And they opened their mouth wide against me; they said: Well done, well done, our eyes have seen it.
²²邪惡為惡人招來死亡，憎恨義人者應該補償。	²²Thou hast seen, O Lord, be not thou silent: O Lord, depart not from me.
²³上主救助他僕人的生命，凡投奔他的必不受處刑。	²³Arise, and be attentive to my judgment: to my cause, my God, and my Lord.
²⁴	²⁴Judge me, O Lord my God according to thy justice, and let them not rejoice over me.
²⁵	²⁵Let them not say in their hearts: It is well, it is well, to our mind: neither let them say: We have swallowed him up.
²⁶	²⁶Let them blush: and be ashamed together, who rejoice at my evils. Let them be clothed with confusion and shame, who speak great things against me.
²⁷	²⁷Let them rejoice and be glad, who are well pleased with my justice, and let them say always: The Lord be magnified, who delights in the peace of his servant.
²⁸	²⁸Any my tongue shall meditate thy justice, thy praise all the day long.
