| 1論撒羅滿。天主，求你給君王傳授你的權柄，求你給太子傳授你的公正。 | 1A psalm for Asaph. How good is God to Israel, to them that are of a right heart! |
| 2使他照正義統治你的百姓，使他按公道管理你的平民。 | 2But my feet were almost moved; my steps had well nigh slipped. |
| 3願高山給人民帶來和平；願丘嶺為百姓送來公正！ | 3Because I had a zeal on occasion of the wicked, seeing the prosperity of sinners. |
| 4他必衛護百姓中的窮人，救助窮苦人的子孫，蹂躪欺壓人的暴民。 | 4For there is no regard to their death, nor is there strength in their stripes. |
| 5他將與日月共存，世世代代無窮盡。 | 5They are not in the labour of men: neither shall they be scourged like other men. |
| 6他降臨如落在草原上的喜雨，又如潤澤田地的甘露。 | 6Therefore pride hath held them fast: they are covered with their iniquity and their wickedness. |
| 7在他的歲月中，正義必要興盛，到處國泰民安，直至月亮失明。 | 7Their iniquity hath come forth, as it were from fatness: they have passed into the affection of the heart. |
| 8他將統治大地，從這海到那海，由大河的流域，至地極的邊界。 | 8They have thought and spoken wickedness: they have spoken iniquity on high. |
| 9他的仇敵將向他屈膝跪拜，和他作對的人要舌舔塵埃。 | 9They have set their mouth against heaven: and their tongue hath passed through the earth. |
| 10塔爾史士和群島的眾王將獻上禮品，舍巴和色巴的君王，也都要前來進貢。 | 10Therefore will my people return here and full days shall be found in them. |
| 11眾王都要崇拜他，萬民都要事奉他。 | 11And they said: How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? |
| 12他必拯救哀號的貧民，他必扶持無援的窮人。 | 12Behold these are sinners; and yet abounding in the world they have obtained riches. |
| 13他將憐恤不幸和貧乏的群眾，並要救護窮苦貧病者的生命。 | 13And I said: Then have I in vain justified my heart, and washed my hands among the innocent. |
| 14他要救他們脫離殘暴與壓迫，他們的血在他眼中珍貴無比。 | 14And I have been scourged all the day; and my chastisement hath been in the mornings. |
| 15願他常存！願人們向他奉獻舍巴黃金，願人們時常為他祈禱，不斷為他求恩！ | 15If I said: I will speak thus; behold I should condemn the generation of thy children. |
| 16田地裡所出產的五穀百果必將豐盈，山嶺上的收成也要富饒有如黎巴嫩，城市的人必要昌盛有如地上的草茵。 | 16I studied that I might know this thing, it is a labour in my sight: |
| 17他的名號常存，永受讚揚，他的名號永留，與日爭光。萬邦要因他而得福，萬民要稱他為有福。 | 17Until I go into the sanctuary of God, and understand concerning their last ends. |
| 18願上主天主，以色列的天主享受讚頌，因為只有他獨自作出了奇妙的化工。 | 18But indeed for deceits thou hast put it to them: when they were lifted up thou hast cast them down. |
| 19願他光榮的名號永受讚美，願他的榮耀充滿整個大地！阿們！阿們！ | 19How are they brought to desolation? they have suddenly ceased to be: they have perished by reason of their iniquity. |
| 20葉瑟之子達味的祈禱終。 | 20As the dream of them that awake, O Lord; so in thy city thou shalt bring their image to nothing. |
| 21 | 21For my heart hath been inflamed, and my reins have been changed: |
| 22 | 22And I am brought to nothing, and I knew not. |
| 23 | 23I am become as a beast before thee: and I am always with thee. |
| 24 | 24Thou hast held me by my right hand; and by thy will thou hast conducted me, and with thy glory thou hast received me. |
| 25 | 25For what have I in heaven? and besides thee what do I desire upon earth? |
| 26 | 26For thee my flesh and my heart hath fainted away: thou art the God of my heart, and the God that is my portion for ever. |
| 27 | 27For behold they that go far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that are disloyal to thee. |
| 28 | 28But it is good for me to adhere to my God, to put my hope in the Lord God: That I may declare all thy praises, in the gates of the daughter of Sion. |
