| 6膽大的人，全被剝奪，一睡不醒，那勇敢的將領，手臂麻木失靈。 | 6I thought upon the days of old: and I had in my mind the eternal years. |
| 7雅各伯的天主，因你的恐嚇，戰車戰馬都驚得麻木僵直。 | 7And I meditated in the night with my own heart: and I was exercised and I swept my spirit. |
| 8你尊嚴可畏；你盛怒時，何人能在你面前站立？ | 8Will God then cast off for ever? or will he never be more favourable again? |
| 9你由天上宣佈判案，大地戰慄默默無言。 | 9Or will he cut off his mercy for ever, from generation to generation? |
| 10因為天主起來施行審判，是要救世上的一切貧賤。（休止） | 10Or will God forget to shew mercy? or will he in his anger shut up his mercies? |
| 11人的狂怒成全你的光榮，幸免憤怒的人，向你祝頌。 | 11And I said, Now have I begun: this is the change of the right hand of the most High. |
| 12你們許願要向上主你們的天主還願；他四周的人都要向可敬者供奉祭獻。 | 12I remembered the works of the Lord: for I will be mindful of thy wonders from the beginning. |
| 13他抑壓首領們的氣燄，他使地上的眾王抖顫。 | 13And I will meditate on all thy works: and will be employed in thy inventions. |
| 14 | 14Thy way, O God, is in the holy place: who is the great God like our God? |
| 15 | 15Thou art the God that dost wonders. Thou hast made thy power known among the nations: |
| 16 | 16With thy arm thou hast redeemed thy people the children of Jacob and of Joseph. |
| 17 | 17The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee: and they were afraid, and the depths were troubled. |
| 18 | 18Great was the noise of the waters: the clouds sent out a sound. For thy arrows pass: |
| 19 | 19The voice of thy thunder in a wheel. Thy lightnings enlightened the world: the earth shook and trembled. |
| 20 | 20Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in many waters: and thy footsteps shall not be known. |
| 21 | 21Thou hast conducted thy people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron. |
