| 1我看見在天上又出現了一個又大又奇妙的異兆：有七位天使拿着七種最後的災禍，因為天主的義怒就要藉着這些災禍發洩淨盡。 | 1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God. |
| 2我又看見好像有個攙雜着火的玻璃海；那些戰勝了獸和獸像及牠名號數字的人，站在玻璃海上，拿着天主的琴， | 2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had overcome the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God: |
| 3歌唱天主的僕人梅瑟的歌曲和羔羊的歌曲說：「上主，全能的天主！你的功行偉大奇妙；萬民的君王！你的道路公平正直； | 3And singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, O Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, O King of ages. |
| 4誰敢不敬畏你？上主！誰敢不光榮你的名號？因為只有你是聖善的；萬民都要前來崇拜你，因為你正義的判斷，已彰明較着。」 | 4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come, and shall adore in thy sight, because thy judgments are manifest. |
| 5這些事以後，我又看見天上盟約的帳幕──聖殿敞開了， | 5And after these things I looked; and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: |
| 6那七位拿着七種災禍的天使，從聖殿那裏出來，身穿潔白而明亮的亞麻衣，胸間佩有金帶。 | 6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed with clean and white linen, and girt about the breasts with golden girdles. |
| 7那時，四個活物中的一個，給了那七位天使七個滿盛萬世萬代永生天主義怒的金盂。 | 7And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. |
| 8因着天主的榮耀和威能，殿內充滿了煙，沒有一個人能進入殿內，直到那七位天使的七樣災禍降完為止。 | 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. |
