| 1隨後，我看見了一個新天新地，因為先前的天與先前的地已不見了，海也沒有了。 | 1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more. |
| 2我看見那新耶路撒冷聖城，從天上由天主那裏降下，就如一位裝飾好迎接自己丈夫的新娘。 | 2And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. |
| 3我聽見由寶座那裏有一巨大聲音說：「這就是天主與人同在的帳幕，他要同他們住在一起；他們要作他的人民，他親自要『與他們同在』，作他們的天主； | 3And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people; and God himself with them shall be their God. |
| 4他要拭去他們眼上的一切淚痕；以後再也沒有死亡，再也沒有悲傷，沒有哀號，沒有苦楚，因為先前的都已過去了。」 | 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away. |
| 5那位坐在寶座上的說：「看，我已更新了一切。」又說：「你寫下來！因為這些話都是可信而真實的。」 | 5And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are most faithful and true. |
| 6他又給我說：「已完成了！我是『阿耳法』和『敖默加』，元始和終末。我要把生命的水白白地賜給口渴的人喝。 | 6And he said to me: It is done. I am Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end. To him that thirsteth, I will give of the fountain of the water of life, freely. |
| 7勝利者必要承受這些福分；我要作他的天主，他要作我的兒子。 | 7He that shall overcome shall possess these things, and I will be his God; and he shall be my son. |
| 8可是，為那些怯懦的、失信的、可恥的、殺人的、姦淫的、行邪術的、拜偶像的，以及一切撒謊的人，他們的地方是在烈火與硫磺燃燒着的坑中：這就是第二次死亡。」 | 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. |
| 9那拿着七個滿盛最後七種災禍盂的七位天使，其中有一位來告訴我說：「你來！我要把羔羊的淨配新娘指給你看。」 | 9And there came one of the seven angels, who had the vials full of the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying: Come, and I will shew thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb. |
| 10天使就使我神魂超拔，把我帶到一座又大又高的山上，將那從天上，由天主那裏降下的聖城耶路撒冷，指給我看。 | 10And he took me up in spirit to a great and high mountain: and he shewed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, |
| 11這聖城具有天主的光榮；城的光輝，好似極貴重的寶石，像水晶那麼明亮的蒼玉； | 11Having the glory of God, and the light thereof was like to a precious stone, as to the jasper stone, even as crystal. |
| 12城牆高而且大，有十二座門，守門的有十二位天使，門上寫着以色列子民十二支派的名字。 | 12And it had a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and in the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. |
| 13東面三門，北面三門，南面三門，西面三門。 | 13On the east, three gates: and on the north, three gates: and on the south, three gates: and on the west, three gates. |
| 14城牆有十二座基石，上面刻着羔羊的十二位宗徒的十二個名字。 | 14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them, the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. |
| 15同我談話的那位天使拿着金蘆葦測量尺，要測量那城、城門和城牆。 | 15And he that spoke with me, had a measure of a reed of gold, to measure the city and the gates thereof, and the wall. |
| 16城是四方形的，長寬相同。天使用蘆葦測量尺測量了那城，共計一萬二千「斯塔狄」，長、寬、高都相等； | 16And the city lieth in a foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the golden reed for twelve thousand furlongs, and the length and the height and the breadth thereof are equal. |
| 17又測量了城牆，有一百四十四肘；天使用的，是人的尺寸。 | 17And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel. |
| 18城牆是用水蒼玉建造的，城是純金的，好像明淨的玻璃。 | 18And the building of the wall thereof was of jasper stone: but the city itself pure gold, like to clear glass. |
| 19城牆的基石，是用各種寶石裝飾的：第一座基石是水蒼玉，第二座是藍玉，第三座是玉髓，第四座是翡翠， | 19And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper: the second, sapphire: the third, a chalcedony: the fourth, an emerald: |
| 20第五座是赤瑪瑙，第六座是斑瑪瑙，第七座是橄欖石，第八座是綠柱石，第九座是黃玉，第十座是綠玉，第十一座是紫玉，第十二座是紫晶。 | 20The fifth, sardonyx: the sixth, sardius: the seventh, chrysolite: the eighth, beryl: the ninth, a topaz: the tenth, a chrysoprasus: the eleventh, a jacinth: the twelfth, an amethyst. |
| 21十二座門是十二種珍珠，每一座門是由一種珍珠造的；城中的街道是純金的，好似透明的玻璃。 | 21And the twelve gates are twelve pearls, one to each: and every several gate was of one several pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. |
| 22在城內我沒有看見聖殿，因為上主全能的天主和羔羊就是她的聖殿。 | 22And I saw no temple therein. For the Lord God Almighty is the temple thereof, and the Lamb. |
| 23那城也不需要太陽和月亮光照，因為有天主的光榮照耀她；羔羊就是她的明燈。 | 23And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it. For the glory of God hath enlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof. |
| 24萬民都要藉着她的光行走，世上的君王也要把自己的光榮帶到她內。 | 24And the nations shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and honour into it. |
| 25她的門白日總不關閉，因為那裏已沒有黑夜。 | 25And the gates thereof shall not be shut by day: for there shall be no night there. |
| 26萬民都要把自己的光榮和財富運到她內。 | 26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. |
| 27凡不潔淨、行可恥的事及撒謊的，絕對不得進入她內；只有那些記載在羔羊生命冊上的，纔將得進入。 | 27There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb. |
