¹你給厄弗所教會的天使寫：「那右手握着七顆星，而在那七盞金燈臺當中行走的這樣說：	¹Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write: These things saith he, who holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:
²我知道你的作為、你的苦勞和你的堅忍；也知道你不能容忍惡人，並且你也曾查驗出那些自稱為宗徒而實非宗徒的人，發現他們是撒謊的人；	²I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them that are evil, and thou hast tried them, who say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
³也知道你有堅忍，為了我的名字受了苦，而毫不厭倦。	³And thou hast patience, and hast endured for my name, and hast not fainted.
⁴可是，我有反對你的一條，就是你拋棄了你起初的愛德，	⁴But I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first charity.
⁵所以你該回想你是從那裏跌下的，你該悔改，行先前所行的事：若你不悔改，我就要臨於你，把你的燈臺從原處挪去。	⁵Be mindful therefore from whence thou art fallen: and do penance, and do the first works. Or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou do penance.
⁶不過你有一條：就是你惱恨了尼苛勞黨人的行為，這也是我所惱恨的。	⁶But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaites, which I also hate.
⁷有耳朵的，應聽聖神向各教會說的話：勝利的，我要把天主樂園中生命樹的果實，賜給他吃。」	⁷He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him, that overcometh, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God.
⁸你給斯米納教會的天使寫：「那身為元始和終末，曾死過而復生的這樣說：	⁸And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive:
⁹我知道你的困苦和貧窮，其實你是富足的；也知道你由那些自稱為猶太人的人受的誹謗，其實他們不是猶太人，而是撒殫的會眾。	⁹I know thy tribulation and thy poverty, but thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
¹⁰不要怕你要受的苦！看，魔鬼要把你們中的一些人投在監裏，叫你們受試探；你們要遭受困難十天之久。你應當忠信至死，我必要賜給你生命的華冠。	¹⁰Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of life.
¹¹有耳朵的，應聽聖神向各教會說的話：勝利的必不受第二次死亡的害。」	¹¹He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that shall overcome, shall not be hurt by the second death.
¹²你給培爾加摩教會的天使寫：「那持有雙刃利劍的這樣說：	¹²And to the angel of the church of Pergamus write: These things, saith he, that hath the sharp two edged sword:
¹³我知道你居住的地方，在那裏有撒殫的寶座；當我忠信的見證安提帕在你們中間，即在撒殫居住的地方被殺的時日，你仍堅持了我的名字，從未否認對我的信仰。	¹³I know where thou dwellest, where the seat of Satan is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith. Even in those days when Antipas was my faithful witness, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
¹⁴可是，我有反對你的幾條，就是：在你們那裏，你容忍了一些堅持巴郎教訓的人；巴郎曾教巴拉克在以色列子民前安放了絆腳石，叫他們吃祭肉，行邪淫；	¹⁴But I have against thee a few things: because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat, and to commit fornication:
¹⁵同樣，你也容忍了一些堅持尼苛勞黨人教訓的人。	¹⁵So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaites.
¹⁶所以你應當悔改，不然，我就要迅速臨於你，用我口中的利劍攻擊他們。	¹⁶In like manner do penance: if not, I will come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
¹⁷有耳朵的，應聽聖神向各教會說的話：勝利的，我要賜給他隱藏的『瑪納』，也要賜給他一塊刻有新名號的白石，除領受的人外，誰也不認得這名號。」	¹⁷He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him that overcometh, I will give the hidden manna, and will give him a white counter, and in the counter, a new name written, which no man knoweth, but he that receiveth it.
¹⁸你給提雅提辣教會的天使寫：「那位眼睛有如火燄，雙腳有如光銅的天主子這樣說：	¹⁸And to the angel of the church of Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like to a flame of fire, and his feet like to fine brass.
¹⁹我知道你的作為、你的愛德、信德、服務和堅忍，也知道你末後的作為比先前的更多。	¹⁹I know thy works, and thy faith, and thy charity, and thy ministry, and thy patience, and thy last works which are more than the former.
²⁰可是我有反對你的一條，就是你曾容許那自稱為先知的婦人依則貝耳教訓我的僕人，並引誘他們行邪淫，吃祭肉。	²⁰But I have against thee a few things: because thou sufferest the woman Jezabel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach, and to seduce my servants, to commit fornication, and to eat of things sacrificed to idols.
²¹我原給了她悔改的時間，可是她不肯悔改自己的淫行。	²¹And I gave her a time that she might do penance, and she will not repent of her fornication.
²²看，我要把她投在病床上，並且把那些與她行邪淫的人，若他們對她的惡行不予以悔改，也投到重大的困苦中，	²²Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds.
²³並將她的子女置於死地；這樣各教會都知道我是洞察人心和肺腑的主，並且我要按照你們的行為，報應你們每一個人。	²³And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works. But to you I say,
²⁴至於你們其餘的提雅提辣人，凡不隨從這種教訓，不認識那所謂「撒殫奧義」的人，我對你們說：我不再把別的重擔加在你們身上，	²⁴And to the rest who are at Thyatira: Whosoever have not this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will not put upon you any other burthen.
²⁵可是你們應該堅持已有的，直到我來。	²⁵Yet that, which you have, hold fast till I come.
²⁶勝利的，並且到最末堅守我事業的人，我必賜給他治理萬民的權柄──	²⁶And he that shall overcome, and keep my works unto the end, I will give him power over the nations.
²⁷他將用鐵杖管轄他們，有如打碎瓦器──	²⁷And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken,
²⁸正如我由我父所領受的權柄一樣；我還要賜給他那顆晨星。	²⁸As I also have received of my Father: and I will give him the morning star.
²⁹有耳朵的，應聽聖神向各教會說的話。」	²⁹He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
