| 1這事以後，我看見了四位天使，站在大地的四角上，握住地上的四股風，不讓風吹向大地、海洋和各種樹木。 | 1After these things, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that they should not blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor on any tree. |
| 2我又看見了另一位天使，從太陽出升之地上來，拿着永生天主的印，大聲向那領了傷害大地和海洋權柄的四位天使呼喊， | 2And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the sign of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, |
| 3說：「你們不可傷害大地、海洋和樹木，等我們在我們天主的眾僕額上，先蓋上印。」 | 3Saying: Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we sign the servants of our God in their foreheads. |
| 4以後，我聽見蓋了印的數目：在以色列子孫各支派中蓋了印的，共有十四萬四千。 | 4And I heard the number of them that were signed, an hundred forty-four thousand were signed, of every tribe of the children of Israel. |
| 5由猶大支派中蓋上印的有一萬二千；勒烏本支派一萬二千；加得支派一萬二千； | 5Of the tribe of Juda, were twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Ruben, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand signed: |
| 6阿協爾支派一萬二千；納斐塔里支派一萬二千；默納協支派一萬二千； | 6Of the tribe of Aser, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Nephthali, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Manasses, twelve thousand signed: |
| 7西默盎支派一萬二千；肋未支派一萬二千；依撒加爾支派一萬二千； | 7Of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand signed: |
| 8則步隆支派一萬二千；若瑟支派一萬二千；由本雅明支派中蓋上印的有一萬二千。 | 8Of the tribe of Zabulon, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand signed: Of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand signed. |
| 9在這些事以後，我看見有一大夥群眾，沒有人能夠數清，是來自各邦國、各支派、各民族、各異語的，他們都站在寶座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手持棕櫚枝， | 9After this I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands: |
| 10大聲呼喊說：「救恩來自那坐在寶座上的我們的天主，並來自羔羊！」 | 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying: Salvation to our God, who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb. |
| 11於是所有站在寶座、長老和那四個活物周圍的天使，在寶座前俯伏於地，朝拜天主， | 11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and the ancients, and the four living creatures; and they fell down before the throne upon their faces, and adored God, |
| 12說：「阿們。願讚頌、光榮、智慧、稱謝、尊威、權能和勇毅，全歸於我們的天主，至於無窮之世。阿們。」 | 12Saying: Amen. Benediction, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, honour, and power, and strength to our God for ever and ever. Amen. |
| 13長老中有一位問我說：「這些穿白衣的人是誰？他們是從那裏來的？」 | 13And one of the ancients answered, and said to me: These that are clothed in white robes, who are they? and whence came they? |
| 14我回答他說：「我主，你知道。」於是他告訴我說：「這些人是由大災難中來的，他們曾在羔羊的血中洗淨了自己的衣裳，使衣裳雪白， | 14And I said to him: My Lord, thou knowest. And he said to me: These are they who are come out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb. |
| 15因此，他們得站在天主的寶座前，且在他的殿宇內日夜事奉他；那坐在寶座上的，也必要住在他們中間。 | 15Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he, that sitteth on the throne, shall dwell over them. |
| 16他們再也不餓，再也不渴，烈日和任何炎熱，再也不損傷他們， | 16They shall no more hunger nor thirst, neither shall the sun fall on them, nor any heat. |
| 17因為，那在寶座中間的羔羊要牧放他們，要領他們到生命的水泉那裏；天主也要從他們的眼上拭去一切淚痕。」 | 17For the Lamb, which is in the midst of the throne, shall rule them, and shall lead them to the fountains of the waters of life, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. |
