羅馬書	Romans
¹我們既因信德成義，便是藉我們的主耶穌基督，與天主和好了。	¹Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:
²藉着耶穌我們得因信德進入了現今所站立的這恩寵中，並因希望分享天主的光榮而歡躍。	²By whom also we have access through faith into this grace, wherein we stand, and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God.
³不但如此，我們連在磨難中也歡躍，因為我們知道：磨難生忍耐，	³And not only so; but we glory also in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
⁴忍耐生老練，老練生望德，	⁴And patience trial; and trial hope;
⁵望德不叫人蒙羞，因為天主的愛，藉着所賜與我們的聖神，已傾注在我們心中了。	⁵And hope confoundeth not: because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, who is given to us.
⁶當我們還在軟弱的時候，基督就在指定的時期為不虔敬的人死了。	⁶For why did Christ, when as yet we were weak, according to the time, die for the ungodly?
⁷為義人死，是罕有的事：為善人或許有敢死的；	⁷For scarce for a just man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man some one would dare to die.
⁸但是，基督在我們還是罪人的時候，就為我們死了，這證明了天主怎樣愛我們。	⁸But God commendeth his charity towards us; because when as yet we were sinners, according to the time,
⁹現在，我們既因他的血而成義，我們更要藉着他脫免天主的義怒，	⁹Christ died for us; much more therefore, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.
¹⁰因為，假如我們還在為仇敵的時候，因着他聖子的死得與天主和好了；那麼，在和好之後，我們一定更要因着他的生命得救了。	¹⁰For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
¹¹不但如此，我們現今既藉着我們的主耶穌基督獲得了和好，也必藉着他而歡躍於天主。	¹¹And not only so; but also we glory in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received reconciliation.
¹²故此，就如罪惡藉着一人進入了世界，死亡藉着罪惡也進入了世界；這樣死亡就殃及了眾人，因為眾人都犯了罪：成義也是如此──	¹²Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world, and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men, in whom all have sinned.
¹³沒有法律之前，罪惡已經在世界上；但因沒有法律，罪惡本不應算為罪惡。	¹³For until the law sin was in the world; but sin was not imputed, when the law was not.
¹⁴但從亞當起，直到梅瑟，死亡卻作了王，連那些沒有像亞當一樣違法犯罪的人，也屬它權下：這亞當原是那未來亞當的預像。	¹⁴But death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even over them also who have not sinned after the similitude of the transgression of Adam, who is a figure of him who was to come.
¹⁵但恩寵決不是過犯所能比的，因為如果因一人的過犯大眾都死了；那麼，天主的恩寵和那因耶穌基督一人的恩寵所施與的恩惠，更要豐富地洋溢到大眾身上。	¹⁵But not as the offence, so also the gift. For if by the offence of one, many died; much more the grace of God, and the gift, by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
¹⁶這恩惠的效果，也不是那因一人犯罪的結果所能比的，因為審判固然是由於一人的過犯而來，被判定罪；但恩賜卻使人在犯了許多過犯之後，獲得成義。	¹⁶And not as it was by one sin, so also is the gift. For judgment indeed was by one unto condemnation; but grace is of many offences, unto justification.
¹⁷如果因一人的過犯，死亡就因那一人作了王；那麼，那些豐富地蒙受了恩寵和正義恩惠的人，更要藉着耶穌基督一人在生命中為王了。	¹⁷For if by one man's offence death reigned through one; much more they who receive abundance of grace, and of the gift, and of justice, shall reign in life through one, Jesus Christ.
¹⁸這樣看來：就如因一人的過犯，眾人都被定了罪；同樣，也因一人的正義行為，眾人也都獲得了正義和生命。	¹⁸Therefore, as by the offence of one, unto all men to condemnation; so also by the justice of one, unto all men to justification of life.
¹⁹正如因一人的悖逆，大眾都成了罪人；同樣，因一人的服從，大眾都成了義人。	¹⁹For as by the disobedience of one man, many were made sinners; so also by the obedience of one, many shall be made just.
²⁰法律本是後加的，是為增多過犯；但是罪惡在那裏越多，恩寵在那裏也越格外豐富，	²⁰Now the law entered in, that sin might abound. And where sin abounded, grace did more abound.
²¹以致罪惡怎樣藉死亡為王，恩寵也怎樣藉正義而為王，使人藉着我們的主耶穌基督獲得永生。	²¹That as sin hath reigned to death; so also grace might reign by justice unto life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
