| 1神諭：上主論以色列的話：展開蒼天，奠定大地，在人體內造化人靈的上主的斷語： | 1The burden of the word of the Lord upon Israel. Thus saith the Lord, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundations of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man in him: |
| 2看，我要使耶路撒冷成為四周萬民的醉杯；在耶路撒冷被圍困時，猶大也必如此。 | 2Behold I will make Jerusalem a lintel of surfeiting to all the people round about: and Juda also shall be in the siege against Jerusalem. |
| 3在那一天，我必使耶路撒冷成為一切民族的舉重石；凡欲舉起它的，必受重傷。地上所有的民族，都要聚集起來攻擊它。 | 3And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone to all people: all that shall lift it up shall be rent and torn, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall be gathered together against her. |
| 4在那一天──上主的斷語──我要以驚慌打擊一切戰馬，以瘋狂打擊騎兵；但對猶大家，我卻要睜開我的雙眼；我要以盲目打擊萬民所有的戰馬。 | 4In that day, saith the Lord, I will strike every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open my eyes upon the house of Juda, and will strike every horse of the nations with blindness. |
| 5那時，猶大的族長心裏必要說：耶路撒冷居民的力量全在乎萬軍的上主，他們的天主。 | 5And the governors of Juda shall say in their heart: Let the inhabitants of Jerusalem be strengthened for me in the Lord of hosts, their God. |
| 6在那一天，我必要使猶大的族長好像木柴中的火盆，有如草堆中的火把；他們必左右吞滅四周所有的民族；但耶路撒冷必仍安居在自己的原處。 | 6In that day I will make the governors of Juda like a furnace of fire amongst wood, and as a firebrand amongst hay: and they shall devour all the people round about, to the right hand, and to the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place in Jerusalem. |
| 7上主首先要使猶大的家族勝利，免得達味家的光榮和耶路撒冷居民的光榮超過猶大。 | 7And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda, as in the beginning: that the house of David, and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not boast and magnify themselves against Juda. |
| 8在那一天，上主必要保衛耶路撒冷的居民，使他們中的衰弱者，在那一天有如達味，而達味家在他們前卻有如神，有如上主的使者。 | 8In that day shall the Lord protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he that hath offended among them in that day shall be as David: and the house of David, as that of God, as an angel of the Lord in their sight. |
| 9在那一天，我必設法消滅一切來攻打耶路撒冷的異民。 | 9And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. |
| 10我要對達味家和耶路撒冷的居民傾注憐憫和哀禱的神，他們要瞻望他們所刺透的那一位：哀悼他如哀悼獨生子，痛哭他像痛哭長子。 | 10And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace, and of prayers: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn. |
| 11在那一天，在耶路撒冷必要大舉哀悼，有如在默基多平原中的哈達得黎孟的哀悼。 | 11In that day there shall be a great lamentation in Jerusalem like the lamentation of Adadremmon in the plain of Mageddon. |
| 12全國將要哀悼，各家各族合成一夥：達味家的家族一夥，他們的女人一夥；納堂家的家族一夥，他們的女人一夥； | 12And the land shall mourn: families and families apart: the families of the house of David apart, and their women apart: |
| 13肋未家的家族一夥，他們的女人一夥；史米家族一夥，他們的女人一夥； | 13The families of the house of Nathan apart, and their women apart: the families of the house of Levi apart, and their women apart: the families of Semei apart, and their women apart. |
| 14其餘所有的家族，各家各族合成一夥，他們的女人一夥。 | 14All the rest of the families, families and families apart, and their women apart. |
