匝加利亞	Zechariah
¹達理阿二年八月，上主的話傳給依多的孫子，貝勒基雅的兒子匝加利亞先知說：	¹In the eighth month, in the second year of king Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zacharias the son of Barachias, the son of Addo, the prophet, saying:
²「上主曾對你們的祖先大發忿怒；	²The Lord hath been exceeding angry with your fathers.
³但是如今你應對他們說：萬軍的上主這樣說：你們歸向我罷！──萬軍上主的斷語──我必轉向你們，萬軍的上主說。	³And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Turn ye to me, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will turn to you, saith the Lord of hosts.
⁴你們不要如同你們的祖先；以前的先知曾對你們宣告說：萬軍的上主這樣說：你們轉身離開你們的邪道，和你們的惡行罷！但是他們不聽，也不理會我──上主的斷語。	⁴Be not as your fathers, to whom the former prophets have cried, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Turn ye from your evil ways, and from your wicked thoughts: but they did not give ear, neither did they hearken to me, saith the Lord.
⁵你們的祖先在哪裏？先知難道能永遠生存？	⁵Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, shall they live always?
⁶但是我吩咐我的僕人先知們所傳的話和定案，豈不是臨到你們的祖先身上了嗎？致使他們翻悔說：萬軍的上主真按照他的決定，並按照我們的行徑和作為對待了我們。」	⁶But yet my words, and my ordinances, which I gave in charge to my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers, and they returned, and said: As the Lord of hosts thought to do to us according to our ways, and according to our devices, so he hath done to us.
⁷達理阿二年十一月，即「舍巴特」月二十四日，上主的話傳給依多的孫子，貝勒基雅的兒子匝加利亞先知說：	⁷In the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month which is called Sabath, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zacharias the son of Barachias, the son of Addo, the prophet, saying:
⁸夜間我看見一個人騎着栗色的馬，立在盆地的長春樹中間，他後面尚有栗色、雜色和白色的馬。	⁸I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees, that were in the bottom: and behind him were horses, red, speckled, and white.
⁹我遂問說：「我主，這是什麼意思？」那與我談話的使者對我說：「我要給你解釋這有什麼意義。」	⁹And I said: What are these, my Lord? and the angel that spoke in me, said to me: I will shew thee what these are:
¹⁰但那站在長春樹中間的人卻答說：「這些是上主派遣巡視大地的。」	¹⁰And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered, and said: These are they, whom the Lord hath sent to walk through the earth.
¹¹他們答覆那站在長春樹中間的上主的使者說：「我們已經巡視了大地，見全地都安寧平靖。」	¹¹And they answered the angel of the Lord, that stood among the myrtle trees, and said: We have walked through the earth, and behold all the earth is inhabited, and is at rest.
¹²上主的使者說：「萬軍的上主！你拒絕憐恤耶路撒冷和猶大城邑，要到何時呢？你向他們發怒，至今已經七十年了！」	¹²And the angel of the Lord answered, and said: O Lord of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem, and on the cities of Juda, with which thou hast been angry? this is now the seventieth year.
¹³上主就用鼓舞慰藉的話答覆了那與我談話的使者。	¹³And the Lord answered the angel, that spoke in me, good words, comfortable words.
¹⁴那與我談話的使者便對我說：「你要宣佈說：萬軍的上主這樣說：我仍要以極度的熱情愛耶路撒冷和熙雍；	¹⁴And the angel that spoke in me, said to me: Cry thou, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I am zealous for Jerusalem, and Sion with a great zeal.
¹⁵但我極惱怒那些傲慢的異民，因為我對我的百姓稍一發怒，他們便大加虐待。	¹⁵And I am angry with a great anger with the wealthy nations: for I was angry a little, but they helped forward the evil.
¹⁶為此上主這樣說：我再要以慈悲對待耶路撒冷，我的殿宇必要在其中重建起來──萬軍上主的斷語──繩墨必要再拉在耶路撒冷上。	¹⁶Therefore thus saith the Lord: I will return to Jerusalem in mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the Lord of hosts: and the building line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
¹⁷你要再宣佈說：萬軍的上主這樣說：我的城邑必再充滿幸福，上主必再憐恤熙雍，再揀選耶路撒冷。」	¹⁷Cry yet, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: My cities shall yet flow with good things: and the Lord will yet comfort Sion, and he will yet choose Jerusalem.
¹⁸	¹⁸And I lifted up my eyes, and saw: and behold four horns.
¹⁹	¹⁹And I said to the angel that spoke to me: What are these? And he said to me: These are the horns that have scattered Juda, and Israel, and Jerusalem.
²⁰	²⁰And the Lord shewed me four smiths.
²¹	²¹And I said: What come these to do? and he spoke, saying: These are the horns which have scattered Juda every man apart, and none of them lifted up his head: and these are come to fray them, to cast down the horns of the nations, that have lifted up the horn upon the land of Juda to scatter it.
