¹達味與掌管禮儀的首長，也給阿撒夫、赫曼和耶杜通的子孫分派了任務，要他們以琴瑟、鐃鈸奏聖樂。任職的人數如下:	¹For the liturgy, David and the senior army officers set apart the sons of Asaph, of Heman and of Jeduthun, who prophesied playing lyre and harp and cymbal, and a list was made of those with these duties to perform.
²阿撒夫的子孫：匝雇爾、約色夫、乃塔尼雅和阿沙勒拉，都是阿撒夫的子孫，歸阿撒夫指揮；阿撒夫則照君王的指示奏聖樂。	²Sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph who prophesied whenever the king commanded.
³屬耶杜通的，有耶杜通的子孫革達里雅、責黎、耶沙雅、史米、哈沙彼雅、瑪提提雅，一共六人，都歸他們的父親耶杜通指揮。耶杜通彈琴奏樂，稱謝頌揚上主。	³For Jeduthun: sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, Mattithiah; there were six of them under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, to the sound of the lyre, sang praise and thanks to the Lord.
⁴屬赫曼的，有赫曼的子孫步克雅、瑪塔尼雅、烏齊耳、叔巴耳、耶黎摩特、哈納尼雅、哈納尼、厄里雅達、基達耳提、洛瑪默提厄則爾、約市貝卡沙、瑪羅提、曷提爾和瑪哈齊約特。	⁴For Heman: sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romantiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
⁵這些人都是那奉天主命，作君王「先見者」的赫曼的兒子，天主為使他有能力，賜給了他十四個兒子和三個女兒。	⁵All these were sons of Heman, the king's seer; these sounded the trumpet when Yahweh's word came. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters;
⁶這些人皆歸他們的父親指揮，在上主的殿內，以鐃、鈸、琴、瑟、演奏聖樂。在天主的聖殿供職時，受君王指示的是阿撒夫、耶杜通和赫曼。	⁶all of them sang in the Temple of Yahweh under their father's direction to the sound of cymbal, harp and lyre, for the liturgy in the house of Yahweh at the king's direction.
⁷這些人連同他們在歌詠上主的事上，受過特殊訓練的弟兄，共計二百八十八人。	⁷All of these, whether of Asaph, Jeduthun or Heman, who were trained in singing to Yahweh, all of them skilled men, were altogether two hundred and eighty-eight.
⁸這些人，不分大小，不分師生，一律以抽籤分派職務。	⁸They drew lots to determine the assignment of duties of each of them whether they were young or old, experts or beginners.
⁹首先中籤的是屬阿撒夫的約色夫，他與他的兄弟及他的兒子共十二人；次為革達里雅，他與他的兄弟及他的兒子共十二人；	⁹The first lot fell to the Asaphite, Joseph. The second was Gedaliah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁰三為匝雇爾，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁰The third was Zaccur, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹¹四為依責黎，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹¹The fourth was Izri, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹²五為乃塔尼雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹²The fifth was Nethaniah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹³六為步克雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹³The sixth was Bukkiah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁴七為耶沙勒拉，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁴The seventh was Jesharelah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁵八為耶沙雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁵The eighth was Jeshaiah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁶九為瑪塔尼雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁶The ninth was Mattaniah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁷十為史米，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁷The tenth was Shimei, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁸十一為阿匝勒耳，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁸The eleventh was Azarel, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
¹⁹十二為哈沙彼雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	¹⁹The twelfth was Hashabiah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁰十三為叔巴耳，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁰The thirteenth was Shubael, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²¹十四為瑪提提雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²¹The fourteenth was Jeremoth, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²²十五為耶黎摩特，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²²The fifteenth was Mattithiah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²³十六為哈納尼雅，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²³The sixteenth was Hananiah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁴十七為約市貝卡沙，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁴The seventeenth was Joshbekashah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁵十八為哈納尼，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁵The eighteenth was Hanani, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁶十九為瑪羅提，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁶The nineteenth was Mallothi, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁷二十為厄里雅達，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁷The twentieth was Eliathah, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁸二十一為曷提爾，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁸The twenty-first was Hothir, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
²⁹二十二為基達耳提，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	²⁹The twenty-second was Giddalti, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
³⁰二十三為瑪哈齊約特，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人；	³⁰The twenty-third was Mahazioth, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
³¹二十四為洛瑪默提厄則爾，他與他的兒子及他的兄弟共十二人。	³¹The twenty-fourth was Romamtiezer, he and his sons and brothers were twelve.
