申命紀	Deuteronomy
¹當你進入上主你的天主賜給你作產業的土地，佔領後住在那裏時，	¹When you come into the land which Yahweh, your God, gives you as an inheritance, when you possess it and dwell in it,
²應由上主你的天主賜給你的土地上，將一切田產的初熟之物，取出一部分放在筐裏，往上主你的天主選定立自己名號的地方去，	²you shall take the firstfruits of all your harvests, place them in a large basket and bring it to the place chosen by Yahweh, your God, as the dwelling place for his Name.
³到當時供職的司祭前，對他說：『我今日向上主我的天主明認，我已來到了上主對我們的祖先誓許賜與我們的地方。』	³Present these to the priest who is in office, and say to him, "On this day, I confess that Yahweh, my God, let me enter into the land he promised our fathers that he would give us."
⁴司祭就由你手中接過筐子，放在上主你的天主的祭壇前；	⁴Then the priest shall take the large basket from your hands and place it before the altar of Yahweh, your God,
⁵然後你就在上主你的天主面前聲明說：『我的祖先原是個飄泊的阿蘭人，下到埃及，同少數的家人寄居在那裏，竟成了一強大有力，人口眾多的民族。	⁵and you shall say these words before Yahweh, "My father was a wandering Aramean. He went down to Egypt to find refuge there, while still few in number; but in that country, he became a great and powerful nation.
⁶埃及虐待我們，壓迫我們，勒令我們做苦工。	⁶The Egyptians maltreated us, oppressed us and subjected us to harsh slavery.
⁷我們向上主我們祖先的天主呼號，上主俯聽了我們的哀聲，垂視了我們的苦痛、勞役和所受的壓迫。	⁷So we called to Yahweh, the God of our fathers, and Yahweh listened to us. He saw our humiliation, our hard labor and the oppression to which we were subjected.
⁸上主以強力的手，伸展的臂，巨大的恐嚇，神蹟奇事，領我們出了埃及，	⁸He brought us out of Egypt with a firm hand, manifesting his power with signs and awesome wonders.
⁹來到這地方，將這流奶流蜜的土地賜給了我們。	⁹And he brought us here to give us this land flowing with milk and honey.
¹⁰上主，請看！我現今帶來了你賜給我的田地裏所出產的初熟之物。』遂將這初熟之物放在上主你的天主面前，俯伏朝拜上主你的天主。	¹⁰So now I bring and offer the firstfruits of the land which you, Yahweh, have given me."
¹¹然後你與肋未人，和住在你中間的外方人，歡樂享受上主你的天主賜與你和你家庭的一切福分。	¹¹You shall place these before Yahweh, bow before him and worship Yahweh, your God. Afterwards, you and your household shall feast on all the good things Yahweh has given you and your family. The Levite and the foreigner who lives among you shall also feast with you.
¹²在第三年，即獻什一之年，當你把你一切出產十分之一，完全取出，分給肋未人、外方人、孤兒和寡婦，並使他們在你的城鎮中吃飽之後，	¹²On the third year, the year of tithing, when you have finished separating the tithes from all your harvests and have given them to the Levite, the foreigner, the widow and the orphan, that they may eat within your very city until they are satisfied,
¹³你應到上主你的天主面前說：『我由我家中完全交出了這祝聖的一份，分給了肋未人、外方人、孤兒和寡婦，全照你吩咐我的命令；我沒有違犯你的命令，也沒有忽略。	¹³you shall say in the presence of Yahweh, "I have brought out of my house the sacred share. I have given it to the Levite, the foreigner, the orphan and the widow according to the commandments that you have given me, without going against any of them or forgetting them.
¹⁴這些聖物，在我居喪時，我沒有取食；在不潔中，我沒有交出，更沒有獻給死人；我聽從了上主我的天主的話，全照你吩咐我的一切履行了。	¹⁴Of that tithe I have not eaten anything in time of mourning, or removed any of it while I was unclean. I have offered nothing to the dead. I have obeyed the voice of Yahweh, my God, and have done as he has commanded me.
¹⁵願你由你神聖的住所，由天上俯視，祝福你的人民以色列，和你賜給我們的土地，即你向我們祖先所誓許的那流奶流蜜的地方。』	¹⁵From your sanctuary, from on high in the heavens, look down and bless your people Israel, as you bless the land which you have given us just as you had promised to our fathers, the land flowing with milk and honey."
¹⁶上主你的天主今天吩咐你遵行這些法令和規則，你應全心全靈謹守遵行。	¹⁶On this day, Yahweh, your God, commands you to fulfill these norms and these commandments. Obey them now and put them into practice with all your heart and with all your soul.
¹⁷今天你明認上主是你的天主，願履行他的道路，謹守他的法令、誡命和規則，聽從他的話。	¹⁷Today Yahweh has declared to you that he will be your God, and so you shall follow his ways, observing his norms, his commandments and his laws, and listening to his voice.
¹⁸上主今天也照他對你所說的，明認你為他特屬的人民，只要你謹守他的一切誡命，	¹⁸Today Yahweh has declared that you will be his very own people even as he had promised you, and you must obey all his commandments.
¹⁹並且他要使你在名譽、聲望和光榮上，遠超過他所造的一切民族，使你如他所說的，成為屬於上主你的天主的聖潔人民。」	¹⁹He, for his part, will give you honor, renown and glory, and set you high above all the nations he has made, and you will become a nation consecrated to Yahweh, your God, as he has declared.
