創世紀	Genesis
¹以下是亞當後裔的族譜：當天主造人的時候，是按天主的肖像造的，	¹This is the account of Adam's descendants. When God created Adam he made him in the likeness of God;
²造了一男一女，且在造他們的那一天，祝福了他們，稱他們為「人」。	²male and female he created them; he blessed them and called them Man on the day they were created.
³亞當一百三十歲時，生了一個兒子，也像自己的模樣和肖像，給他起名叫舍特。	³Adam was a hundred and thirty years old when he became father of a son born in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
⁴亞當生舍特後，還活了八百年，生了其他的兒女。	⁴After the birth of Seth, Adam lived for eight hundred years and had other sons and daughters.
⁵亞當共活了九百三十歲死了。	⁵Altogether Adam lived nine hundred and thirty years; then he died.
⁶舍特一百零五歲時，生了厄諾士。	⁶When Seth was a hundred and five, he became father of Enosh.
⁷舍特生厄諾士後，還活了八百零七年，生了其他的兒女。	⁷After the birth of Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years. He had other sons and daughters.
⁸舍特共活了九百一十二歲死了。	⁸Altogether Seth lived nine hundred and twelve years; then he died.
⁹厄諾士九十歲時生了刻南。	⁹When Enosh was ninety years old, he became the father of Kenan.
¹⁰厄諾士生刻南後，還活了八百一十五年，生了其他的兒女。	¹⁰After the birth of Kenan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and he had other sons and daughters.
¹¹厄諾士共活了九百零五歲死了。	¹¹Altogether Enosh lived nine hundred and five years; then he died.
¹²刻南七十歲時，生了瑪拉肋耳。	¹²When Kenan was seventy years old, he became father of Mahalalel.
¹³刻南生瑪拉肋耳後，還活了八百四十年，生了其他的兒女。	¹³After the birth of Mahalalel, Kenan lived eight hundred and forty years, and he had other sons and daughters.
¹⁴刻南共活了九百一十歲死了。	¹⁴Altogether Kenan lived nine hundred and ten years; then he died.
¹⁵瑪拉肋耳六十五歲時，生了耶勒得。	¹⁵When Mahalalel was sixty-five, he became the father of Jared.
¹⁶瑪拉肋耳生耶勒得後，還活了八百三十年，生了其他的兒女。	¹⁶After that, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had other sons and daughters.
¹⁷瑪拉肋耳共活了八百九十五歲死了。	¹⁷All the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; then he died.
¹⁸耶勒得一百六十二歲時，生了哈諾客。	¹⁸When Jared was a hundred and sixty-two, he became father of Enoch.
¹⁹耶勒得生哈諾客後。還活了八百年，生了其他的兒女。	¹⁹After the birth of Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and he had other sons and daughters.
²⁰耶勒得共活了九百六十二歲死了。	²⁰Altogether Jared lived nine hundred and sixty-two years; then he died.
²¹哈諾客六十五歲時，生了默突舍拉。	²¹When Enoch was sixty-five, he became father of Methuselah.
²²哈諾客常與天主往來。哈諾客生默突舍拉後，還活了三百年，生了其他的兒女。	²²After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and he had other sons and daughters.
²³哈諾客共活了三百六十五歲。	²³In all Enoch lived three hundred and sixty-five years.
²⁴哈諾客時與天主往來，然後就不見了，因為天主將他提去。	²⁴After Enoch had walked with God, he disappeared because God took him up.
²⁵默突舍拉一百八十七歲時，生了拉默客。	²⁵When Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven, he became father of Lamech.
²⁶默突舍拉生了拉默客後，還活了七百八十二年，生了其他的兒女。	²⁶After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he had other sons and daughters.
²⁷默突舍拉共活了九百六十九歲死了。	²⁷In all Methuselah lived nine hundred and sixty-nine years; then he died.
²⁸拉默客一百八十二歲時，生了一個兒子，	²⁸Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two when he became father of a son
²⁹給他起名叫諾厄說：「這孩子要使我們在上主詛咒的地上，在我們做的工作和勞苦上，獲得欣慰！」	²⁹and named him Noah, for he said, "He will console us in the hard toil and suffering of our hands, because of the soil that was cursed by Yahweh.
³⁰拉默客生諾厄後，還活了五百九十五年，生了其他的兒女。	³⁰After the birth of Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and he had other sons and daughters.
³¹拉默客共活了七百七十七歲死了。	³¹In all Lamech lived seven hundred and seventy-seven years; then he died.
³²諾厄五百歲時，生了閃、含和耶斐特。	³²When Noah was five hundred years old, he became the father of Sem, Ham and Japheth.
