¹天主祝福諾厄和他的兒子們說：「你們要滋生繁殖，充滿大地。	¹God blessed Noah and his sons and he said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth.
²地上的各種野獸，天空的各種飛鳥，地上的各種爬蟲和水中的各種游魚，都要對你們表示驚恐畏懼：這一切都已交在你們手中。	²Fear and dread of you will be in all the animals of the earth and in all the birds of the air, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. They are given to you.
³凡有生命的動物，都可作你們的食物；我將這一切賜給你們，有如以前賜給你們蔬菜一樣；	³Everything that moves and lives shall be food for you; as I gave you the green plants, I have now given you everything.
⁴凡有生命，帶血的肉，你們不可吃；	⁴Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is its blood.
⁵並且，我要追討害你們生命的血債：向一切野獸追討，向人，向為弟兄的人，追討人命。	⁵But I will also demand a reckoning for your lifeblood. I will demand it from every animal; and from man, too, I will demand a reckoning for the life of his fellow man.
⁶凡流人血的，他的血也要為人所流，因為人是照天主的肖像造的。	⁶He who sheds the blood of man shall have his blood shed by man; for in the image of God has God made man.
⁷你們要生育繁殖，在地上滋生繁衍。」	⁷As for you, be fruitful and increase. Abound on the earth and be master of it."
⁸天主對諾厄和他的兒子們說：	⁸God spoke to Noah and his son,
⁹「看，我現在與你們和你們未來的後裔立約，	⁹"See I am making a covenant with you and with your descendants after you;
¹⁰並與同你們在一起的一切生物：飛鳥、牲畜和一切地上野獸，即凡由方舟出來的一切地上生物立約。	¹⁰also with every living animal with you: birds, cattle, that is, with every living creature of the earth that came out of the ark.
¹¹我與你們立約：凡有血肉的，以後決不再受洪水湮滅，再沒有洪水來毀滅大地。」	¹¹I establish my covenant with you. Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."
¹²天主說：「這是我在我與你們以及同你們在一起的一切生物之間，立約的永遠標記：	¹²God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I make between me and you, and every animal living with you for all future generations.
¹³我把虹霓放在雲間，作我與大地之間立約的標記。	¹³I set my bow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
¹⁴幾時我興雲遮蓋大地，雲中要出現虹霓，	¹⁴When I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
¹⁵那時我便想起我與你們以及各種屬血肉的生物之間所立的盟約：這樣水就不會再成為洪水，毀滅一切血肉的生物。	¹⁵I will remember the covenant between me and you and every kind of living creature, so that never again will floodwaters destroy all flesh.
¹⁶幾時虹霓在雲間出現，我一看見，就想起在天主與地上各種屬血肉的生物之間所立的永遠盟約。」	¹⁶When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that exists on the earth."
¹⁷天主對諾厄說：「這就是我在我與地上一切有血肉的生物之間，所立的盟約的標記。」	¹⁷God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have made between me and all that has life on the earth."
¹⁸諾厄的兒子由方舟出來的，有閃、含、和耶斐特。含是客納罕的父親。	¹⁸The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. Ham is the ancestor of Canaan.
¹⁹這三人是諾厄的兒子；人類就由這三人分布天下。	¹⁹These were Noah's three sons and from them the whole earth was peopled.
²⁰諾厄原是農夫，遂開始種植葡萄園。	²⁰Noah, a man of the soil, set about planting a vineyard.
²¹一天他喝酒喝醉了，就在自己的帳幕內脫去了衣服。	²¹He drank the wine, became drunk, and lay uncovered in the middle of his tent.
²²客納罕的父親含看見了父親赤身露體，遂去告訴外面的兩個兄弟。	²²When Ham, Canaan's ancestor, saw his father's nakedness, he told his two brothers outside the tent.
²³閃和耶斐特二人於是拿了件外衣，搭在肩上，倒退着走進去，蓋上父親的裸體。他們的臉背着，沒有看見父親的裸體。	²³But Shem and Japheth took a cloak, put it on their shoulders, the two of them, then walked backwards and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned away and they did not see their father's nakedness.
²⁴諾厄醒了後，知道了小兒對他作的事，	²⁴When Noah awoke from his wine he knew what his youngest son had done to him.
²⁵就說：「客納罕是可咒罵的，給兄弟當最下賤的奴隸。」	²⁵And he said, "Cursed be Canaan! He shall be his brothers' meanest slave!"
²⁶又說：「上主，閃的天主，應受讚美，客納罕應作他的奴隸。	²⁶He then added: "Blessed be Yahweh, God of Shem, let Canaan be his slave!
²⁷願天主擴展耶斐特，使他住在閃的帳幕內；客納罕應作他的奴隸。」	²⁷May God extend (the territory of) Japheth, and may he live in the tents of Shem! And may Canaan be his slave!"
²⁸洪水以後，諾厄又活了三百五十年。	²⁸Noah lived three hundred and fifty years after the flood.
²⁹諾厄共活了九百五十歲死了。	²⁹In all Noah lived for nine hundred and fifty years. Then he died.
