依撒意亞	Isaiah
¹由葉瑟的樹幹將生出一個嫩枝，由它的根上將發出一個幼芽。	¹From the stump of Jesse a shoot will come forth; from his roots a branch will grow and bear fruit.
²上主的神，智慧和聰敏的神，超見和剛毅的神，明達和敬畏上主的神將住在他內。	²The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon him - a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and power, a Spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
³【他將以敬畏上主為快慰，】他必不照他眼見的施行審訊，也不按他耳聞的執行判斷。	³Not by appearances will he judge, nor by what is said must he decide,
⁴他將以正義審訊微賤者，以公理判斷世上的謙卑者，以他口中的棍杖打擊暴戾者，以他唇邊的氣息誅殺邪惡者。	⁴but with justice he will judge the poor and with righteousness decide for the meek. Like a rod, his word will strike the oppressor, and the breath of his lips slay the wicked.
⁵正義將是他腰間的束帶，忠誠將是他脅下的佩帶。	⁵Justice will be the girdle of his waist, truth the girdle of his loins.
⁶豺狼將與羔羊共處，虎豹將與小山羊同宿；牛犢和幼獅一同飼養，一個幼童即可帶領牠們。	⁶The wolf will dwell with the lamb, the leopard will rest beside the kid, the calf and the lion cub will feed together and a little child will lead them.
⁷母牛和母熊將一起牧放，牠們的幼雛將一同伏臥；獅子將與牛一樣吃草。	⁷Befriending each other, the cow and the bear will see their young ones lie down together. Like cattle, the lion will eat hay.
⁸吃奶的嬰兒將遊戲於蝮蛇的洞口，斷奶的幼童將伸手探入毒蛇的窩穴。	⁸By the cobra's den the infant will play. The child will put his hand into the viper's lair.
⁹在我的整個聖山上，再沒有誰作惡，也沒有誰害人，因為大地充滿了對上主的認識，有如海洋滿溢海水。	⁹No one will harm or destroy over my holy mountain, for as water fills the sea the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord.
¹⁰那一日，葉瑟的根子將成為萬民的旗幟，列邦必將尋求他；他駐節之地，將是輝煌的。	¹⁰On that day the "Root of Jesse" will be raised as a signal for the nations. The people will come in search of him, thus making his dwelling place glorious.
¹¹那一日，吾主將再舉起自己的手，贖回他百姓的殘存者，即殘留於亞述、埃及、帕特洛斯、雇士、厄藍、史納爾、哈瑪特和海島上的人。	¹¹On that day Yahweh will again raise his hand to reclaim the remnant of his people from Assyria; from Egypt, Pathros and Ethiopia; from Elam, Shinar, Hamath and from the coastlands of the sea.
¹²他將向列邦高舉旗幟，召集以色列的流徙者，由大地四極聚集猶大的離散者。	¹²He will set up a signal that can be seen from all the countries and assemble the exiles of Israel; he will gather the scattered people of Judah from all the corners of the earth.
¹³厄弗辣因的嫉妒必將止息，猶大的仇視勢必消滅：厄弗辣因不再忌恨猶大，猶大不再敵視厄弗辣因。	¹³Then Ephraim will cast off its jealousy and Judah will be rid of its enemies. Ephraim will not envy Judah nor Judah be hostile to Ephraim.
¹⁴他們將往西撲向培肋舍特的山麓，一起擄掠東方的子民；厄東和摩阿布將屬於他們的權下，阿孟子民將順服於他們。	¹⁴But the two will sweep down together upon the shoulder of Philistia to the west and plunder the nations to the east. They will lay their hands upon Edom and Moab and make the Ammonites their subjects.
¹⁵上主將使埃及海灣涸竭，藉烈風向大河揮手把它分成七個支流，使人穿着鞋即可渡過。	¹⁵Yahweh will dry up the tongue of the Egyptian sea; he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates in scorching fury, and break it into seven streams that men can cross dry-shod.
¹⁶為他百姓的殘存者，即存留在亞述中者，將有一條大道，有如為當日由埃及地上來的以色列一樣。	¹⁶Then there will be a highway for the remnant of his people coming back from Assyria, as there was when Israel came out of Egypt.
