| 2權能和威嚴為他所有，他在高天締造和平。 | 2His is dominion and awesome power, he who establishes peace in the heavens. |
| 3他的隊伍，豈可勝數？他的光明升起，誰不蒙受照耀？ | 3Can his armies be numbered? Upon whom does his light not rise? |
| 4人在天主面前，怎能自以為義？婦人所生的，怎能自稱潔淨？ | 4How can man be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure? |
| 5在他眼中，月亮都不明亮，星辰也不皎潔， | 5Even the moon is not bright nor are the stars pure in his sight - |
| 6何況像蟲的人，像蛆的人子！ | 6how much less man - this insect, the son of man - a worm? |
