| 1耶穌講完了這些話，便舉目向天說：「父啊！時辰來到了，求你光榮你的子，好叫子也光榮你： | 1After saying this, Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come; give glory to your Son, that the Son may give glory to you. |
| 2因為你賜給了他權柄掌管凡有血肉的人，是為叫他將永生賜給一切你所賜給他的人。 | 2You have given him power over all mortals, and you want him to bring eternal life to all you have entrusted to him. |
| 3永生就是：認識你，惟一的真天主，和你所派遣來的耶穌基督。 | 3For this is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and the One you sent, Jesus Christ. |
| 4我在地上，已光榮了你，完成了你所委托我所作的工作。 | 4I have glorified you on earth and finished the work that you gave me to do. |
| 5父啊！現在，在你面前光榮我罷！賜給我在世界未有以前，我在你前所有的光榮罷！」 | 5Now, Father, give me in your presence the same Glory I had with you before the world began. |
| 6「我將你的名，已顯示給那些你由世界中所賜給我的人。他們原屬於你，你把他們托給了我，他們也遵守了你的話。 | 6I have made your name known to those you gave me from the world. They were yours and you gave them to me, and they kept your word. |
| 7現在，他們已知道：凡你賜給我的，都是由你而來的， | 7And now they know that all you have given me comes indeed from you. |
| 8因為你所授給我的話，我都傳給了他們；他們也接受了，也確實知道我是出於你，並且相信是你派遣了我。 | 8I have given them the teaching I received from you, and they received it and know in truth that I came from you; and they believe that you have sent me. |
| 9我為他們祈求，不為世界祈求，只為你賜給我的人祈求，因為他們原是屬於你的。 | 9I pray for them; I do not pray for the world but for those who belong to you and whom you have given to me - |
| 10我的一切都是你的，你的一切都是我的：我因他們已受到了光 榮。 | 10indeed all I have is yours and all you have is mine - and now they are my glory. |
| 11從今以後，我不在世界上了，但他們仍在世界上，我卻到你那裏去。聖父啊！求你因你的名，保全那些你所賜給我的人，使他們合而為一，正如我們一樣。 | 11I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world whereas I am going to you. Holy Father, keep them in your Name (that you have given me,) so that they may be one, just as we are. |
| 12當我和他們同在時，我因你的名，保全了你所賜給我的人，護衛了他們，其中除了那喪亡之子，沒有喪亡一個，這是為應驗經上的話。 | 12When I was with them, I kept them safe in your Name, and not one was lost except the one who was already lost, and in this the Scripture was fulfilled. |
| 13但如今我到你那裏去，我在世上講這話，是為叫他們的心充滿我的喜樂。 | 13But now I am coming to you and I leave these my words in the world that my joy may be complete in them. |
| 14我已將你的話授給了他們，世界卻憎恨他們，因為他們不屬於世界，就如我不屬於世界一樣。 | 14I have given them your word and the world has hated them because they are not of the world; just as I am not of the world. |
| 15我不求你將他們從世界上撤去，只求你保護他們脫免邪惡。 | 15I do not ask you to remove them from the world but to keep them from the evil one. |
| 16他們不屬於世界，就如我不屬於世界一樣。 | 16They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world; |
| 17求你以真理祝聖他們；你的話就是真理。 | 17consecrate them in the truth - your word is truth. |
| 18就如你派遣我到世界上來，照樣我也派遣他們到世界上去。 | 18I have sent them into the world as you sent me into the world, |
| 19我為他們祝聖我自己，為叫他們也因真理而被祝聖。」 | 19and for their sake, I go to the sacrifice by which I am consecrated, so that they too may be consecrated in truth. |
| 20「我不但為他們祈求，而且也為那些因他們的話而信從我的人祈求。 | 20I pray not only for these but also for those who through their word will believe in me. |
| 21願眾人都合而為一！父啊！願他們在我們內合而為一，就如你在我內，我在你內，為叫世界相信是你派遣了我。 | 21May they all be one as you Father are in me and I am in you. May they be one in us; so the world may believe that you have sent me. |
| 22我將你賜給我的光榮賜給了他們，為叫他們合而為一，就如我們原為一體一樣。 | 22I have given them the Glory you have given me, that they may be one as we are one: |
| 23我在他們內，你在我內，使他們完全合而為一，為叫世界知道是你派遣了我，並且你愛了他們，如愛了我一樣。 | 23I in them and you in me. Thus they shall reach perfection in unity and the world shall know that you have sent me and that I have loved them just as you loved me. |
| 24父啊！你所賜給我的人，我願我在那裏，他們也同我在一起，使他們享見你所賜給我的光榮，因為你在創世之前，就愛了我。 | 24Father, since you have given them to me, I want them to be with me where I am and see the Glory you gave me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. |
| 25公義的父啊！世界沒有認識你，我卻認識了你，這些人也知道是你派遣了我。 | 25Righteous Father, the world has not known you but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me. |
| 26我已經將你的名宣示給他們了，我還要宣示，好使你愛我的愛，在他們內，我也在他們內。」 | 26As I revealed your Name to them, so will I continue to reveal it, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I also may be in them." |
