馬爾谷福音	Mark
¹耶穌從那裏起身，來到猶太境界，約但河的對岸，群眾又聚集到他那裏，他又照常教訓他們。	¹Jesus then left that place and went to the province of Judea, beyond the Jordan River. Once more crowds gathered around him and once more he taught them, as he always did.
²有些法利塞人前來問耶穌：許不許丈夫休妻？意思是要試探他。	²Some (Pharisees came and) put him to the test with this question, "Is it right for a husband to divorce his wife?"
³耶穌回答他們說：「梅瑟吩咐了你們什麼？」	³He replied, "What law did Moses give you?"
⁴他們說：「梅瑟准許了寫休書休妻。」	⁴They answered, "Moses allowed us to write a certificate of dismissal in order to divorce."
⁵耶穌對他們說：「這是為了你們的心硬，他纔給你們寫下了這條法令。	⁵Then Jesus said to them, "Moses wrote this law for you, because you are stubborn.
⁶但是，從創造之初，天主造了他們一男一女。	⁶But in the beginning of creation God made them male and female,
⁷為此，人要離開他的父母，依附自己的妻子，	⁷and because of this, man has to leave father and mother and be joined to his wife,
⁸二人成為一體，以致他們再不是兩個，而是一體了。	⁸and the two shall become one body. So they are no longer two but one body.
⁹所以，天主所結合的，人不可拆散。」	⁹Therefore let no one separate what God has joined."
¹⁰回到家裏，門徒又問他這事，	¹⁰When they were indoors at home, the disciples again asked him about this
¹¹耶穌對他們說：「誰若休自己的妻子而另娶，就是犯姦淫，辜負妻子；	¹¹and he told them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against his wife,
¹²若妻子離棄自己的丈夫而另嫁，也是犯姦淫。」	¹²and the woman who divorces her husband and marries another also commits adultery."
¹³有人給耶穌領來一些小孩子，要他撫摸他們；門徒卻斥責他們。	¹³People were bringing their little children to him to have him touch them, and the disciples rebuked them for this.
¹⁴耶穌見了，就生了氣，對他們說：「讓小孩子到我跟前來，不要阻止他們！因為天主的國正屬於這樣的人。	¹⁴When Jesus noticed it, he was very angry and said, "Let the children come to me and don't stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
¹⁵我實在告訴你們：誰若不像小孩子一樣接受天主的國，決不能進去。」	¹⁵Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it."
¹⁶耶穌遂抱起他們來，給他們覆手，祝福了他們。	¹⁶Then he took the children in his arms and laying his hands on them, blessed them.
¹⁷正在耶穌出來行路時，跑來了一個人，跪在他面前，問他說：「善師，為承受永生，我該作什麼？」	¹⁷Just as Jesus was setting out on his journey again, a man ran up, knelt before him and asked, "Good Master, what must I do to have eternal life?"
¹⁸耶穌對他說：「你為什麼稱我善？除了天主一個外，沒有誰是善的。	¹⁸Jesus answered, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.
¹⁹誡命你都知道：不可殺人，不可奸淫，不可偷盜，不可做假見證，不可欺詐，應孝敬你的父母。」	¹⁹You know the commandments: Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not cheat, honor your father and mother."
²⁰他回答耶穌說：「師傅！這一切我從小就都遵守了。」	²⁰The man replied, "I have obeyed all these commandments since my childhood."
²¹耶穌定睛看他，就喜愛他，對他說：「你還缺少一樣：你去，變賣你所有的一切，施捨給窮人，你必有寶藏在天上，然後來，【背着十字架，】跟隨我！」	²¹Then Jesus looked steadily at him and loved him and he said, "For you, one thing is lacking. Go, sell what you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven. Then come and follow me."
²²因了這話，那人就面帶愁容，憂鬱地走了，因為他有許多產業。	²²On hearing these words, his face fell and he went away sorrowful for he was a man of great wealth.
²³耶穌周圍一看，對自己的門徒說：「那些有錢財的人，進天主的國是多麼難啊！」	²³Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!"
²⁴門徒就都驚奇他這句話。耶穌又對他們說：「孩子們！仗恃錢財的人，進天主的國是多麼難啊！	²⁴The disciples were shocked at these words, but Jesus insisted, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
²⁵駱駝穿過針孔，比富有的人進天主的國還容易。」	²⁵It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
²⁶他們就更加驚奇，彼此說：「這樣，誰還能得救？」	²⁶They were more astonished than ever and wondered, "Who, then, can be saved?"
²⁷耶穌注視他們說：「在人不可能，在天主卻不然，因為在天主，一切都是可能的。」	²⁷Jesus looked steadily at them and said, "For humans it is impossible, but not for God; all things are possible with God."
²⁸伯多祿開口對他說：「看，我們捨棄了一切，而跟隨了你。」	²⁸Peter spoke up and said, "We have given up everything to follow you."
²⁹耶穌回答說：「我實在告訴你們：人為了我，為了福音，而捨棄了房屋、或兄弟、或姊妹、或母親、或父親、或兒女、或田地，	²⁹Jesus answered, "Truly, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters, or father or mother, or children, or lands for my sake and for the Gospel,
³⁰沒有不在今時就得百倍的房屋、兄弟、姊妹、母親、兒女、田地──連迫害也在內，並在來世獲得永生的。	³⁰who will not receive his reward. I say to you: even in the midst of persecution he will receive a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and lands in the present time and in the world to come eternal life.
³¹但有許多在先的，要成為在後的；在後的，要成為在先的。」	³¹Do pay attention: Many who now are first will be last, and the last, first."
³²那時，他們在路上，要上耶路撒冷去，耶穌在門徒前頭走，他們都驚奇，跟隨的人也都害怕。耶穌又把那十二人帶到一邊，開始告訴他們那將要臨到他身上的事：	³²They were on the road going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead. The Twelve were anxious and those who followed were afraid. Once more Jesus took the Twelve aside to tell them what was to happen to him,
³³「看，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交於司祭長和經師；他們要定他的死罪，要把他交給外邦人；	³³"You see we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given over to the chief priests and the teachers of the Law. They will condemn him to death and hand him over to the foreigners
³⁴這些人要戲弄他，唾污他，鞭打他，殺害他；但三天以後，他必要復活。」	³⁴who will make fun of him, spit on him, scourge him and finally kill him; but three days later he will rise."
³⁵載伯德的兒子雅各伯和若望走到耶穌跟前，對他說；「師傅！我們願你允許我們的要求！」	³⁵James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Jesus and said to him, "Master, we want you to grant us what we are going to ask of you."
³⁶耶穌對他們說：「你們願意我給你們做什麼？」	³⁶And he said, "What do you want me to do for you?"
³⁷他們回答說：「賜我們在你的光榮中，一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」	³⁷They answered, "Grant us to sit one at your right and one at your left when you come in your glory."
³⁸耶穌對他們說：「你們不知道你們所求的是什麼；你們能飲我飲的爵嗎？或者，你們能受我受的洗嗎？」	³⁸But Jesus said to them, "You don't know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I drink or be baptized in the way I am baptized?"
³⁹他們對他說：「我們能。」耶穌就對他們說：「我飲的爵，你們必要飲；我受的洗，你們必要受；	³⁹They answered, "We can." And Jesus told them, "The cup that I drink you will drink, and you will be baptized in the way I am baptized.
⁴⁰但坐在我右邊或左邊，不是我可以給的，而是給誰預備了，就給誰。」	⁴⁰But to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to grant. It has been prepared for others."
⁴¹那十個聽了，就開始惱怒雅各伯和若望。	⁴¹On hearing this, the other ten were angry with James and John;
⁴²耶穌叫門徒過來，對他們說：「你們知道：在外邦人中，有尊為首領的，主宰他們，有大臣管轄他們；	⁴²Jesus then called them to him and said, "As you know, the so-called rulers of the nations act as tyrants and their great ones oppress them.
⁴³但你們中間，卻不可這樣：誰若願意在你們中間成為大的，就當作你們的僕役；	⁴³But it shall not be so among you; whoever would be great among you must be your servant,
⁴⁴誰若願意在你們中間為首，就當作眾人的奴僕，	⁴⁴and whoever would be first among you shall make himself slave of all.
⁴⁵因為人子，不是來受服事，而是來服事人，並交出自己的性命，為大眾作贖價。」	⁴⁵Think of the Son of Man who has not come to be served but to serve and to give his life to redeem many."
⁴⁶他們來到了耶里哥。耶穌和他的門徒及一大群人，從耶里哥出來的時候，有一個瞎眼的乞丐，即提買的兒子巴爾提買坐在路旁。	⁴⁶They came to Jericho. As Jesus was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar, Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside.
⁴⁷他一聽說是納匝肋人耶穌，就喊叫說：「耶穌，達味之子，可憐我罷！」	⁴⁷On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth passing by, he began to call out, "Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me!"
⁴⁸有許多人就斥責他，叫他不要作聲；但他越發喊叫說：「達味之子，可憐我罷！」	⁴⁸Many people scolded him and told him to keep quiet, but he shouted all the louder, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
⁴⁹耶穌就站住說：「叫他過來！」人就叫那瞎子，給他說：「放心！起來！他叫你呢！」	⁴⁹Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." So they called the blind man saying, "Take heart. Get up, he is calling you."
⁵⁰瞎子就仍下自己的外衣，跳起來，走到耶穌跟前。	⁵⁰He immediately threw aside his cloak, jumped up and went to Jesus.
⁵¹耶穌對他說：「你願意我給你做什麼？」瞎子說：「師傅！叫我看見！」	⁵¹Then Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said, "Master, let me see again!"
⁵²耶穌對他說：「去罷！你的信德救了你。」瞎子立刻看見了，就在路上跟着耶穌去了。	⁵²And Jesus said to him, "Go your way, your faith has made you well." And immediately he could see, and he followed Jesus along the road.
