| 1安息日既過，一週的第一日，天快亮時，瑪利亞瑪達肋納和另外一個瑪利亞來看墳墓。 | 1After the sabbath, at the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to visit the tomb. |
| 2忽然發生了大地震，因為上主的天使從天降來，上前把石碩滾開，坐在上面。 | 2Suddenly there was a violent earthquake: an angel of the Lord descending from heaven, came to the stone, rolled it from the entrance of the tomb, and sat on it. |
| 3他的容貌好像閃電，他的衣服潔白如雪。 | 3His appearance was like lightning and his garment white as snow. |
| 4看守的人由於怕他，嚇得打顫，變得好像死人一樣。 | 4The guards trembled in fear and became like dead men when they saw the angel. |
| 5天使對婦女說道：「你們不要害怕！我知道你們尋找被釘死的耶穌。 | 5The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. |
| 6他不在這裏，因為他已經照他所說的復活了。你們來看看那安放過他的地方； | 6He is not here, for he is risen as he said. Come, see the place where they laid him; |
| 7並且快去對他的門徒說：他已經由死者中復活了。看！他在你們以先往加里肋亞去，在那裏你們要看見他。看！我已經告訴了你們。」 | 7then go at once and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead and is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. This is my message for you." |
| 8她們趕快離開墳墓，又恐懼又異常喜樂，跑去報告他的門徒。 | 8They left the tomb at once in holy fear, yet with great joy, and they ran to tell the news to the disciples. |
| 9忽然，耶穌迎上她們說：「願你們平安！」她們遂上前抱住耶穌的腳，朝拜了他。 | 9Suddenly, Jesus met them on the way and said, "Peace." The women approached him, embraced his feet and worshiped him. |
| 10耶穌對她們說：「不要害怕！你們去，報告我的兄弟，叫他們往加里肋亞去，他們要在那裏看見我。」 | 10But Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to set out for Galilee; there they will see me." |
| 11當婦女離去的時候，有幾個看守的兵士來到城裏，把所發生的事，全告訴了司祭長。 | 11While the women were on their way, the guards returned to the city and some of them reported to the chief priests all that had happened. |
| 12司祭長就同長老聚會商議之後，給了兵士許多錢， | 12The chief priests met with the Jewish authorities and decided to give the soldiers a good sum of money, |
| 13囑咐他們說：「你們就說：我們睡覺的時候，他的門徒夜間來了，把他偷去了。 | 13with this instruction, "Say that his disciples came by night while you were asleep, and stole the body of Jesus. |
| 14如果這事為總督聽見，有我們說好話，保管你們無事。」 | 14If Pilate comes to know of this, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble." |
| 15兵士拿了銀錢，就照他們所囑咐的做了。這消息在猶太人間傳揚開了，一直到今天。 | 15The soldiers accepted the money and did as they were told. This story has circulated among the Jews until this day. |
| 16十一個門徒就往加里肋亞，到耶穌給他們所指定的山上去了。 | 16As for the Eleven disciples, they went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. |
| 17他們一看見他，就朝拜了他，雖然有人還心中疑惑。 | 17When they saw Jesus, they bowed before him, although some doubted. |
| 18耶穌便上前對他們說：「天上地下的一切權柄都交給了我， | 18Then Jesus approached them and said, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. |
| 19所以你們要去使萬民成為門徒，因父及子及聖神之名給他們授洗， | 19Go, therefore, and make disciples from all nations. Baptize them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, |
| 20教訓他們遵守我所吩咐你們的一切。看！我同你們天天在一起，直到今世的終結。」 | 20and teach them to fulfill all that I have commanded you. I am with you always until the end of this world." |
