¹耶穌上船過海，來到自己的城。	¹Jesus got back into the boat, crossed the lake again, and came to his hometown.
²看，有人給他送來一個躺在床上的癱子，耶穌一見他們的信心，就對癱子說：「孩子，你放心！你的罪赦了。」	²Here they brought a paralyzed man to him, lying on a bed. Jesus saw their faith and said to the paralytic, "Courage, my son! Your sins are forgiven."
³經師中有幾個人心裏說：「這人說了褻瀆的話。」	³Then some teachers of the Law said to themselves, "This man insults God."
⁴耶穌看透他們的心意，說：「你們為什麼心裏思念惡事呢？	⁴Jesus was aware of what they were thinking, and said, "Why have you such evil thoughts?
⁵什麼比較容易呢？是說：你的罪赦了，或是說：起來行走罷？	⁵Which is easier to say: 'Your sins are forgiven' or 'Stand up and walk'?
⁶為叫你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄──就對癱子說：起來，拿起你的床，回家去罷！」	⁶You must know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." He then said to the paralyzed man, "Stand up! Take your stretcher and go home."
⁷「那人就起來，回家去了。」	⁷The man got up, and went home.
⁸群眾見了，就都害怕起來，遂歸光榮於天主，因他賜給了人們這樣大的權柄。	⁸When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and praised God for giving such power to human beings.
⁹耶穌從那裏前行，看見一個人在稅關那裏坐着，名叫瑪竇，對他說：「跟隨我！」他就起來跟隨了耶穌。	⁹As Jesus moved on from there, he saw a man named Matthew at his seat in the custom-house, and he said to him, "Follow me." And Matthew got up and followed him.
¹⁰當耶穌在屋裏坐席時，有許多稅吏和罪人也來同耶穌和他的門徒一起坐席。	¹⁰Now it happened, while Jesus was at table in Matthew's house, many tax collectors and other sinners joined Jesus and his disciples.
¹¹法利塞人看見，就對他的門徒說：「你們的老師為什麼同稅吏和罪人一起進食呢？」	¹¹When the Pharisees saw this they said to his disciples, "Why is it that your master eats with those sinners and tax collectors?"
¹²耶穌聽見了，就說：「不是健康的人需要醫生，而是有病的人。	¹²When Jesus heard this he said, "Healthy people do not need a doctor, but sick people do.
¹³你們去研究一下：『我喜歡仁愛勝過祭獻』是什麼意思；我不是來召義人，而是來召罪人。」	¹³Go and find out what this means: What I want is mercy, not sacrifice. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."
¹⁴那時，若翰的門徒來到他跟前說：「為什麼我們和法利塞人多次禁食，而你的門徒卻不禁食呢？」	¹⁴Then the disciples of John came to him with the question, "How is it that we and the Pharisees fast on many occasions, but not your disciples?"
¹⁵耶穌對他們說：「伴郎豈能當新郎與他們在一起的時候悲哀？但日子將要來到：當新郎從他們中被劫去時，那時他們就要禁食了。	¹⁵Jesus answered them, "How can you expect wedding guests to mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? Time will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, then they will fast.
¹⁶沒有人用未漂過的布作補釘，補在舊衣服上的，因為補上的必扯裂了舊衣，破綻就更加壞了。	¹⁶No one patches an old coat with a piece of unshrunken cloth, for the patch will shrink and tear an even bigger hole in the coat.
¹⁷也沒有人把新酒裝入舊皮囊裏的；不然，皮囊一破裂，酒也流了，皮囊也壞了；而是應把新酒裝在新皮囊裏，兩樣就都得保全。」	¹⁷Besides you don't put new wine in old wineskins. If you do, the wineskins will burst and the wine be spilt. No, you put new wine in fresh skins; then both are preserved."
¹⁸耶穌向他們說這話的時候，有一位首長前來跪拜他說：「我的女兒剛纔死了，可是請你來，把你的手放在她身上，她必會活。」	¹⁸While Jesus was speaking to them, an official of the synagogue came up to him, bowed before him and said, "My daughter has just died, but come and place your hands on her, and she will live."
¹⁹耶穌起來跟他去了；他的門徒也跟了去。	¹⁹Jesus stood up and followed him with his disciples.
²⁰看，有一個患血漏十二年的女人，從後面走近，摸了他的衣服繸頭，	²⁰Then a woman who had suffered from a severe bleeding for twelve years came up from behind and touched the edge of his cloak.
²¹因為她心裏想：「只要我一摸他的衣服，我就會好了。」	²¹For she thought, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed."
²²耶穌轉過身來，看着她說「女兒，放心罷！你的信德救了你。」從那時起，那女人就好了。	²²Jesus turned, saw her and said, "Courage, my daughter, your faith has saved you." And from that moment the woman was cured.
²³耶穌來到首長家裏，看見吹笛的和亂鬨鬨的群眾，	²³When Jesus arrived at the official's house and saw the flute players and the excited crowd, he said,
²⁴就說：「你們走開罷！女孩子沒有死，只是睡着了。」他們都譏笑他。	²⁴"Get out of here! The girl is not dead. She is only sleeping!" And they laughed at him.
²⁵把群眾趕出去以後，耶穌就進去，拿起女孩子的手，小女孩就起來了。	²⁵But once the crowd had been turned out, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up.
²⁶這消息傳遍了那整個地區。	²⁶The news of this spread through the whole area.
²⁷耶穌從那裏前行，有兩個瞎子跟着他喊說：「達味之子！可憐我們罷！」	²⁷As Jesus moved on from there, two blind men followed him, shouting, "Son of David, help us!"
²⁸他一來到家，瞎子便走到他跟前；耶穌對他們說：「你們信我能作這事嗎？」他們對他說：「是，主！」	²⁸When he was about to enter the house, the blind men caught up with him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do what you want?" They answered, "Yes, sir!"
²⁹於是耶穌摸他們的眼說：「照你們的信德，給你們成就罷！」	²⁹Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, "As you have believed, so let it be."
³⁰他們的眼便開了。耶穌嚴厲警戒他們說：「你們當心，不要使任何人知道。」	³⁰And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus gave them a stern warning, "Be careful and let no one know about this."
³¹但他們出去，就在那整個地區把他傳揚開了。	³¹But as soon as they went away, they spread the news about him through the whole area.
³²他們出去後，看，有人給耶穌送來一個附魔的啞吧。	³²When they had just left, some people brought to Jesus a man who was dumb because he was possessed by a demon.
³³魔鬼一被趕出去，啞吧就說出話來。群眾驚奇說：「在以色列從未出現過這樣的事情。」	³³When the demon was driven out, the dumb man began to speak. The crowds were astonished and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel." (
³⁴但法利塞人們卻說：「他是仗賴魔王驅魔。」	³⁴But the Pharisees said, "He drives away demons with the help of the prince of demons.")
³⁵耶穌周遊各城各村，在他們的會堂內施教，宣講天國的福音，治好一切疾病，一切災殃。	³⁵Jesus went around all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom, and he cured every sickness and disease.
³⁶他一見到群眾，就對他們動了慈心，因為他們困苦流離，像沒有牧人的羊。	³⁶When he saw the crowds he was moved with pity, for they were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.
³⁷於是對自己的門徒說：「莊稼固多，工人卻少，	³⁷Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is abundant but the workers are only few.
³⁸所以你們應當求莊稼的主人派遣工人，來收他的莊稼。」	³⁸Ask the master of the harvest to send workers to gather his harvest."
