| 1登聖殿歌。居住在諸天上的大主，我向你仰起我的眼目。 | 1To you I lift up my eyes, to you whose throne is in heaven. |
| 2看，僕人的眼目，怎樣仰望主人的手，看，婢女的眼目，怎樣注視主婦的手；我們的眼目也就怎樣注視着上主，我們的天主，直到他憐憫我們才止。 | 2As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of maids look to the hand of their mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy. |
| 3上主，求你矜憐，矜憐我們！因為我們已嘗盡了欺凌； | 3Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for we have our fill of contempt. |
| 4我們的心靈已經飽受得太多了：即驕傲人的欺凌，富貴人的恥笑。 | 4Too long have our souls been filled with the scorn of the arrogant, with the ridicule of the insolent. |
